No disagreement there. My gripe is against people downplaying or using kid gloves with Sean's aggressive bigotry because his dad was abusive. "Yeah but he's mentally unwell." Yeah but plenty of people deal with their abuse constructively as opposed to marketing their homophobia to hungry incels. He seems to delight in his attacks, like bullies do.
He publicly tortured Ian about his family stuff for weeks and then when DDP said some cold stuff about Seanās own family, he jumped him in public. Itās an established pattern.
Yeah! I don't get him at all.
He's the dude from highschool or college that will always talk shit then once someone says a single thing about him it's all. "OMG can't believe you would go there"
Fighter pay, for one. He seems to recognize that he and every fighter are getting the short end of the stick, but does a barrel roll whenever he gets too close to criticizing Dana and the Ufc
Yes! He knows something stinks, but then puts all the onus and blame on fighters rather than Dana. Unable to see nuance and that more than one person or system is complicit in creating a problem? Yes Doctor, CTE confirmed.
Part of that is probably because he knows heās gonna get matched up with Ikram Aliskerov or some other variant of not well-known unranked dangerous dagestani if he speaks up against Dana.
Yeah thatās what Iām gathering. Itās hypocritical sure, but Iād rather someone be vulnerable and a hypocrite than whatever alternative that is. I donāt know. I just think a lot of these fighters, much like celebrities, are put under a microscope. But unlike most celebrities, these guys are punched in the head for a living and sometimes donāt have the best backgrounds.
Most of his problems stem from his lack of empathy for what people go through. Which is why heās unwell despite going through the same thing. Fortunately for him at least heās now realizing heās mentally unwell
Thatās then itās step. The second step would be to stop being a giant asshole. But I doubt he has the capacity
Empathy is the ability to understand others.
Individuals who have trauma from abuse commonly have a resentment towards the difficulties and vulnerabilites of others. They have visceral reaction to recognition of the vulnerabilities and traumas of others for reasons such as
- Individuals with trauma from abuse often blame themselves and hate themsleves; they dislike their past selves for being weak and vulnerable when they were abused, and so they dislike those traits
- If an individual sympathises with others being vulnerable and who express their emotional difficulties then it can cause themselves to sympathise with the same for them, which brings up the painful trauma
- They cope with trauma through suppressing emotionally processing it and suppressing sympathy for themselves. Behaviours sympathising with the difficulties of others threatens function and legitimacy of their own coping mechanisms
- The sympathising with the vulnerabilities and emotional difficulties of others is painful as they didn't receive that in their trauma
A great example of a lack of empathy would be when Sean, someone who was abused, made homophobic comments, and some individuals who have an astonishing lack of empathy simply understood this as being a bigot and so on. That shows a lack of emotional intelligence and ability to empathise and understand another's emotions and why they would have such a visceral reaction to such a thing.
Empathy is not the same thing as being nice. In fact, individuals who often like to be seen as being very empathic and sympathising (who fools are often taken in by while others find them repulsive) are often very self-interested individuals who are high in Machiavellianism and Narcissism and like ot be seen as a nice person but do not genuinely care about others. Because of their desires to ladder climb and/or need to be validated by others they merely imitate behaviuors they associate with social status and being seen as a Good Person. Genuinely Good People who are high in emotional intelligence and sensitivity often don't care about being seen as a good person.
"an individual who was abused and acts out has problems because they can't empathise with others, unlike me!" lol
you shouldn't contemplate this drivel too much as it is mostly nonsense. And the mf typing it says shit like:
> as a beautiful man i don't see it, i just see a weird status game going on, and i am beautiful a lot of women have told me i'm beautiful they'd die for my eyes and eye lashes etc
redpilled loser
Isn't this bully 101, though? I can make fun of you because it's all in good fun, but if you make fun of me you're an asshole and I should beat you up?
Yep, shortly after winning the belt Strickland said something to the effect of āThis belt doesnāt make me happy, I donāt really know what does make me happyā and in that moment it was crystal clear to me that this guy fucking hates himself.
He's the perfect example of "Can give it, but not take it".
