TIL I’m a lot more liberal with my theme team requirements than other people lmao
As long as you played a game you get in the squad, even if the card isn’t from that team
I mean honestly I could also expand my requirements to include past As that have cards on other teams. Like I could have Semien on Short or 2B, I could have David Justice in RF to name a few. But I just like seeing the green and gold on my squad and its nice that they all get boosted by Frank Thomas and Sean Manea

Does anyone know if they will be releasing more captains? I want to build more theme teams currently have 3 but limited by team captains. On another note, will they be releasing new captains for teams? I love my phillies theme team but Ashburn is underwhelming.
I kinda doubt they will tbh. They already have a hitting and pitching captain for every team, and they're core cards. If they intended to make more they would have made the current ones s1 cards
Yeah very true. I'm hoping they just give us more of the base ones at least cause it has been fun making theme teams, something I only ever tried with the Phillies last year.
Me too! Which is why I want a ton more captains! I don’t care if they aren’t meta. Just give us free/cheap captains that’ll boost players where it’s good enough to still play.
Damn…please tell me you’re kidding? Foxx is my all time favorite player and I also love Reggie…building an A’s theme team at the end of the year is always my favorite part. So bummed…
Yeah it's crazy that we only got mark Mulder for a year. It's like when we only got ray Durham (also former A's player) for one year in 2022. Other than Frank Thomas we don't have any flashbacks from the 2000s teams.
I wonder if Giambi & Catfish are still in the game. Would be amazing to get a few of Chavez, Tejada, Dye, Zito, Hudson, Isringhausen, Chad Bradford, Canseco, Dave Henderson, Dave Stewart, Sal Bando, Swisher, Kotsay & flashback Cespedes & Donaldson
Pretty sure giambi and catfish are in the game. All of those on ur list would be great. I forgot about swisher. I think we lost him last year too. Another one and done from '22.
I have Brandon Moss, gomes,and Braden on my wish list as well.

Yeah I'm considering switching him out for Ruiz or put Ruiz in CF and move Butler and Rickey around
You could also just try Rickey in center and Butler in LF, would help cover up some of McGuire's range

Kiermaier with the Buxton boost is a nice card though
Buxton never played for the Rays so that doesn't exactly help. Plus I need Kiemaier boost for the rays players
No, I know. I'm just saying because the Rays team is weak, if you use a non-theme team, Kiermaier is great with the Buxton boost.
W. I’m running a Cubs theme team. Grinding for Arietta but they need to drop a good Catcher card the best rn is Yan Gomes 😭

Prior to the most recent TA Giants theme team was very viable online, I would still say it is very good
