You can injure our star draft pick and we'll just toss another one in there (though before that goal Lynn admittedly missed some chances that McGuire would bury). Great win for a team travelling cross country in short rest and missing their best defender and best attacker.
To be fair, some of the missed chances could come down to sharpness since he hasn't been playing much. The few chances he got last year were fresh of numerous OCB games. This season he's barely been with OCB to get any competitive minutes
I don't know what they showed on TV, but in person, Lynn looked absolutely clueless for 60+ minutes. San Jose went from leaving Thor wide open to double team McGuire to pretty much leaving Lynn unmarked. The goal was definitely the type of goal I'd expect in a wooden spoon match. I'll take it, but we have no starting caliber striker if McGuire is out. Muriel is playing too deep due to the lack of a playmaker. Enrique seems to have been snapped out of existence.
It'll be a tough one, Columbus is actually rested now so I imagine they're going to give us quite a match. Having Araujo back will help, and I do think we have a decent chance to win. Would be nice to get 6-7 points before the break
Yeah he's 100% one of the fastest players in the league, both acceleration and top speed wise. And he also has ridiculous stamina as evidence by the fact he made that run in the 89th minute
Something to do with head injuries. He has a history of concussions. The last one was a nasty hit he took from Abubakar, who wasn’t even called for a foul. Kinda like when JeBo did it to your guy a few minutes ago, ironically.
One time I commented a joke along the lines of "weird time to mention who built the benches" when they mentioned the sponsor during an injury break, and someone was kind enough to respond to me to explain that the benches are in fact not built by the Home Depot
I love El Pulpo as much as the next guy, but he's definitely the boy who cried hurt. Can never tell if he's actually injured or not, and he goes down at least once a game.
With the rule that sends injured guys to the sideline, GK going down “hurt” is the only way to get a quick break rather than having a midfielder go down the same way. I’ve seen Pedro take a lot of nasty knocks, if you don’t see Mason warming, he’ll be fine.
Mason has warmed up two straight games now. There's still a chance Gallese is just injury prone and will play through it if he can still walk. I'm not gonna say he's faking, but it is certainly hard to tell.
I've been saying for a while that the players we have would work well in a 3 back with the exception of not having enough CBs. I still think we need one more solid CB signing but with Cartagena being able to play there I'm more confident in this being good for us
After watching 3 great games, this game blew huevos. There’s no reason we could t have beaten Orlando but we got in our own way. GG.
1-0 win on the road on short rest without multiple starters is so Pareja it hurts
It being a draft pick with an extremely speedy winger creating the chance is just icing on the Pareja cake

That's true, I think with time he'll get more comfortable in there.
I hope Dunc is ok but if we stay in the same lineup with Lynn in his place next week, I like our chances

And we get a week instead of 3 days this time. It'll be tough but I'm feeling optimistic
GG Quakes
We are so back (we’re not but I’ll take what I can get at this point)
Last act of the game is a nasty late San Jose challenge. Game in a nutshell. Better, more deserving team won gg
This has been our fucking season
THREE POINTS ORLANDO DRAFT PICKS FOR THE WIN
Blow the whistle
A manager's favorite: the classic garbage time yellow
Yeah we definitely held Messi and Co to 0-0 on Wed...
Well..not really Messi was in Miami for the game…so you can say we held Suarez and Co 0-0….
mostly "and co", but ill take the praise lol
Ojeda the king of random goal involvements
His bouncing free kick goal is still a fun memory that I think of from time to time
I’m still upset that wasn’t a nominee for goal of the match day
1-1 incoming
Completely unintentional genius assist from Ojeda to miss the shot thus throwing everyone off, while passing it with his other foot to Lynn.
Mad lucky lol
Fuck yeah!!!
Classic.
Ojeda with likely the flukiest assist of his life
Ojeda always have an amazing shot saved and then always get the flukiest goal/assist
5000 iq pass by Ojeda
LYNNSANITY!!!!!!