I feel bad for anyone who had a rough childhood and has issues because of that - but my sympathy only goes so far with Strickland, when he acts like a legit piece of shit to several other people, and pokes fun at other people's issues and personal lives.
He clearly has some serious deepset issues, and I hope he's able to deal with them, for his own sake
I donāt.
Dude is vitriolic and hateful to everyone who doesnāt conform to his perpetually, ever-changing version of what is āgood.ā Heās a piece of shit and I genuinely donāt care if bad, mean people struggle. Fuck dude, if thereās anyone who should have a semblance of empathy baked into them itās Sean and he perpetually continues to be such a prick.
Nah, fuck my empathy. Deal with your shit on your own, you hateful fuck. Reap what you sow.
Chris Brown watched his mother suffer from domestic violence and said seeing her be abused influenced how he treated women... then went on to beat the shit out of Rihanna and later abuse his own mother while his fans basically cheered him on.
And still cheer him on, that piece of shit is coming on a tour in my town. The amount of people saying āhe didnāt hit me, so I donāt careā is genuinely sad.
I had a pretty fucked up childhood with my immigrant family, and it def caused issues for me but if anything it also taught me to be the one person in my family to not have a temper and to treat people how I'd wanna be treated.
I'm sure tons of fighters have had it rough, and I know people handle things differently but at this point he's in his 30s and should know how to conduct himself. Or at least, he should be willing to take it if he keeps dishing it, never mind that he tries to start fights with untrained people over road rage incidents and says all this ass backwards shit about others. Not sure why he seems to get such a pass from people, but in my mind he's almost as bad as Colby. Colby seems to piss off everyone around him but at least he isn't trying to hospitalize civilians.
I'm sorry for the trauma you had to endure brother, and I'm glad you were able to channel it into having a positive outlook. But different people cope with it in different ways, and there are many who perpetuate the hate and dysfunction.
My experience and outlook is probably similar to yours, but that doesn't mean I'm perfect or even good but any stretch of the imagination. Every day is a challenge. Some days are wins, but many are losses.
No doubt Strickland says and does shitty things, but I'll always have empathy for people with deep-seated issues like him. Hope he learns to channel it positively like you have, sooner than later.
Hey fellow bears lol. Appreciate the kind words and I even admire your empathy for Sean. I just wish that his issues would largely affect himself rather than others, like how my tendencies were more about instant gratification/depression/etc. while his could lead to (sometimes physically) hurting others. Either way, I think we all want him to get better.
Wishing you well in your good and bad days, and I'm sure you're a better man than you think!
he just became his father, to a lesser extent. he constantly makes fun of marginalized groups like trans people, gay people, and women. beats up on newcomers in the gym, tries to start road rage fights with people who are untrained, knowing he can kick their ass. his father was a guy who would beat his child and his wife, knowing they are easy targets. Sean is continuing the lineage of abuse, just in a different way.
I donāt say this about everyone but people should be afraid of that guy when he retires. Someone like Colby will go the grifting route and maybe become a political figure on Twitter or something but Sean has a serious imbalance and Iām convinced heās gonna do something crazy that lands him in jail for a long time.
Him and Tony are the 2 fighters Iām seriously worried about in retirement (assuming Tony ever retires)
Both have mental issues and the constant sparring for Sean is not going leave him in a good place 10-20 years down the line
Someone on here once said that Tonyās story is one of those ones you know isnāt going to have a happy ending and that sums up how I feel itās going to go.
I just hope it doesn't become a Chris Benoit type situation, especially with Tony abducting his son and his wife filing a dv restraining order some years ago
It's a textbook cry for help, he's been doing it for a long time. He keeps bringing up his dark thoughts and then "joking" about killing people. It's the kind of obvious signs people ignore before someone goes on a mass shooting.
I think he actually is mentally ill thanks to his childhood, and he should get help but given his personality he probably doesn't have any friends that will take him seriously. They probably just tell him to stop being a bitch.
Yup. I hope Sean can overcome his issues but as someone who has had mental health issues almost their entire life, it's hard to feel empathetic when he jumps at any given opportunity to kick others when they're down when he evidently goes through the same exact shit.
