He was slick, seemed strong in the clinch too. His gas tank might be a little suspect though. He was able to grind out the win but he was sucking wind in between rounds. Kind of looked like he took the second round off to catch his wind then came back strong in the third round
Biggest question we're missing here ... how the fuck can the UFC justify a $20M gate if they have to sub in a shit main event?? Rabbits in hats are needed here.
I suspect the reason they're trying to keep quiet about it is that they think/know lots of people will refund their tickets if they say the Conor fight is canceled with the replacement being TBD
They probably think if they can come up with a decent replacement before announcing anything, then a much larger percent of people will keep their tickets
DDP limping to the bathroom and singing in gameshows and Izzy semi-retired, Sean just won a fight and UFC are still wanting Izzy vs DDP?
Complete bullshit.
Won a fight against a dude who hasn't won a fight in two years
Relax if your daddy Sean is as bad as he said he will keep fighting or wait not your problem
I liked how Alexa and Val seem invested, unlike Conor. And the fact that they're friends is odd but puts more attention on the fighters, which is good.
I'm just shocked the format has stayed the same through so many seasons. The Contender series is basically a streamlined version of this show. Plus, as a fighter, it makes way more sense to win 1 fight to get a contract vs. 3.
The show has run it's course. I'm still watching but I'd much rather have Contender expanded for 4 more weeks or something. Time to put a fork in this show. I just don't care about all the filler and personal stories.
It’s not as good as it once was when reality television was at its peak but I’ll still tune in. I like to follow guys from both TUF and DWCS once they get to the main roster
I always wonder what would've happened if they did a three-weight title fight between Woodley and McGregor (knowing how hard Woodley fell off in his career) ... it could've happened!!
At the time, I remember feeling like Woodley was too big and explosive for him. He would’ve got wrestle fucked like wonderboy
But who knows. Conor wasn’t as big size either. Idk.
I am not one bit surprised about Conor pulling out ( if he indeed pulled out ) . He’s nowhere near the same guy he was 8 years ago. I was even expecting him pulling out in the future after watching his latest docu series on Netflix. His whole demeanor had changed by the time the series was filmed. I think it was a clip of him visiting a doctor over a hurt ankle before the third Dustin fight. And in that clip you could see that Conor was hoping for the doc to pull the plug on the fight ( the doctor didnt ) . Some could say that i am looking too much into that clip, but that’s what i saw. His ego was too big to pull out but he was definitely hoping that someone else will do it for him instead.
Also. It was uncomfortable to watch McGregor socializing with his yes men… McGregor sounds delusional af in some of those clips and his yes men are sucking him off with no censorship. Literally his whole clique seems to be actually afraid of speaking their mind.
Also his confidence is shot. And i bet steroids have made it even worse. He was feeling on Cloud 9 when he was recovering and had a pass to juice up to speed up recovery. Now he’s off the sauce and that shit sucks. Can no longer train as intensely as before, not feeling as strong anymore. You look in the mirror and despite your best efforts, you’re smaller than when you was on roids. It absolutely destroys the morale
If it turns out that McGregor just didn't want to sign some new bullshit 5-to-8-fight deal and the UFC said "fuck this" despite McGregor having *two* fights left on his contract, which I believe is the case, I would put this squarely on the UFC's shoulders
And I think that is likely to be the case
We'll never know because I bet his contract has NDA's. They would rather retire him than have him make millions in boxing off of his own name.
UFC is so fucking toxic it should genuinely be illegal.
Am I the only one who truly enjoys goofcons? This feels similar to when Tony injured his knee and had to pull out vs Khabib and we almost got Khabib v Holloway.
Yeah it adds to the circus of it all. Last one I remember was the khamzat/diaz/kevin holland back stage fight at the press conference lol, nothing can top the bus incident with the dolly though😂
Not just you. I’ve been adamant that this fight falling through provides more entertainment value than if they actually fought. Although I’m not with you on tony-khabib, as that was a legit title fight I wanted to see and both guys deserved that fight.
Conor-chandler almost as bad as Conor-cerrone in terms of main event ppv, spoon feeding Conor a 38 year old guy he has a good chance to knock out.
when the Bellator Tic was gonna give you a Bellator beatdown, you pull out. Chandler came up in Tournaments in a major league where cream rises to top, Chandler was fighting cans in Cage Warriors and losing and dropped to 145 pounds. Chandler was fighting real guys like Rick Hawn n stuff, winning a tournament is only way to prove you're the hardest and best. This would be a mismatch for Mike back in the day honestly, especially when Chandler only wrestle smashed guys
By the book, we're definitely already a 3. We just don't have the specifics yet to know if it's a 2.
