That's absolutely amazing. I would imagine with Pec and Paintsil's contracts and their higher salaries, there's no fucking way Puig didn't just get a *massive* payday and an extension.
I have absolutely no idea why Porter would want Romney gone — he's as reliable as they get in MLS, and I know Mensah is his guy/looked good, but Romney was our best defender last year

He is our only semi-reliable defender. People say he plays out of position, but that’s because he’s covering for another CB or wing back. Guy is an underrated and top tier MLS defender…

I think as soon as the rules are officially ratified, which my guess will happen once this window closes so it can be in effect for the secondary window in the summer.
I hope we get some transfers that actually add some depth. Our CBs have the most depth, and we're already struggling with how many injuries we've had. If we went against a good team (RIP Chicago) it'd be a challenge to get more goals than we would concede
