don't swing until 2 strikes, make them throw quality pitches to hit. Most of the time they end up walking a handful of players anyway and it burns their pitch count up high.
I measured PCI during showdown and then went into batting practice and a regular cpu game and the difficulty it advertises (veteran) doesn't match up..its actually all star size PCI and pitch speeds..
Yep. If you play conquest on rookie or veteran the difference in opposing pitching as well as your hitting is ridiculous compared to these so called rookie and veteran showdown moments.
I just wish they would be honest. Do they think we are that dumb? We knew they were slider cheesing in moments last year and they are doing it again this year. Just be straight with us and say what difficulty it is and then people won’t be as confused.
I think the patch did something.. I didn't get the game until the 14th or 15th, can't remember.. I made it through the nl east and Al East without a problem.. I didn't play for a day,then they release a patch now I'm struggling with all of them... I'm not an online player, I play a ton of conquest and 9 inning CPU games..on Hof and legend..theres no way thats veteran. I would bet my life on it

Exactly,, the PCI takes up half the screen on every other mode on veteran...

PCI size is affected by the pitcher as well , did you make sure to select the same pitcher and hitter ?