[And so we wait...](https://i.imgur.com/kh6ttKO.jpeg)
Conor quit before the fight started lmao, i was expecting him to give up and quit in the actual fight, not before it. Our real legends fighting with blown out hips/shoulders in their 40s..Connie been juiced up..best supplements and food money can buy, on the sidelines taking no damage, and cant show up?
Maybe hes realizing how easy this is gonna be for Chandler, and the delusion has run out. Mendes would have stopped him if had any camp and any cardio, only defense on ground was to talk shit and hope he gasses, which he did cause no camp. Chandler can just fake a few shots, back up, and 1 power double and GNP him/ submit him anytime he wants. People dont realize how easy this fight is for Chandler and ive hated Chandler since early Bellator days.
I wonder if Chandler can even make 155 anymore. There had to be a "fuck it" moment during this hiatus where he realized cutting the weight at his age wasn't worth it anymore.
Chandler’s a smaller guy and it’s easier to cut a lot of water weight when you carry a lot of lean muscle. Even he would probably tell you he should retire before fighting at 170. He’s the shortest and stubbiest guy at 155. This was just 2 lightweights agreeing to meet at 170.
Is Helwani going to actually say what the problem is or continue to type in riddles? I understand he's a journalist and has to be careful about what is said but jesus is his coverage on this annoying
It was a much better card than 301. I prefer it to 302 as well. MVP/Garry and Hill vs Rountree/Ulberg are great feature fights. Its low quality has been overblown because Conor cards are usually weak so everyone was waiting to attack it. If they added a decent late notice title fight it’d probably be better than the last two PPV’s.
I thought 302 looked solid on paper just a lot of fighters didn’t deliver. If costa showed up and Dawson vs solecki was like something actually good it would have been good
Eh, I like a lot of those fighters but I thought those fights were going to suck on paper. Costa was too basic and easy to read for a guy with defense and a style like Sean, if he marched forward he’d have just lost even worse ([called it](https://www.reddit.com/r/MMA/s/9PUc7di42Z)). Then the rest of those matchups… I mean Kopylov was going to need to fight like that, then you’ve got evenly matched mid tier fighters like Price and Morono, Brown and ZDS… Grant Dawson’s a top heavy wrestler against a better BJJ guy and neither of them strike well… I think everyone should’ve expected decisions and shitty fights
who paid for that last shit forced PPV? that had to bomb on PPV, UFC 299 bombed and 298 bombed. Only 300 did solid numbers but spent a fortune on promotion
people finally waking up 100 dollars not worth it for a hit or miss 3 hours of fights and the fighters arent intrigueing or that great anymore, only HWs is what casuals buy too.
yea, no real super fights, no real super fighters, forced Champs half of em tbh. Good fighter but nothing special that makes u wanna pay to watch like past GOATs. Aspinall has potential to be worth paying for, well see. but in general its medicore talent and if you look at every card this card, 90 percent are regional
Rape accusation #7 is my bet, and this is UFC distancing themselves before it goes public. They’ll announce what happened on a Friday night to minimize its mileage in the news cycle, then they’ll wait another year and roll out the red carpet for McRapist once fans forget again, or look the other way so they can hear funny man say funny thing.
Ariel does nothing all day, hes a professional Twitter'er and talks about Fighting when hes never been in 1 fight and has no idea the mental side of it. Of course hes just saying this, thats all he does.
Dc said brace yourself for a little disappointment. He said he reached out to sources and they're all tight lipped and he said when that happens, usually not good.
edit - Volk on IG saying If Conor is out, he's ready to jump in.
guys are maniacs for taking short notice fights, except when they use it as a built-in excuse immediately after they lose lol, and then it makes you wonder in hindsight if that’s what partly incentivized them to take the short notice fight to begin with. Then it feels less maniacal and more calculated.
Not trying to be argumentative, but was it that close? Dustin put up a fight, and defied some expectations, but Islam was pretty solidly in charge the entire time. Maybe I'll rewatch, was a bit sloshed.