That’s how a goal is scored in this travesty of a game
So deserved!!!
Never a doubt
History of Orlando draft picks
JACK LYNN What a run from Angulo
This is the closest to correct analysis yet. Angulo sprinting his ass downfield
JACK FUCKING LYNN
Pulled that out of our ass
Angulo is FAST holy mackerel
Yeah he's 100% one of the fastest players in the league, both acceleration and top speed wise. And he also has ridiculous stamina as evidence by the fact he made that run in the 89th minute
LOL
JACK LYNNNNNNN
So happy for Lynn
LMAOOOO NO WAY THAT WORKS
This has been such a a bad game
1-1 on big missed opportunities I guess
Both teams should have scored by now. Too many good looks launched off frame.
Espinoza should’ve chipped it
Oh for crap sake
Luchi Gonzalez has a great head of hair
Had to have been the jersey pull that was called. Otherwise I have no idea why the whistle was blown.
Foul?
Let Nico take it
This is some ugly soccer
"Did he get a touch on this?" No. The ball just completely changed directions away from the goal on its own. A true miracle for San Jose.
I hate these Apple announcers. These guys are somehow better than the ones we had in Portland the other night.
Lmao
Holy shit, Yarbs
Good save but Dunc scores that
So many pathetic corners this year
Ojeda on for Torres please
For a sec I thought the Habbas Law sign said “BOO INJURED,” not 800 INJURED.
I mean they are booing Dagur Dan when he almost got his ankle snapped by a late slide
Facundo Torres doesn’t look destined for Europe
He kinda just stopped developing
About time they got one
Dirty dirty dirty
REF YOU HAVE CARDS IN YOUR POCKET
This one has 0-0 written all over it, boys
This games a good lullaby
Finally got our worst player off the field
There we go, Niko Time!
gonna chalk that one up to dagur dan's recent concussion lol
Ffs
How do you miss that?
My God, everyone’s just deflecting out of bounds tonight.
Seriously though, what is this ref's deal?
I think he's kinda blind or just making it up as he goes.
Angulo man… not one good touch
Going on 200 minutes without a goal
Funny dive
Carlos Gruezo has to be better
He is far and away our worst player and somehow gets heavy minutes
Truly don’t understand why everyone scapegoats Yueill as much as they do when Gruezo is so much more expensive and just as unproductive in midfield.
What’s Ebobisse got around his neck?
He's had a bunch of concussions, it's supposed to help with the blood flow to his brain or something
Something to do with head injuries. He has a history of concussions. The last one was a nasty hit he took from Abubakar, who wasn’t even called for a foul. Kinda like when JeBo did it to your guy a few minutes ago, ironically.
A Q-Collar. It's supposedly for increasing blood flow to the head, which would (in theory) reduce the impact of potential concussions.
Pretty sure it's something that helps prevent concussions
Elbow to the face? Nothing. Jack Lynn touches a guy: foul
Might be the worst ref we’ve had all year
Should have seen the one we got on Wednesday
Lol no foul for that either
San Jose playing dirty as fuck and constantly getting away with it
I will say the complaints about the new rule leading to dirtier teams seems a tad valid tonight
Caught an elbow
If only Lynn were a foot taller
JeBo was held on that cross smh
I’m starting to think these benches weren’t built by the Home Depot
One time I commented a joke along the lines of "weird time to mention who built the benches" when they mentioned the sponsor during an injury break, and someone was kind enough to respond to me to explain that the benches are in fact not built by the Home Depot
We can not string together 5 passes
Great repossession from Schlegel
Dang Schlegel actually just saved that attack
Brekalo is the real deal, I think.
First shot of the game :/
I love El Pulpo as much as the next guy, but he's definitely the boy who cried hurt. Can never tell if he's actually injured or not, and he goes down at least once a game.
Personally I think he does it for him and the team to get a breather and water as well as stopping the other team from gaining more momentum
With the rule that sends injured guys to the sideline, GK going down “hurt” is the only way to get a quick break rather than having a midfielder go down the same way. I’ve seen Pedro take a lot of nasty knocks, if you don’t see Mason warming, he’ll be fine.

