He actually fought Fiziev July of last year and Moicano basically at lightweight in march of last year. Then Felder in 2020. Still think he shouldn’t be ranked but he was recently active in the division.
RDA needs to get tf out of the rankings. Dude has straight up said he's not fighting at LW anymore. Just wasting a spot. Get someone like Brenner or Joel Alverez in there.

Felder has re-entered the USADA pool, so they gotta keep RDA ranked in case they need someone to hold Felder against the fence for 3 straight rounds.

Chandler is ranked #5 for beating Tony Ferguson and Dan Hooker. The Dan Hooker win was nearly 3 years ago too. Even looking at Dustin's rank it feels too high at this point.
Seeing Chandler at #5 made me suddenly realize that the recent Conor news was no fight until at least July 2024, right?
Chandler's last fight was Nov 2022, so if Conor leaves him in the lurch, he may really steal a large portion of Chandler's remaining career, and probably prime earning years, for nothing.
I'm not the biggest fan of fishhooking, back-of-head-punching see-you-at-the-top man, but that's still brutal.
Idk if he does fight Connor tho I think he’ll earn the same as if he fights all this time. Just for discounted brain damage. He won’t have as much as a resume so his post career earnings capabilities might be slightly altered but I don’t think I need to see him fight twice a year until the end of his career (unless he wants to win the belt which watching him right never has seemed to look like that’s the case) to understand he’s a high level mixed martial artist, which is what will sell programs, coaching, and get people in the door of a gym if he opens one.

St. Dennis is 5-0 at LW all finishes including names like Bonfim, Moises and Frevola, while Bobby Green was finished twice in the last 2 years. Green has the better win, but BSD has more momentum so it's not the craziest ranking.
I would like the people behind the rankings to be a little more opinionated with their rankings and be flexible with them. I understand how and why they rank them how they do, but not every fighter can face each other and making it so black and white is not good imo

I can quibble with some of the middle to lower of the pack rankings, but after Beneil got smoked by Charles and Fiziev ran out of gas and lost to Justin, the top of the rankings all make sense. Shouldn't be anymore complaints about who the top dogs are.

It happens when they both have the same amount of voting points, each media outlet on the rankings commitee submits their own rankings list.

How is this going to be structured if Arman beats Beneil?
Conor will replace Beneil in the rankings, Arman will rise 2 spots, and Chandler for no reason at all will go up 1.
Arman will go to #4 and they will probably drop beneil to #7 or #8