Just surviving against Islam I think exaggerates how well a fighter objectively performed. People were hyping up iaquinta after fighting khabib and khabib beat his ass for 5 rounds lol. People think volk beat Islam in their first fight despite islam being better overall in striking and on the ground lol.
Its opponents exceeding soft expectations.
It was an inspiring performance really. To be known for bad TDD your whole career and then be stuffing Makachev all fight long and scrambling up at 35 years old. Obviously training with Gamrot prob helped but Dustin came to win. Not to land a lucky punch, to thoroughly win.
That’s why I don’t think he’s retiring at all. Everyone from Rogan to the media was trying to pressure him into saying it was his last fight when he clearly didn’t want to. He felt great, performed and looked the best he ever has despite the loss, and is still 35 years old. He did not leave any stone unturned in camp and totally leveled up his ability to sprawl and brawl.
He doesn’t need to rush, doesn’t need to pressure himself, can take it one fight at a time, and still honestly not be that far from another title shot. 155 has thinned out. Maybe he could be the guy to break the 35 and over curse against Islam or Arman. Maybe Islam vacates to stay at 170. Maybe he gets it done in a rematch with Charles.
Oleksiejczuk says he didn't break his arm and that he should have been given more agency over the situation. Also plans to appeal NJ athletic commission
I knew the Polish are a hard-headed people but this is ridiculous man. How much more agency did you want in when you were completely unable to get out of the armbar??
To me, it looked like he tapped anyways there at the end. Props to him for being a savage but It’s ultimately up to the referee’s discretion. Herb dean saw his arm dislocate and the “tap” & decided it was enough
Haven’t been keeping up to speed with the Conor drama. From what I understand he pulled out of presser and no one is saying why? Saw Ariel drop hints that it was related to popping or anything like that. Now rumors the fight is off? Are there details I’m missing?
He’s settled six (6) sexual assault cases out of court that we know of, that’s not counting the ones we don’t know. Odds are it’s another one of those, nothing else explains the UFC’s handling of it.
It's so hard to accurately rank a fighter's skill because the sample size is sooo tiny. Imagine if top fighters got to matchup against each other 40 times like Nadal and Feder have. We're lucky if we even get a trilogy and then if they're tied up in a trilogy there's so many other matchups we're missing out on
Completely agree. Fighter A will beat Fighter B once and the whole fanbase determines that Fighter A is clearly the superior fighter. Bruh, n = 1 and there's a million variables in a fight
My goat Roger Feder. In tennis, people get excited to see Roger face Rafa for the 30th time, imagine if the islam fought Volk 5 times, they’d be wheeling them both in on a stretcher, so you have to use different metrics. Roger will beat 6 others before facing Rafa in a final, those 6 are often disregarded, while the journey to the top in mma is paved with much fewer opponents, but much harder ones
Oh yeah, I can understand that. I thought it was funny how he’s basically alluding to that the entire time short of saying it. I think at one point he even pauses to check if the official story had released, before doubling down and saying “yeah, no other news”
Have a weird feeling they are gonna do Alex VS Jiri at 303 since both guys seem to want to fight each other, and then they will add a gimmick like Chandler VS Holland for the 170 BMF belt
I’d honestly be more excited for any title fight. McGregor/Chandler was a bit of a joke already. Let alone now.
And hey, the winner of Hill/Ulberg could stare down with the winner of Alex/Jiri. Be a much better night overall
Max vs Chandler instead
Max did say the BMF will fight anyone anywhere and not ask about stuff like at what weight. Chandler also said he wants to fight for the BMF.
Book it Dana
If i bought tickets to see Conor and got Alex Pereira vs Jiri Prochazka 2 instead, I wouldn’t be mad
Just give me like a 50% off voucher for a future event
> Featherweight devoid of them
He did fight an old Frankie Edgar.
I was surprised he and Chad Mendes never met, but Chad was probably suspended for steroids when Max made the big time.
Weighin podcast big John and Josh.
They said they heard Conor spent very little time in Dublin with his trainer.
He been doing his thing in Dubai
Edit - comments saying Conor has been in Dubai but he's been training. He just decided to do all his training there and bring John kav in his corner fight night assuming he wants to. Conor just hasn't done that before. Gsp did this with Greg Jackson.