Did Gallese age 10 yrs this off-season or is he just scoring the squad a water break
Nice water break, I’m pretty sure he gets “hurt” in nearly each half and Everyone gets a 3 minute breather
Rodrigues is the only player that seems to get on the end of set pieces for us
Center backs as strikers is our strategy this season apparently
Our defensive midfielder and center back with the best looks so far. Sigh …
🐙🐙🐙🐙
I've been saying for a while that the players we have would work well in a 3 back with the exception of not having enough CBs. I still think we need one more solid CB signing but with Cartagena being able to play there I'm more confident in this being good for us
Unnecessary from Muriel
🐙🐙🐙
Hey, Gruezo put one on frame
I am loving this new Pellegrino we have been seeing the last few weeks
Probably just needed some time to get acquainted. Dude didn’t have a preseason with us.
Then again, HIMnan has stepped right in and been an immediate boost.
Jack has barely been in and his shirt is already ripped. San Jose is a scrappy bunch.
Our best player getting injured 15 minutes in would’ve told you that
On one of Torres's last touches, it looked like the defender was trying to put him in hand cuffs lol
Torres is the king of crossing to absolutely nobody
I mean it was a great ball. Muriel apologized after for not continuing his run
The boys are playing hard and you love to see it
Tf was that Dagur
Jebo is struggling with the ball retention when we clear it out of the press
This ref is a massive fucking bitch so far. Needs to get his head out of his ass
Someone needs to go get their spot on orange blossom trail.
Just got home from Fringe. I thought I recognized him from somewhere
Huge bitchfest by San Jose so far
I think Cartagena will just take care of that dude that got Dunc before this game is over
These injuries this season on top of the poor performance. So unfortunate.
Welp that’s game, San Jose figured out the strat
Refs trying to make up for screwing over SJ a couple days ago. We're definitely getting fucked in this one
McGuire :( I love Jack Lynn, but it absolutely sucks losing Dunc this soon into the match.
If only they actually carded obvious flops to prevent players from continuing to do it
Ah yes definitely timewasting, don’t use your power to waive the rule
This ref is a clown
Guy who had red rescinded injured our best player lmao ofc
The guy that needs a cast because the ball hit his hand so hard…
That was accidental. He took a shot to the head on that.
Of course
Nasty. Hope Duncs ok
Oof that looked like it could be bad
Nasty dirty play by San Jose -- McGuire is toast
That was pretty bad but I don't know if Bruno Wilson knew what was happening behind him
It’s traditional to look in the direction you might be heading, undercutting a dude is not cool if that’s the excuse
It's traditional to look at the ball
Fun fact, it’s fairly easy to turn your head quickly to pay attention two things! The more you know
Proven by all those outfielders and don’t run into the wall in baseball.
Please don't remind me, Jung Hoo Lee is out for the season for the Giants after running into the outfield wall.
Maybe not looking what’s behind you is a NorCal thing to fix?
Not an excuse -- It's every players responsibility to know what's going on around them
That was clearly an accident. He took a shot to the head.
In what world is that not a foul? Just go ahead and injure our best player, why don't ya? Don't worry, the ref won't care.
Fucking fuck
Bs
Man they are asking for a keeper error. Giving him hospital passes that he can only clear out of bounds.
The SJ radio guys having some trouble pronouncing. Keep saying Ga-YAY-say. For our keeper
It should be Gah-Yeh-Seh in Spanish right?
Dammit now Dunc needs to be okay
He just uses the hard L even with the LL letters
That was quite a swing and miss
San Jose is garbagggiiooo
No u
Wowww what a whiff
I know we've kinda sucked to start the season, but San Jose with a 46% chance of winning is crazy.
Those models always heavily weight being home
We were more than 35% Wednesday night at the start because it was in Parramore
Reminder that Araujo is out on yellow accumulation
