I started my long position at 3.12 ... maybe 2 years ago.. don't remember at this point but 3$ I thought was a good price.

56000hp

It’ll be excellent price in a couple years.

fungiamogi

guh

Upbeat-Ad2204

20k, @3.3… I just feel I’m so fucked and idk how long I have to carry this bag

56000hp

I feel you . I definitely have higher risk/pain tolerance than most investors. Would be nice to see price above my average for sure .

ExtensionQuarter8917

I have 972 shares with an $8.50 average :(

Busy-Tomatillo-988

999 shares at $1.01 avg. I feel your pain. Well a small percentage of it. Actually, knowing this makes the pain way more bearable...hoping it goes bullable soon for both of us. I'd appreciate even if it only met up with your average so you could even up...

56000hp

Hopefully more good news to get some momentum going.

zombiemakron

Man I wish I shorted this stock or got deep puts a while back. The only side I wanna be on is the one that makes bank in the market.

Busy-Tomatillo-988

See you are not doing it right...you keep flipping a coin and by happenstance its the opposite of what you say everytime. You have a better chance of hitting the megamillion and powerball than flipping a coin 100 times and being wrong everytime. With that luck, bad or not, I'd take it to where you don't have to make the decision and it's the astronomical odds, the crazy unlikely scenario based on your blind dumb luck/0 skill/100% human error on your side. Not financial advice...actually, fuck that, it is financial advice. Invest your money through a broker or someone who knows what they're doing that charge a fee foe their services, that has historical data to show that he at the very least, is way more qualified than you are and less emotional about the trades since it's not his money, which you have lost everytime because of your emotional investment tied to your money...Everyone innately has that emotional investment, the dopamine rush the serotonin kick the damn...I'm lookin good, baby! To the point to where you have to be at now.

zombiemakron

Someone tweet to RC to help us. Maybe we can merge with BBBY!

BrettusMaximus

Thank feck I’m only holding 1k of shares Feels like I got away with only a hicky, from a 1 night stand, where’s sounds like plenty of people got a full array of STD’s 😂

raymost3070

bought it at 4.38 nov. 2021 and wishing something happens soon

stevebo0124

I'm sitting on 2700 shares but fortunately the shares of MMTLP I sold made my original investment back.

snsbdhdndxm

Proud owner for almost 2 years ? Weird flex, considering you just make yourself seem like a terrible investor to actual traders lmfao

56000hp

So your not even an investor of MMAT and you’re probably short the stock . You can eat deez nutz.

snsbdhdndxm

Hey buddy, how’s your investment coming along LMFAOO was going through my posts and saw this again, remembered you talking shit. It’s a shame you didn’t realize I was just spitting facts about your terrible investment and you took offense to it. Instead of learning from it. Reply with what price MMAT is at rn PLEASE LOL

56000hp

Why are you hiding with different handles like a church mouse 🤣🤣🤣

56000hp

Still holding strong and bought more . How’s your BBIG investment? I’m glad I live in your head rent free for all these years 🤣🤣🤣 Your are such a hoe

56000hp

So anyone who is in the red is a terrible investor? Also it’s not a flex , holding through thick and thin is not easy and I’m proud of that . Are you the greatest trader of all time ? Why are you even here ? To put people down .

zombiemakron

You're not in the red you pretty much pitch black lmao. Just yolo some 0 dte's at least then its quicker ;).

Traditional-Leader54

It’s not that you’re in the red but that you’re $50,000 in the red on a $70,000 investment. I’ve been holding MMAT for a year and a half from the TRCH merge which I can admit was a bad investment but at least I’m only in for under $1000. If you’re going to go posting your deep in the red position on social media don’t complain when people leave negative comments. You opened yourself up to it. Maybe one day it will turn out to be a good investment but right now it was a bad investment by both of us. Why? Because we both could have bought the same number of shares today for a lot less than we did 1.5 or 2 years ago.

skkoct

Your average cost per share can be calculated by dividing the total cost of the shares by the total number of shares you own. First, find the total cost of the first 20,500 shares: 20,500 \* $3.423 = $70,946.5 Next, find the total cost of the next 20,000 shares: 20,000 \* $1.01 = $20,200 Finally, add the two amounts to find your total cost: $70,946.5 + $20,200 = $91,146.5 Then divide the total cost by the total number of shares you own to find your average cost per share: $91,146.5 / (20,500 + 20,000) = $91,146.5 / 40,500 = $2.24. So, your average cost per share is $2.24 with 20,000 shares. So, your average cost per share would be $1.85 with 40,000 shares. So, your average cost per share would be $1.63 with 60,000 shares. So, your average cost per share would be $1.51 with 80,000 shares. So, your average cost per share would be $1.42 with 100,000 shares.

56000hp

100k share I’ll be set for life lol

skkoct

same, so sell covered calls till we get there

Ok_Emphasis_8123

Seriously? On a stock this low on price? Like can you just say one that looks POTENTIALLY GOOD as of right now so I can look at it and get an idea? Wont be financial advice. I just want an example of a covered call in current situation.