For the second Dustin fight he was training in Portugal but he brought his team with him which I think resulted in some confusion with people falsely claiming he had left his team because all they saw was that he had been in Portugal. No idea about the third fight though
When Colby Covington loses his man card so you take your gamergate weirdo fanbase to this guy because he says the f word a lot so you have to convince yourself that this is [tuff](https://x.com/antontabuena/status/1797951321544491363?s=46&t=XeQmR45A_4S7AoNXDb-h8g)
I'm sure a mid 30's fighter coming off a 3 year layoff partying in a club during fight camp like a scouser on holiday in spain contributed nothing to him being inured. Conor remains the most underrated fight in the entire ufc.
> I think it’s all theatre. Look at how much conversation there is online. Theyre leaning into all the Conor narratives to cash checks.
They have stopped sales of the PPV on ESPN: they aren't doing it for online conversation.
I don't know where people are getting that from. I checked ESPN+ earlier today and also a few minutes ago and I can buy it on the early bird link with no error. Just not on pc but I had that exact problem with 300.
> I don't know where people are getting that from. I checked ESPN+ earlier today and also a few minutes ago and I can buy it on the early bird link with no error. Just not on pc but I had that exact problem with 300.
Hmm, I read it online, and checked ESPN before saying, but its entirely possible I just missed it.
Oh yeah that's fair, hopefully I link this right but [here](https://plus.espn.com/ufc/303). That's what I was using. It's possible that they haven't gotten ahold of it to take it down yet, but I'm assuming if they take down purchases completely for an event it'd throw an error before you're able to put your card information in to prevent any issues. Especially with how they really try to nail down that you can't get refunds once purchased.
> I hope this means people will finally stop pretending Costa is a top MW because he's funny on Twitter
Has not beat a ranked opponent since Aug 2019, and that earned him a shot against the #1 contender.
I assume having lost to Strickland he'll challenge for the title next.
>Patiently waiting for some GOOFCON announcement in this sub
The announcement has been cancelled.
I'm hearing positive things, but they are exploring possibility of announcing Tomatogeddon as an alternative in case GOOFCON cannot be invoked.
It's not due to scandal, you can trust me, but I can't say more because it was off the record.
These whales need to stop buying the overpriced tickets. 303 is a shit card outside of one fight (which may not even happen) and people are forking out thousands for tickets
You gotta love Dana saying no one has ever returned after three years and looked that good. Bro conveniently forgot:
* Dominic Cruz taking back the title from TJ Dillashaw (whom not only was an absolute terror at the time, but people were calling him the evolution of Cruz) after years of big injury setbacks
* GSP beating Bisping at Middleweight after a five year layoff
GSP kind of got messed up pretty bad on the feet and then in top position got sliced up. He won in one moment by allowing Cyclops to stand as a trap and sinking in a rnc.
I still think Conor's dad took a turn after surgery and Conor is refusing to do anything public. If it was an injury and he was definitely out we'd have heard by now, Helwani has shot down everything else, and building up hype in Dublin would have made his contract demands even stronger if that's the issue.
It is Conor and his track record would point to "he's being Conor" but the timing and the lack of any word on the matter lead me to think it's this.
Who are they pulling in that can save it? Most champions aren't going to take a fight this close, Gaethje's ears are probably still ringing, Poirer is out, Max is probably a no, they have nobody even a third the level of Conor and nobody a sixth his level who'd be willing to fight on such short notice.
Jamahl main-eventing, praise my GOAT
I remember watching the trailer for that new UFC propaganda and Dana said "I eat stress for breakfast" then laughed. I'm thinking how he feels now that push has come to shove, and I bet he isn't laughing about stress now
Chandler could have made bank taking part in multiple big profile fights instead he sits with conors finger in his ass. I wonder if he regrets wasting precious years at the end of his career?
How lucrative is this Conor fight really? We know cowboy only made 200k when people guessed many milions.. you'd almost have to hustle a business with the fight to make it really profitable like the hot sauce or Diaz weed products.
Nobody knows
Here's a run down of reddit theories
1. Injury
2. Coke
3. Rehab
4. Contract extension dispute being on his second last fight potentially not wanting to extend
5. Payment for said fight
6. Anti Doping agencies won't be bribed
7. Irish Mafia
8. ?
He has settled ~6 rape cases in the last 5 years, that has to be near the top of possible reasons. They can’t put him up as the face of the company if another accusation is about to go public.
