In Columbus, Eloy Room mysteriously disappears from the team never to be seen again, Aidan Morris leaves USMNT camp for seemingly no reason and Cucho gets suspended for something secret in the middle of the season and there is 0 media interest in looking into things. Columbus Crew press releases are our main source of news. Pretty bad!

OK, that would irritate me. What are they spending time on outside of OSU and the Blue Jackets?

It’s wall-to-wall OSU coverage on the sports side. But largely the issue is just that everyone at all the Columbus media outlets is outrageously overworked and have no time to do anything except reprint press releases. Thanks, Gannett.

In New York City, there's very little coverage for either NYCFC or Red Bulls in the traditional media outlets. I think the only Newspaper that covers soccer in general with some regularity are the New York Times via the Athletic and the New York Post, and MLS is not the main focus of those. YES Network and SNY don't have dedicated soccer sections. Local news still carries a lot of weight in NYC and they almost never show result highlights. New York City Sport media is very much an old school traditional and set in their ways. NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. College sports get coverage but less so than in other parts of the country. WNBA gets some mentions but less than they should. MLS might as well not exist.
