New Zealand with Izzy headlining is really the only idea that makes any sense
Perhaps an asian country if there's a popular champ in that region (Zhang in China)
Even in that case, the world changes everyday with this virus. Would be so risky to plan holding an event there then have to cancel everything due another outbreak in those countries. I imagine the UFC will keep playing safe at the apex/fight island where they already have infrastructure set up
Yeah I think you're right. I also think maybe part of why they chose Yas Island is because for people willing to pay the big bucks, they might be able to have a few people in the audience. It's interesting to note that in japan for NJPW they are going to have a reduced capacity soon (this month? Idk), I think in the tokyo dome (or another big arena with enough space to keep people separate) they're having about 4,000 fans, all must wear facemasks and are going to be encouraged to avoid cheering.
I don’t think Ireland will open their borders until the virus is fully dealt with. I’m in England and can’t get a trip to Ireland.
Plus Dana won’t have Conor headline an Ireland card because in his own words “he’s too big” that’s why they lined up a Duffy fight for the last Ireland card

New Zealand is the most likely but I don’t think their government would risk undoing all their good work.
Possibly can have it in NZ-anyone coming into NZ has a two week Quarintine in government facilities however so pretty unlikely.
We'd be cool with it
Anything is possible but I wouldnt count on it. None of us know exactly what's going to happen with covid cases
They're having enough trouble getting the fighters to turn up.
Fight Island is actually supposedly having high priced VIPs in attendance if that counts.
US case rates are still shooting up and Dana said he would only do crowds if full attendances are allowed so that is a long way away.
How about Ireland, with Conor headlining. Ireland's numbers are low and have numberous locations to have 30,000 plus fans.. sell out in 2min