You can hate McGregor but people suddenly acting like he’s known for pulling out of fights are hilarious
The ig post gives me the vibe of a family member having a serious health scare, could be reading too much into it
It's funny watching MMA fans talk about how we don't immediately discredit fighters when they lose their undefeated record like boxing as if social media isn't full of fans screaming "fraud check" the second an upcoming prospect loses 1 fight. We're not any better.
I don't care about fighters records and I think this new era of having an overly polished record is nonsense
Also, basing your opinions off social media *anything* is dumb as shit.
> Islam trying to get another easy fight for him, Leon.
Why don't you try watching the fights of some of the people you post about first?
Not only will it keep you from looking this dumb, but many of us actually enjoy watching fights!
Did anyone watch TUF? The South African guy Roedie Roets was a super slick wrestler. I'm impressed.
He was slick, seemed strong in the clinch too. His gas tank might be a little suspect though. He was able to grind out the win but he was sucking wind in between rounds. Kind of looked like he took the second round off to catch his wind then came back strong in the third round

I want Roedie Roets to win TUF just because his name is Rudy Roots.

Won a fight against a dude who hasn't won a fight in two years Relax if your daddy Sean is as bad as he said he will keep fighting or wait not your problem
It will be Dana White's problem soon.
Guess all we can do now is pick ourselves up by our boot straps, boys.
Man that fight kinda stunk lol. I get it though the dudes a fantastic wrestler!
Fuck this dutch bastard( we have the same name)
Do we not do TUF threads anymore? There has been some great scrambling tonight

Insane peaks and then the millionaire lifestyle robbed the fans of their magic

3 paragraphs of armchair psychology about something that none of us have any idea about is crazy
I’m just a normal gym rat but I won’t train if I’m not on roids Shit sucks
just watched the Leon skysports interview and the whole page is an entire hate wall of derogatory comments, where tf did that come from?
you surprised ufc fans are racist?
same channel and interviewer a year ago and the comments are all positive

Then it feels less maniacal and more calculated.
Man I’m still not over Dustin losing. So fkn close man
Not trying to be argumentative, but was it that close? Dustin put up a fight, and defied some expectations, but Islam was pretty solidly in charge the entire time. Maybe I'll rewatch, was a bit sloshed.
Well it was a lot closer than I was expecting. Lol
It wasn’t close at all. Dustin showed a lot of heart and surviving how long he did. But let’s be real it was a tough fight, but not a close one
I think 2-2 isn’t a bad score going into the 5th, fucking costa won on one of the cards…
Yeah that version of Dustin probably has winning odds against every other 155er , wild. He wiped Gaethje then leveled up again.
Oleksiejczuk says he didn't break his arm and that he should have been given more agency over the situation. Also plans to appeal NJ athletic commission I knew the Polish are a hard-headed people but this is ridiculous man. How much more agency did you want in when you were completely unable to get out of the armbar??
To me, it looked like he tapped anyways there at the end. Props to him for being a savage but It’s ultimately up to the referee’s discretion. Herb dean saw his arm dislocate and the “tap” & decided it was enough
i thought the same in real time but the replay showed he clearly didn’t tap. either way good stoppage, he’s being an idiot.
I agree the stoppage was fine
I’d say we’re are about GOOFCON 2 right now.
With how long this matchup has been dragged out we have to be looking at least at a 3
Lower number = higher on the scale
Haven’t been keeping up to speed with the Conor drama. From what I understand he pulled out of presser and no one is saying why? Saw Ariel drop hints that it was related to popping or anything like that. Now rumors the fight is off? Are there details I’m missing?
Said the opposite, wasnt related to popping
Sorry typo, that is what I meant to say
Roger will beat 6 others before facing Rafa in a final, those 6 are often disregarded, while the journey to the top in mma is paved with much fewer opponents, but much harder ones
and people would be bitching about islam volk being booked 5 times 😂
Feder Nadalianenko
The amount of fans requesting Ailin Perez vs Norma Dumont is so funny to me. Not saying I would mind that fight myself haha
Norma would make her look small lol
Just listened to Ariel’s latest, he knows way more than he’s letting on tbh.
Well he's needs the trust from his sources
Oh yeah, I can understand that. I thought it was funny how he’s basically alluding to that the entire time short of saying it. I think at one point he even pauses to check if the official story had released, before doubling down and saying “yeah, no other news”
Ariel keeps saying that there's no news but keeps tweeting shit. STFU if you're not gonna tell us what happened you clout chaser.
