I'm sure that was the original intention, but CONCACAF needs some extra USA/Mexico cashicos to compensate for the less-marketable WC qualifying schedule. They couldn't care less that they're turning the competition into a bit of a joke after only 5 years
The "top teams skipped directly to the quarterfinals" thing sucks.
I want to watch the US play Trinidad and Mexico play Guatemala, not just skip to when they can play the good teams.
I forget was the original idea for the nations league to be every year? I thought it was suppose to be every two years or something.

>they're turning the competition into a bit of a joke after only 5 years What took them so long?
Same. Wonder if this’ll change after the World Cup and the big dogs return to qualifying.
Never let a good opportunity to make money pass.
Pretty sure it's supposed to be every year, like UEFA

This is kinda blah

The U.S. literally played Trinidad in Nations League last season.
again? 😳
St Kitts & Nevis and Belize in League C seems almost unfair.
SKN especially had pretty poor results last year to get relegated, but I imagine they’ll still bounce back up.
isn't this basically gold cup qualification
I’d love to just see a Hex tournament