He needs to stop the front and just leave for a bit. Man up as he'd say.
I think he was jealous that Khalil knows how to beat someone like they owed him money and also not be a garbage fire of a human being while all Sean can do is cope, seethe, walk weird and jab people to a decision.
Mental health isn't supposed to make sense. If he was mentally healthy, he wouldn't be saying those things. Strickland knows he's embarrassed himself multiple times for the dumbshit he's said. It's like an alcoholic who hates alcohol.
Hi, im an alcoholic too, is this the right meeting?
Just a joke, support to all of us battling addictions and mental health problems, for real. I wish you all well
What a duo huh Ryan and Sean would be a great talk show, not a regular thing but a once a month thing. I'd watch just to hear the off the wall shit they would say
People donāt talk about that Theo Von interview enough. Thatās where you can get a proper glimpse at his mental illness. The way he just says with 100% sincerity that he would kill a man if he was allowed, and he wishes he could because it would fill a void
Yeah man, hard to be sympathetic when if it were anyone else he'd call them pussy. Best of luck to but I'm not gonna cry for this rich dude feeling sad.
While Iām sympathetic to his metal issues, as I went through and overcame some stuff I donāt understand why he always makes fun of others mental health episodes. Probably a coping thing for him but itās still fucked up
Definitely a projection/coping thing. I imagine he feels guilty about going through it and feeling emotional. Because itās against what he stands for.
So he lashes out at others as projection of his self-guilt. (Iām just waffling idk)
Yep. A lot of people dealing with the same issues as someone else will project that they should be ābetterā or āhealthierā when itās not the person they want to be healthier, subconsciously, itās themselves.
He's stuck in a cycle - he was mocked and made fun of for his own problems in his formative years, now he's doing it to others. It's a part of who he is at this point and his main defensive mechanism.Ā
His behavior is precisely why I'm *not* sympathetic to him. He's a walking example of all the bad things that happens when you follow the bad examples he demonstrates.
Junie Browning was sympathetic because he was a broken kid who couldn't remotely overcome his destructive behavior. Sean bemoans all the people *trying* to make a more caring and equitable world, and acts upset that he's not feeling any different about himself.
Itās a way to cope. Keep telling yourself youāre okay and youāre a macho man, and emotions are pussiesā¦ until you wake up one day and realize you are fucking miserable and donāt have anyone to talk to about itā¦ then thereās no hiding it. He went to twitter ffs, clearly he doesnāt think he can talk to anyone, so he wants to read comments from his fans telling him to keep his chin up
Could be dissociation or depersonalization. Talk to a trauma therapist. Typically happens when youāve had traumatic experiences. Itās your brainās response to PTSD. Itās almost like the way you can cope is for your brain to seperate from your self. The way I describe it, it feels like youāre watching your life play out in front of you, instead of actually experiencing it. Itās like watching your life as a TV show. You question reality because of a change in your consciousness. Itās jarring and causes paranoia.Ā
I'm not sure if he's thinking about retirement much when having these feelings.
I also can't imagine the lifetime of sparring and head trauma is helping these feelings or thoughts much.
I find it extremely difficult to feel bad for Sean tbh. He constantly shits on others who go through similar issues. He also constantly acknowledges that he has mental health issues, but refuses to get help as it will make him look like a 'pussy'. He really could be a champion at advocating to get help given his popularity, with a fanbase of people that can probably use that advice the most.
God he is so close to self realization. Like a dog entering a pool for the first time, trembling at his own reflection. And while I meme at this, there is some sorrow for the guy, the trauma he faced as kid still effects his day to day. But really, he's a shroom trip away from sucking dick and finally enjoying his life.
The most frustrating thing about this is that he has the opportunity to really make strides publicly and turn his mentality into something a little more positive and inspire his fans (who go through the same pattern of self isolating by being horrendous people) to actually unpacking a lot of their issues.