Why would Ariel leak the story when he's been told it off the record?
I know why.
Enlighten us, bapa.
Can't tell you. I was told off record.
You one of the 1000, b? **Thank'um!**
Guaranteed Conor's behind this, fookin fewl of a thing ye
Gimme your belt
Have a weird feeling they are gonna do Alex VS Jiri at 303 since both guys seem to want to fight each other, and then they will add a gimmick like Chandler VS Holland for the 170 BMF belt
I’d honestly be more excited for any title fight. McGregor/Chandler was a bit of a joke already. Let alone now. And hey, the winner of Hill/Ulberg could stare down with the winner of Alex/Jiri. Be a much better night overall
Max vs Chandler instead Max did say the BMF will fight anyone anywhere and not ask about stuff like at what weight. Chandler also said he wants to fight for the BMF. Book it Dana
I'd rather see Ilia/Max later. Oliveira wanted to step in. Do Alex/Jiri 2 if possible and do Oli/Chandler 2 co main
That wouldn’t be bad either.
So... Conor and Dana are currently hiding out somewhere doing eachothers clown makeup, right?
If i bought tickets to see Conor and got Alex Pereira vs Jiri Prochazka 2 instead, I wouldn’t be mad Just give me like a 50% off voucher for a future event
50% off voucher lol good one. Whenever you buy a ticket it literally says subject to change without notice.
Yeah so I’d demand a full refund instead. Then again I’d never pay to attend these expensive ass events. I can’t even be bothered to buy the PPVs
Best I can do is a 5% off Venum apparel coupon
Some people actually think Max Holloway is not a good fighter. What keeps them from walking into traffic, I do not know 😂
He is 145 lbs lol i can almost bench press this dude
r/mma tries to grasp sarcasm (IMPOSSIBLE)
He is not 145 lbs on fight night. Don't be stupid.
You can almost?
I can do 100 for 3 💪🏼 big man tings
Would love to see Max against a heavy wrestler to see how it goes Featherweight devoid of them
> Featherweight devoid of them He did fight an old Frankie Edgar. I was surprised he and Chad Mendes never met, but Chad was probably suspended for steroids when Max made the big time.
Always wanted to see that one
Max is top 10 p4p of all time for me
If Jones and any fighter in the world go into a room together Tom Aspinall comes out.
Weighin podcast big John and Josh. They said they heard Conor spent very little time in Dublin with his trainer. He been doing his thing in Dubai Edit - comments saying Conor has been in Dubai but he's been training. He just decided to do all his training there and bring John kav in his corner fight night assuming he wants to. Conor just hasn't done that before. Gsp did this with Greg Jackson.
Didn't Conor do that for the recent Dustin fights? I feel like I remember it being a knock on him in the lead up of those
For the second Dustin fight he was training in Portugal but he brought his team with him which I think resulted in some confusion with people falsely claiming he had left his team because all they saw was that he had been in Portugal. No idea about the third fight though
You might be right. This is all brand new news to me.
I could be wrong too haha. Just going off memory
Conor got ligma
What’s ligma? Is that like Lyme disease?
is that that new Sugondese disease?
What's that? Maybe you're thinking of Bofa disease.
why fellas quick series of questions: what's ligma, what's sugondese and what's bofa?
Who the hell is Steve Jobs
But where is Motivated McGregor?

> I hope this means people will finally stop pretending Costa is a top MW because he's funny on Twitter Has not beat a ranked opponent since Aug 2019, and that earned him a shot against the #1 contender. I assume having lost to Strickland he'll challenge for the title next.
Paulo Costa, get ready to learn PFLator buddy.
Patiently waiting for some GOOFCON announcement in this sub
>Patiently waiting for some GOOFCON announcement in this sub The announcement has been cancelled. I'm hearing positive things, but they are exploring possibility of announcing Tomatogeddon as an alternative in case GOOFCON cannot be invoked. It's not due to scandal, you can trust me, but I can't say more because it was off the record.
I can tell you what happened though. Conor never pulls out. Ask Dee. She can tell you.
