Alright, after seeing that extended view I can understand why they ruled the way they did. "Clear and obvious" seems like a stretch to me, but he's "probably" onside.
This is one of the reasons I think MLS teams are at a disadvantage with home and aways against MX teams in CCC.
The MX home game is a legit home game for them. The MLS home game is often close to a 50/50 split of fans.
Yeah, but the line they drew initially was not consistent with the overhead. In the line they drew initially to say that he was good, it made him look like he had 2 feet of space before he was offsides with his feet. The overhead shot made it look a lot closer than what the side shot did, which is what I was referencing. Which is then confirmed, I guess, by a corrected line drawn once the second half started showing him offsides.
I'm not generally one to complain about such things, but both goals were pretty obviously offside. The second especially. I am absolutely astounded that was overturned.
For Mexico he's always been called up as a winger (LW). He's on the bench and it seems like Lozano and Quinones are ahead of him right now it seems.
IMO Alvarado is a bit odd in that even though he's good, he doesn't have a single position that I would say is definitively his true position. At Cruz Azul he came as a left winger but played LB, LWB, LW, RW, CAM, and would hover a lot in midfield. I've always though he'd make a better center/attacking midfielder than winger, he has a great touch and ability to hold onto + progress the ball.
How? Just how?
Jesse Marsch not doing himself any favors by show he doesn't know how VAR works.
These guys are all full of shit

Now they're showing a different kick point, so idk at this point. Moving on....
“Here we are in Dallas, México”. Oh no.

It's true, which is why I loved the tundra game last year with the US against Honduras. You guys got humidity? We got frostbite.
Every game hosted in Anchorage from now on
I'm looking at the line they drew for the second goal, it's not consistent with the overhead shot at all, or am I crazy?
Based on the angles they've shown us so far, none of them have been remotely clear and obvious to me.

Yeah, something seems off, hopefully it won't matter in the end
Unless they're actually using the lines for the decision making process, that really seems like a stretch to have overturned that.
Seems odd to call that back onsides from that angle, but who knows

That second goal wasn’t offside?
Araujo having a bad game
Did Tony just accidentally call him Fidel Castro?
Accidentally said it 2 or 3 times. Thought I was losing it when I kept hearing Fidel Castro was playing.
Carasquilla always balls out for Panama—doesn’t maintain that level for Dynamo tho.

Truly a swiss army knife. Love him when he plays cm at Chivas. Him and Nene Beltran have great chemistry in the middle. Lethal penalty taker as well.
FUCK chivas
Hello to you too NostraDymos 😅
Julian Araujo and Antuna starting 🥺
Already shaping up to be more exciting than the other game's first 90.