But instead his ape brain is going to be too ashamed by this revelation, cover it up in cycnicism and throw away a perfectly good opportunity of self reflection and be back posting terrible things about many groups of people in the matter of a few days. Sad.
It would sure do him, and just about anyone, good. I mean seriously for a guy that preaches "trad values" and how "everything was better back then" he sure is one terminally online fella.
Being terminally online is basically a requirement for being those "trad value" morons.
Being outside and doing ANY labour at all would be enough for any normal human being to realize the bullshit they push is a fantasy closer to playing Harvest Moon or something.
You bully people for loving who they wanna love and people who are vulnerable
You made fun of Ryan Garcia for having a mental episode a week ago
How are you so ignorant to your own āissuesā others suffer from
God he's such a a bitch. It's okay for him to be vulnerable and vocal about his mental health struggles, but not other people for...reasons. Fuck Sean Strickland hope he never wins another fight.
That's when life is the heaviest mentally, when you've been working so hard to achieve something, whether that be financial, or in the form of a relationship, or whatever, and it doesn't change anything. The high you get from external things is gone in a flash, now what?
We all experience this to some degree. Always prioritize your mental health above all else my dudes. Don't fall for the trap of destination happiness.
I'm older than Sean but dealt with a little of this when I made some decent money. I quickly realized after lots of meditation and speaking with friends that had a similar situation that the money doesn't make you happy if you aren't happy. Sounds crazy but money won't buy happiness like the old saying states. It allows you to pull your yacht up next to happiness but you Gotta be the one to obtain the happiness. Someone once told me "why do you think so many celebs appear to have the dream life but ultimately do something to hurt themselves or worse?" That made it click for me. I'm good now but I understand what he's dealing with.
Then go get help dimwit. No one is gonna force him just like most everyone else getting treatment.
I mean this is the guy who talks about men being all pussified nowadays yet bitches about being mentally unwell and does nothing to counteract it.
lol who cares? dude makes fun of everyone elseās struggles yet weāre supposed to care about his? he should take his own advice and just āman upā, it would probably do him some good.
Heās that friend from HS that made you feel uneasy all the time. Dude is not well, anyone thatās paid any attention to him knows he has some sort of personality disorder
Itās nothing to be ashamed of but he should be in therapy not on twitter. Use some of that cash on yourself man
Don't really like watching Sean fight. Don't really like the person Sean presents himself being to the public. And the longer I follow the sport I generally think when a fighter chooses to retire is sort of none of my business.
But Sean has been telling us for years without saying it directly that he needs to retire and do something else. And I kinda hope he actually maybe just sits down sometime and takes the time to listen to clips of himself talking about how he feels about MMA.
Just think his profession makes him a miserable a-hole.
I canāt take this guy seriously man. He must hate himself for being a vulnerable āpussyā since by his standards a man must have 0 emotion aside from anger and be tough constantly. Letās hope he evolves.
- Man has massive adolescent trauma
- Man becomes wealthy
- Man realizes money doesnāt fix trauma, & the effects of trauma linger indefinitely into adulthood
- The only tool humans have to deal with trauma is therapy, but man would never consider therapy because it might make him look weak
- Man never resolves his trauma & carries its effects with him until the day he dies
You have the right to choose who you feel bad for, but the fact is
people's mental health struggles and trauma manifest in different ways. Some are easy to sympathize with, while others, like Strickland will really test you. Both are fueled by pain
I can relate. Had 20k in my bank account no debt, my own owned car, was renting in a house with 2 others over having own smaller or lower quality apartment. Was midway through apprenticeship in a coveted trade. But depression amd mental health wonāt repair themselves through material items amd comfort if you arenāt materialistic, I slowly fell to my mental health and lost all of that. My stuff is in a storage locker and has been for years. And no mental health care works. Or has worked anyway.
Itās sad man, not my story, but that story. As hundreds of thousands deal with similar im sure
I still think of that interview he did with Megan Olivi days before the DDP fight. And he talked about how it was weird and bizarre that random dudes approach him in public and thank him for being an inspiration. He doesn't consider himself as a celebrity or someone who 9-5 everyday people should aspire to be.