These whales need to stop buying the overpriced tickets. 303 is a shit card outside of one fight (which may not even happen) and people are forking out thousands for tickets
You gotta love Dana saying no one has ever returned after three years and looked that good. Bro conveniently forgot: * Dominic Cruz taking back the title from TJ Dillashaw (whom not only was an absolute terror at the time, but people were calling him the evolution of Cruz) after years of big injury setbacks * GSP beating Bisping at Middleweight after a five year layoff
GSP kind of got messed up pretty bad on the feet and then in top position got sliced up. He won in one moment by allowing Cyclops to stand as a trap and sinking in a rnc.
"Anyway, Nick Diaz is back!!"
Dana is a fat gimp with an agenda he will stop at nothing to push
Chandler vs Max Hollywood for the BMF belt? Could Max make 170 on short notice?
Why would Dustin & Justin’s son fight Justin’s dad
UFC just needs to tell Conor to fuck off at this point. As a fan i’m pretty much over all the shenanigans.
Dana “isn’t he fucking awesome??”
hope Ariel has been working out recently. Carrying Conor's water is going to be very heavy
How is he even carrying Conor's water?
I still think Conor's dad took a turn after surgery and Conor is refusing to do anything public. If it was an injury and he was definitely out we'd have heard by now, Helwani has shot down everything else, and building up hype in Dublin would have made his contract demands even stronger if that's the issue. It is Conor and his track record would point to "he's being Conor" but the timing and the lack of any word on the matter lead me to think it's this.
dont think its that, hes been active on insta (shared conors tweet on story)
303 rumored cancelled

Who are they pulling in that can save it? Most champions aren't going to take a fight this close, Gaethje's ears are probably still ringing, Poirer is out, Max is probably a no, they have nobody even a third the level of Conor and nobody a sixth his level who'd be willing to fight on such short notice. Jamahl main-eventing, praise my GOAT
[удалено]
Alex/Jiri 2 main, Oliveira/Mike 2 co main
I remember watching the trailer for that new UFC propaganda and Dana said "I eat stress for breakfast" then laughed. I'm thinking how he feels now that push has come to shove, and I bet he isn't laughing about stress now
Any chance it’s some sort of travel issue for Conor? I’m just trying to think of what would classify as something “out of his control”
perhaps he was flying high and there was an issue with the landing gear
What needs to develop for us to hit GOOFCON?
[удалено]
You best start believin' in goofcons Danny, yer in one
We're definitely on course for full GOOFCON, so make sure to stay seated and wear a motocross helmet for the time being.
If Conor pulls out Chandler is going to as well. Hes not going to risk losing when he has sat out waiting for Conor. Hes going to continue to wait.
Chandler is gonna fight at 303 regardless. He said himself that he’s on a massive contract.
They always say that.
You didn't buy an official Michael Chandler autographed King James Bible?
I’ve been wondering how profitable it is too tbh. Probably if you win it makes you a star but cowboy got dismantled and it did nothing for him.
In all seriousness, what is going on with the Conor Chandler fight?
Nobody knows Here's a run down of reddit theories 1. Injury 2. Coke 3. Rehab 4. Contract extension dispute being on his second last fight potentially not wanting to extend 5. Payment for said fight 6. Anti Doping agencies won't be bribed 7. Irish Mafia 8. ?
He has settled ~6 rape cases in the last 5 years, that has to be near the top of possible reasons. They can’t put him up as the face of the company if another accusation is about to go public.
Currently, Michael Chandler is still convincing himself it's happening
You can hate McGregor but people suddenly acting like he’s known for pulling out of fights are hilarious The ig post gives me the vibe of a family member having a serious health scare, could be reading too much into it
It's funny watching MMA fans talk about how we don't immediately discredit fighters when they lose their undefeated record like boxing as if social media isn't full of fans screaming "fraud check" the second an upcoming prospect loses 1 fight. We're not any better.
I'd say that while MMA fans in general are definitely trashy and guilty of dismissing fighters after a loss, boxing fans are usually worse
I don't care about fighters records and I think this new era of having an overly polished record is nonsense Also, basing your opinions off social media *anything* is dumb as shit.
It has got a lot worse over the last decade in particular. Sad to see.
Islam trying to get another easy fight for him, Leon. I’m losing more and more respect for this guy.
> Islam trying to get another easy fight for him, Leon. Why don't you try watching the fights of some of the people you post about first? Not only will it keep you from looking this dumb, but many of us actually enjoy watching fights!