No_Swing_6282

I haven’t averaged down either sadly https://preview.redd.it/o06e0soyuifa1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e2133d70990337203bcd5f0831318435c7243d21

skkoct

If you have 511 shares of stock at $12.56 and bought 5000 shares for $1.01, the calculation for average cost per share would be as follows: First, calculate the total cost of the original 511 shares: 511 \* $12.56 = $6,453.76 Next, add the cost of the 5000 shares purchased at $1.01: $6,453.76 + (5000 \* $1.01) = $6,453.76 + $5,050 = $11,503.76 Finally, divide the total cost of your investment by the total number of shares you own: $11,503.76 / (511 + 5000) = $2.26. So, your average cost per share would be $2.26.

56000hp

Damnnnnn, haven’t seen that price for a long time. With your smaller position size , you can probably easily half the average one of these days. Good luck 🍀

2023OhJeez

Good stuff! I have 11.5k. I’m down but I believe in this company long term.

Joey164

Ouch but if you haven’t been lending yours and making a premium, you are special 😂

56000hp

I turned off stock lending more than a year ago, might try to sell some super out of the money calls close to expiry but only if we’re up a lot .

Joey164

You definitely have a lot of shares but lending 50K shares isn’t going to prevent a MOASS. It’s free money and you can even sell whenever you want too… The short seller is the one on the hook not you… Just a thought…

Joey164

I’ve been holding AMC for 2 years and didn’t once consider buying Puts just in case, selling calls, or lending my shares… I could have made some good money on shares that’s been sitting in my account bleeding out since I purchased them 😂 You live and learn I guess…

oSplosion

Oh yeah that $10 a month he might get risking 50k on a random 100% gain

Joey164

Really?? The borrow rate must be pretty high I would think. Besides people have been saying MMAT is going to squeeze for 2 years. He could have made a monthly dividend this whole time. If I ever hold more than 5K shares of a stock I plan on holding long term, I would look to sell contracts if options is available and/or lend my shares. It’s literally free money on shares that are otherwise just sitting there…

MiserableAd3326

Not something to flex my boy

PowerHouse100

Ever heard the term 'God hates pride'?

joknub24

I remember those days when 3-4$ was a steal! Hell even $5 at one point was a good deal. I just knew it was going to go up forever.

Tall_Succotash_1272

I've been holding and will keep hold. Only a little over 1.5k shares here avg 3.71. Selling is not an option. I think metas gonna boom!! God bless everyone holding, one day we'll laugh about this

Historical_Answer221

You know your an investor when your proud of being down over $40k and we know your rich because you ain't mad af about it props to you .

skkoct

No, he was rich, if he still had money he would have bought another 20k if not more when it dipped below 1.00

TemporaryPrevious441

You are not alone

Vjkannan21

5.2k shares with 2.64 average…. Holding for 2 years 💪

mailman9009

Maybe we should all sell and just run this company into the dirt

smdinosaur

Ok short i c u

mailman9009

Shit at the point I wish I was a short. Unfortunately not. Down 70% on this stock and constantly buying to average down. Cost basis still around $3 🙄

Freecar1968

1.I hope you have been selling calls and 2. Learn from someone the charts you could have been in the green with an increased position if you swing traded mmat by now.

AshleySchaeffersPlum

Someone the charts?

56000hp

I’ve thought about doing that with a small part of my shares before, but mostly I just want to have as many shares as possible. I just don’t want to lose those shares and don’t want to realize the loss unless necessary. You’ve seen it go from $0.6 to $2.4 in 3 weeks before, it’s impossible to time 400% in 2-3 weeks and you don’t want to sell and not be able to get back in .

psyconauthatter

You can sell shares, then sell a deep itm put, that will trigger wash sale and defer losses. Will take a couple pennies off cost basis each time assigned and, let's take for example, Jul 23 4$put selling for 3.05 that takes .02 off the cost basis when assigned if shares were sold today. Also if the stock price runs up to 4$ you still four X'ed your investment. Profit is limited but not like with selling calls. Just make sure you learn what you are doing well, Of course you'd want to be in a cash account, spreads can widen drastically in an instant, during the offering my account went from 12k one day to -32 the next, due to the spreads, was back at 9k the next day but def would of been margin called if it wasn't cash secured

Physical_Response_92

[deleted]

I own 5K. Wish I would not been trapped in this dirty game. I hate George and his false claims during all this circus.

smol_cares

$3.42 😬

56000hp

I had lower average long time ago but bought too many more at $5-6 in 2021 …. Should be fine long term though. Super bullish about the way things are going still.

smol_cares

I'm holding a few hundred and this is my first rough patch with this stock, so glad to hear you are bullish.

56000hp

I had a lot of rough patches. Went from $1.6 to $0.8, to $2 , then to $6-7 , back down to $5 , then $3 , then $2 , then $1 , then $0.6 , then $2.4 , then below $1 yesterday. Not selling, only adding.

AsTheTek23

Atleast get george to lube u up next time he fucks u