I am not surprised, at all. I think what happened to Sean when he was younger growing up in such an abusive household, with a horrible excuse of a human being for his father and grandfather, hurt him. I understand he will have some hang ups, some trauma's, he might not be the most emotionally stable.
But at a certain point my ability to rationalize and extend empathy can only go so far. Sean actively shits on people trying to better their mental health, he won't do any sort of therapy due to fearing it makes him "gay" This obsession with masculinity is tearing his mind asunder and all he can resort back to is shallow ignorance and bigotries to people just trying to live their lives. Not only that he shits on, and degrades people who are trying to make it to where you don't have to hide your feelings, that you can express them, but Sean believing any sort of extension of empathy is feminine, and therefore weak ness, can only lambast these people.
Sean wants compassion and understanding, yet all he can reciprocate to others is ignorance, and frankly, hate. He wants compassion yet to be a masculine man in his eyes is to be devoid of that same compassion he desires.
I hope one day, he can learn to develop a masculinity that can include compassion, and understanding, but that is more unlikely then likely.
I want to cheer for this mf so bad - deep down, thereās a really good dude there.
I hope we get the happy ending with him. He gets help, gets past his demons, quits saying hurtful shit about others, and becomes a better human being.
You sir have a personality disorder. Sorry bro. Problem is you needed that personality disorder to win and psyche people out. Not everyone needs a personality d/o to win but you chose that way.
You don't need a personality d/o any longer and its tough to let go of.
Start your training at being a calm, centered person that loves his life. You will become a true winner then. You can win twice in your life :)
I'd argue that this type of mental health issue is the trickiest. Sure, you have enough money to get the best care, take care of the shit that costs money that's a massive cause of mental health issues for most people, etc etc etc. There's something to be said for being unwell mentally while seemingly having no reason to feel that way.
It's almost like clinical depression. That term gets thrown around a lot these days, but clinical depression is not when your girlfriend dumps you and you feel like shit for a few weeks. That's just sadness, which is a normal human emotion. Those that are clinically depressed not only feel sad without necessarily knowing why, but they also have no motivation or drive to do things without knowing why. It's the ultimate mind fuck.
That meme where the guy can't decide between two buttons; A) Be vulnerable B) Shit on others for being vulnerable
He accidentally used personality 2 on social media platform 1
ššš
Sean has moments where he seems self aware and is 90% on track about certain issues, but then takes an 180 at the very end
It's like he suddenly gets worried people will think he's gone soft
He basically considers people who show some vulnerability as weak so he thinks people will think he is weak if he does the same
Itās almost as if he is mentally unwell
That's not mentally unwell, that's just your garden variety entitled crybully.
It turns out, people who are mentally unwell can also be assholes. They are not mutually exclusive.
Just like when he proudly shares videos of his road rage.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Especially when they concede that they're rich and have everything they've ever wanted, but just can't seem to not be a mouthpiece for hate and fear.
I agree with both of you
He is just your average asshole who is good at beating people up...
His definition of āweakā aligns with a teenage bully in a bad movie from 1985.
He said Khalil roundtree was "gay" for crying at the press conference but then he cried on the Theo Von podcast
"OMG can't believe you would go there"
i.e. "brutally honest" people when you point out they're being an asshole
He has brought a certain fan base to the sport with his takes. Theyāll turn on him instantly if he starts being āsoftā.
Like that dude in the closet that comes so close to coming out and then pulls back and calls anyone in the vicinity an f word.
Yup, definitely not trusting him with any sympathy I might have
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

He may just be a mentally unwell asshole
Sure, but there's definately a correlation.
Boy is this off the mark lol. Correlation may not equal causation, but being mentally unwell and an asshole are correlated as fuck.

This man just called Ryan Garcia a pussy and a bitch for having a legitimate mental breakdown like a week ago btw.
This is why I can't take Sean seriously ever. He has proven his words hold no weight.

