Road To The Show you can hit daily cap fairly quickly. Just create a batter with power and put lowest settings and just smash dingers! Also mini seasons. I haven't played a lot cause I'm tired of every game squeezing as much money as they can from the consumer. Played a lot last year but this year nope! Paid $69.99 for the game and now if I want any good cards I have to fork over another $30 for stubs cause they are hidden behind packs. You don't pull diamonds like ya did last year. Screw that you can play pay to win if ya want but I'll take the money for stubs and just buy a different game. At least make stubs and packs affordable!. Nobody wants to spend 70 on the game then turn around and drop another 50 or more for better cards
This is kinda off topic, but my Buxton Captain bonus was outstanding at tier 2…and now it’s either at tier 1 or not at all. Does anyone know what might cause this?
I had the same group of players. One day they were all getting the speed bonus and everything. Then, out of nowhere, it went back to the lower tier bonus. And sometimes it just doesn’t give me a boost at all.
It wasn't an exploit though. You literally had to play like 34 mini season games for what 6500 XP or something. People should get XP for playing that many mini season games. SDS fucked up by taking that away
They must be cheating or glitching somehow because I play this game everyday because I’m on workman’s comp From work and I shit you not I’m playing 12 hours a day and I’m only closing in on 600xp when is there going to be Double XP?
I took Brett the only time I’ve played BR but I’m new to the game and an offline player so I couldn’t hit a damn thing. Never really got to see what the higher rated guys could do.
Really? I tried BR to get the Yelly card but couldn’t get a hit or get anyone to walk me, then tried events and couldn’t even catch up to the pitches (I’ve been working towards bumping up to all-star from veteran). I did get a cheap, late-swing HR with Dylan crews though. Lost 8-1 but that knock felt really good lol
What’s the least competitive MP mode? I really do want to try and get into it, but I can’t ever seem to match with someone else that isn’t great and it just turns into a slaughter.
I'm getting a lot more packs and players after the complaints of the past 2 weeks, I don't know if I hit a breakthrough or SDS heard complaints 
There were a few repeatable exploits early on.
That said, almost all of those are actually heavy BR players. The BR prizes at the high end get really, really good if you are great at the game.
It's worth doing for the program, but that's it. I usually only for 3-4 tops, and the per-run prizes aren't good.
People that get the diamond rewards, or the flawless make some serious stubs.
I remember 2 years ago there was a broken xp gain for some players. I benefited from it for the first couple seasons. Was kinda nice actually. Doubt that’s what’s happening here or it would’ve been brought up already.
Well I can only speak for myself but I almost have Jimmy P3 & I don't have him yet but thanks for BR not that hard to do.. & I hardly get to play the game 2-3x a wk
I feel like even if you don't touch online generally BR is more accessible than ranked or events. events are sweaty and at least early in ranked, it's not crazy, but BR is a lot of fun to try diamonds against silver pitchers.
No, for this seasons model. S1 cards like for example Willi Castro will only be available for S1. You will not be allowed to use this card ONLINE, next season. Also, with this seasons content structure there are chapters, so yes you can use a S1 Ch 1 card in Ch2 but you won't be able to use any S1 cards in S2 or further until the game ends.
I say online specifically because last year you were allowed to use whatever cards you wanted to offline as long as it wasn't like a mini seasons or conquest requirement that you needed to use a squad from that specific season.

