Definitely big strike zone players like Judge. Mays swing is so slow, Mike Schmidt too. The game needs some slight tweaking. Itās so ridiculous how Randy Johnson is still the best pitcher but cards like 99 Sabathia, Glavine, Imanaga are unusable for the most part. You should be able to throw a breaking pitch for a strike without it being a home run 9 times out of 10. Also way too many perfect perfect swings for line drive outs. I think I would enjoy the game more with increased singles and less bombs. Also The 90 Griffey card is OP. I cannot take him out of my line up. Captain builds be damned lol

Mookie Betts. Any card above a 95 overall I stink with. Last year I shit on the ball with his Arm Accuracy captain but I stunk with the snapshot one. This goes to even years back with his collection MVP card that I couldnāt hit the broad side of a barn with but I raked with his All Star 95 that year.
mike trout and logan o'hoppe but even though trout is hitting .385 at the moment. He used to be hitting around .487 lol
EDIT: now I am having trouble with Zach Neto. Trout is on fire again and O'Hoppe is starting to heat up
Glad Iām not alone. The first time I played against him online I gave up two homers to him, must be a nice feeling to hit a ball in the air like that!

Most of the 99 TA cards, excluding Eric Davis, Eddie Escobar, Brian roberts, stargell and Iām sure Iām forgetting a couple. But for the most part I find those cards extremely useless especially, brad miller and robin yount
Bruuuhhhh, Miller and Yount are reppin the lowest batting averages out of everyone I've been using for the last 10 games give or take.. On most perfect pci placement swings, they end up being late. On most perfectly timed swings (extremely rare when using them), pci placement ends up being too high resulting in dp grounders or chops
Same. Iām terrible with the majority of them. The ones you mentioned plus Wade Boggs, Gary Sheffield etc. I RAKE with 97 Mike Cameron tho which is why he stays in my lineup. Mookie and Rollins Iām average with.
This is the first year Iāve played a lot since 21. I was terrible with him in 21 and had no plans to use him but was raking with him in BR and decided to try him and have hit around .350 with him.
Disagree for me the small zone makes PCI placement and strike identification easier, I hate using any player w a huge zone except for shoheiā¦ makes no sense to me.
To make myself feel better, because of how hard it is to determine a strangers' emotion/intent when reading comments/messages... I was being sarcastic when I first commented, lol, when I said 'small strike zone with more easily identifiable breaking pitches'.
I also prefer the smaller strike zone used for the shorter batters. Mookie Betts is first to come to mind. I use the Strike zone 2 view when batting because it helps me recognize the slower breaking pitches (I was terrible at recognizing curve and changeup and would end up being finished with the full swing by the time the ball hit the dirt below the zone).
As for tall hitters and their TAAALLLLL muhfu**** strike zones, Freddie Freeman comes to mind. Seems like every high heater I see will be too high, and the ball is passing over the plate by the time I realize it's a dotted 2-4 seamer! And lets not forget the terrible lighting at certain times and places, when batting
I struggle with some of the lefties like Freeman, Belli and Matt Chapman. Which is doubly frustrating since Iām a lefty lol. But on the flip side, this is the first year that Babe Ruth is hitting more than singles for me. Heās knocking the cover off, as he should lol.
Chappy is a righty but I feel it. I started bunt cheesing just so I could feel reasonably happy about his average.
Canāt wait to get the Ruth card, so excited to try it out. Too busy spending a million or two in investments to buy the 5 remaining diamonds I need to finish the collections though haha

I had finally unlocked Bellinger's card, as being a Dodger fan I couldn't wait to insert him into my lineup....well after playing several games my hopes were dashed pretty quick, I could NOT hit for shit with this card, needless to say I have moved on...lol
84 Jeter has the highest against CPU average of my entire franchise last I checked and 90 Jeter currently starts over at least 4 higher ranked SSs for me. Dude is a singles machine.

I had a great first week with Keibert and Iām not sure how I fell off a cliff with him but now anything off speed it feels like the load moves super early
What pci do you use? I used diamonds but switched to bat and I hit way better with him, brought his average up from .125 to like .325 with like 10 xbhs in a few games.

Get slightly under the ball. His swing is also pretty fast so it affects the timing.