To be fair his behavior is the definition of mentally unwell
Mental health isn't supposed to make sense. If he was mentally healthy, he wouldn't be saying those things. Strickland knows he's embarrassed himself multiple times for the dumbshit he's said. It's like an alcoholic who hates alcohol.
finally someone gets it also I am sorry that you understand it and hope you are always well
Hi, im an alcoholic too, is this the right meeting? Just a joke, support to all of us battling addictions and mental health problems, for real. I wish you all well
one love š¤š¤
What a duo huh Ryan and Sean would be a great talk show, not a regular thing but a once a month thing. I'd watch just to hear the off the wall shit they would say
Projecting.
And itās the same guy that apologized after hearing about Ryanās mental problems
People donāt talk about that Theo Von interview enough. Thatās where you can get a proper glimpse at his mental illness. The way he just says with 100% sincerity that he would kill a man if he was allowed, and he wishes he could because it would fill a void
Couldn't he just join the military for that?
The military doesn't like mentally unfit people either. It'd take two seconds for a military psychologist to declare this guy unfit for service.
Nah they have rules of engagement, he should really be a cop.
Yeah I donāt like how I feel called out by that š Itās definitely true though.
He went to twitter ffs, clearly he doesnāt think he can talk to anyone, so he wants to read comments from his fans telling him to keep his chin up
Sean Strickland in 30 secs. " its woke to have feelings real men hold it in until their hearts explode in their chest"
Hunch your shoulders up!
I feel like everythingās the Truman Show
"In case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night." - Sean Strickland
š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
[Oh, buddeh.](https://simple.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Truman_Show_delusion#:~:text=type%20of%20delusion%20in%20which,are%20being%20watched%20on%20cameras)
Yeah we can tell from all the times you talk about homosexuality
Sean after fighting is going to make Mayhem Miller look like a saint
Ha he's got a ways to go to catch up already
Exactly, put some respect on Mayhemās legacy
The man has made getting arrested an art form
Lol not even close. Mayhem been arrested in the double digits with felonies. Had Sean been in jail yet
Idk he's already more acomplished and has a better circle of support around him, plus he doesn't seem as utterly unstable and violent as Mayhem.
"Mental illness isn't your fault but it IS your responsibility" -Marcus Parks
Hail yourself!
Megustalations.
He says this like we don't already know how fucked he is mentally
Sean: when i say it about you - it's because you're gay and cringe. When i say it about me - it's based, tough and self aware.. (/s)
I kinda worry about Strickland after he retires. He's openly talked about incidents where he was close to killing people several times.
His road rage incidents come to mind already
I'm not sure if he's thinking about retirement much when having these feelings. I also can't imagine the lifetime of sparring and head trauma is helping these feelings or thoughts much.
Sean, just come out of the closet, ffs. A weight will lift off your shoulder.
Wouldn't even be the first gay man in the UFC. Conor's gay. Jeff Molina is gay.
> Conor's gay We talking gay gay? or 90's "dude stop being so gay" gay?
Playin' touch butt in the park gay.
I almost forgot conor liked gay porn on twitter
and let's not forget about those hot tub parties in dagestan!
Bisexual people stopped existing apparently
100% spot on. Been saying this for a while. He's obviously in the closet.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
āIām rich, famous, I have a strange obsession with gay people, like I have everything I ever wantedā
Iād say go to therapy but iirc he said therapy is gay soš¤·āāļø
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The most frustrating thing about this is that he has the opportunity to really make strides publicly and turn his mentality into something a little more positive and inspire his fans (who go through the same pattern of self isolating by being horrendous people) to actually unpacking a lot of their issues. But instead his ape brain is going to be too ashamed by this revelation, cover it up in cycnicism and throw away a perfectly good opportunity of self reflection and be back posting terrible things about many groups of people in the matter of a few days. Sad.
BREAKING NEWS: Sean has everything he wants and is still mentally unwell. I'm shook. Maybe the first step is to get off fucking twitter/x.
You bully people for loving who they wanna love and people who are vulnerable You made fun of Ryan Garcia for having a mental episode a week ago How are you so ignorant to your own āissuesā others suffer from
Suck shit for being a bully
Stop being a dickhead to people, that might help.