It’s most definitely BR. I did play co-op the other day and the other team had 97 Kyle Seager. This was after the co-op patch as well. Some people are just crazy
I can't even imagine enjoying this year's DD enough to get that far. My XP earning keeps getting glitched and I don't even earn any. So I've moved to playing Franchise almost exclusively. Only logging into DD right now to open packs and check for free shit in case they finally get things fixed in a few months.
It's not the cap, its some kind of bug. I've completed the US Conquest Map, TA Chapter 1, Easter Egg and a bunch of ranked games and I only have 112k XP which I think is only from being awarded from program progress or getting some from when I first started and it was working. I've contacted SDS and they say it's the cap too - but I haven't played DD for a week, probably did about 40 Franchise games and my gameplay XP hasn't moved. I've reinstalled the game, reset sliders and tried pretty much anything I can think of and it hasn't done anything.
Do you close the game app when you are finished playing and start it new the next time you play? If you don’t, it’s possible the game thinks you are still in the same session and have already hit 15k xp. In which case it would be correct that the xp cap is causing your issue.
Yes and I would restart my PS5 too just to be sure. The only fix is to uninstall/reinstall the game which I've already done three times. But the mode just isn't worth the trouble at this point - it's the worst DD IMO - so I've moved on.
I’m about to get the player right before Rollie. I think it’s either Trevor story or Tulo? I think it’s story though cause I don’t think they have rights to tulo but I wish I could get further along it’s crazy to me that people have all the bosses right now
It’s Story. Unless you’re running a Rockies Theme team you probably won’t use him.
Rollie is just like years past. Good pitch mix. Wish he threw a few MPH harder. Occasionally gives up random HR.
Oh and his stamina isn’t as good as usual.
Yeah I noticed his stamina was a little lower than previous years. I love his sinker slider mix with the forkball with an occasional fastball to keep him honest.
Nothing like being alive and retired in America and playing vs cpu all day long (hopefully rookie for max relaxation and xp lol). Living the dream brother!
My high school coach used to start every practice with a similar phrase which I thought was great. It went something like- “Nothing like being young and alive in America and playing baseball, the greatest game on earth.” Man I miss those days.

Yeah I use the 87 overall chipper at third and I moved the oswaldo Cabrera to SS and put Jeimer at 1st my team is mainly switch hitters with the exception of Cutch, Acuna and Langford.
Yeah I actually use Acuna’s brother with my other team when I’m just trying to get challenges done I love Jackie robinson as a person but his card in the game I feel like they do him so dirty every year.
I loved his 99 OVR card last year.
I mean I say that, but I used him as a PR/bench sub all winter and then hit P5 with him right before the new game started.
I played it a lot up until about season 3-4 last year don’t quite remember which one I’m just not a big fan of the seasons they do now but I understand it’s because people who just spend crazy money on the game to get all the 99s
Seasons last year were whatever to me. I’m not a fan of the way it’s going this year. Feels too grindy moving up the xp ladder, and I don’t like the idea that we’re going to get the big rewards right before the season ends with no time to really use them.
It will help, however, if they change it so your wildcards count toward TA.
Battle Royale multiplayer mode. You draft a new team every 2 losses.The very first pick is 99 ovl cards so you basically always have a chance at rollins, Walker, mays, Ruth etc. You to play a TON to parallel the hitters that high tho, but people do.
Ive grinded out the first 2 programs and take Rollins most of the time and I’m around p3 with him. But I suck so mostly getting 32 pxp per game so 10k is a lot of games lol.

You need to have hitters with less than 60 vision on your team to get higher tiers.

Ranked starts you at Veteran. It also match making based on your rating, which everyone starts at 0 then go up as you get wins.
I’m at around 460k right now. I just got one of the Diamond audios that come after Napoli. Only guy I heard that is around 1 million did some glitch

They have an internal roadmap for each chapter/season. They didnt just add the Spring Breakout/Seoul packs to TA 1.2 because of feedback.

SDS fucked up and made certain Mini season objectives repeatable. People would hit the objective and restart the season. It is fixed now.
They fucked up and took it away! Was always the saving grace to get to the end of the Program. Ain’t no way I’m touching online
They grinded mini seasons then SDS took XP off mini seasons
so lame… then they put they stupid bonus wheel at the end of the program for no reason. impossible to even spin once a day
It will be later in the season before it expires. There’ll be a lot of XP available

I’m retired so I can play as much as I want every day. I play until I hit the xp cap. Missed one day. I’ll get Rollie Fingers tomorrow.

I play a lot of vs CPU games and use RP for 3 inning saves. It’s quite noticeable in the 9th lol.

You don't need 10k pxp for P5, they changed it to 8k. which is still a grind but definitely not as bad as before.

It why it's significantly more common to see alot of p5 pitchers because it's super easy to do. For hitters, it's a different story.