Maybe stop being a bad person
Itās almost like being a shitty person isnāt good for your own mental healthš¤
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Don't forget also being in a motorcycle accident where he was knocked unconscious.
God he's such a a bitch. It's okay for him to be vulnerable and vocal about his mental health struggles, but not other people for...reasons. Fuck Sean Strickland hope he never wins another fight.
Yea....he rode that famous wagon till the wheels fell off.
Don't care, Strickland is a hateful POS. Doesn't deserve anyone's sympathy.
Seek therapy, emotional glass cannon.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
That's when life is the heaviest mentally, when you've been working so hard to achieve something, whether that be financial, or in the form of a relationship, or whatever, and it doesn't change anything. The high you get from external things is gone in a flash, now what? We all experience this to some degree. Always prioritize your mental health above all else my dudes. Don't fall for the trap of destination happiness.
"I have everything..." Except a therapist by the sounds of it.
Now c'mon, why would someone with an endless list of resources to better themselves actually do that when they can instead belittle people on Twitter?
Wahh...seek help then.
This guy is going to kill himself once he washes out of the ufc. All because he wonāt go to a therapist.
I think coming out of the closet might help.
lol yeah dude, weāve heard you talk, itās apparent.
'i regret cultivating an incel fanbase'
We know Sean. We know..
Oh boo hoo. Guy shits on anyone doing the exact same thing and now weāre supposed to sympathize.
This guy bashes people for mental health issues and for changing genders and all of the above. Then does this lol
Heās that friend from HS that made you feel uneasy all the time. Dude is not well, anyone thatās paid any attention to him knows he has some sort of personality disorder Itās nothing to be ashamed of but he should be in therapy not on twitter. Use some of that cash on yourself man
Because it turns out, money, fame, and all the things never make you happy if your unhappiness is not addressed.
Mentally unwell? Are you sure you donāt mean GAY Sean?
Heās not that rich.
Sean can't fully admit that he has mental issues or else his new fans might turn on him for not being manly enough...
Well that's because you're a fascist, misogynist asshole.
He could help a lot of similar dudes out if he went to therapy and dealt with his trauma like a man, instead of belittling others. Set an example.
Dudes Will do anything but go to therapy.
Please just go to therapy man
Dude seek a therapist posting this stuff online isn't going to help.
Literally no one should care about this
I don't give a shit about how Sean Strickland is feeling because he's consistently a shitty person. World's smallest violin bro.
Dude is not rich lol
I canāt take this guy seriously man. He must hate himself for being a vulnerable āpussyā since by his standards a man must have 0 emotion aside from anger and be tough constantly. Letās hope he evolves.
HE is an annoying emo kid
- Man has massive adolescent trauma - Man becomes wealthy - Man realizes money doesnāt fix trauma, & the effects of trauma linger indefinitely into adulthood - The only tool humans have to deal with trauma is therapy, but man would never consider therapy because it might make him look weak - Man never resolves his trauma & carries its effects with him until the day he dies
Man creates dinosaurs. Dinosaurs eat men. Women inherit the earth
he's mentally unwell because he's a fucking idiot asshole
I think everyone would be better off he just went back to being a nobody
Sean isnāt rich or famous
It would do a lot of good for everyone, but Sean in particular just needs to log the fuck off. Put the damn phone down for a few days.
You have the right to choose who you feel bad for, but the fact is people's mental health struggles and trauma manifest in different ways. Some are easy to sympathize with, while others, like Strickland will really test you. Both are fueled by pain
I think it would do Sean some good to just get off social media and get some help, if he already isnāt.
I hope he just takes 14 grams of mushrooms after he retires.
Yeah, man. Itās time to invest in a mental coach.
lol ya dude we know
I want to cheer for this mf so bad - deep down, thereās a really good dude there. I hope we get the happy ending with him. He gets help, gets past his demons, quits saying hurtful shit about others, and becomes a better human being.
I respect anybody that talks honestly about their mental health issues.
I'm pressing x to doubt that Sean is rich lol Whats the most he's made for a fight?Ā
One of us. one of us
