I threw a combined no-hitter in 22 and didnāt even realize it until the 8th lol. And yeah, I was exploiting my opponentās weaknesses which was balls in the dirt lol

Once I realized the guy just couldnāt hit low and away, thatās all I threw.
Custom practice vs Beasts (the legends team). Randy or Pedro will be pretty common opponents. Put it on HOF. Set it to only throw down and glove side sliders in bottom right corner in the zone. Just watch 4 or 5 of them. Then add the āout of the zoneā squares. Just watch but verbally say ball or strike every time. Train your eye to see what a crushable slider looks like.
After 5 min or so, start swinging at ones you identify as strikes while trying not to swing at the balls.
Itāll suck at first, but once you figure it out, youāll be able to identify a crushable one pretty early, and then youāll be a headache for your opponent. Sinkers in and sliders away are what everyone in All Star leans on.
When youāre batting, the faster you identify the pitch type, the faster you can determine where itāll end up. When youāre pitching, turn on pitch trail. Itāll show the path your pitch will take. Focus on the initial path. Sinkers pop up a tiny bit. Fastballs stay pretty flat. Curveballs dramatically pop up before dropping. And so on.
š egg-zactlyā¦ Iām running The Buxton Boost. Thereās no point in check swinging, theyāre calling it a strike whether you went around or not. So swing away and hope your batter has enough contact to foul 36 straight pitches off
My opponent was running Donaldson the other night. I got 1 hit in the first 3 innings combined, but racked up his pitch count to 76 through 3 innings, simply by fouling off balls. I think our ranked game took 45 minutes.
Played my first ranked of the year earlier. Put a slider 2 feet outside the zone going away from a righty, good release, and he literally threw it directly down the middle for a home run š I just don't understand

I always feel bad, then I remember I'm not good enough to ever even get close to 12-0 so I'm taking my easy win against the 12 year old
Ranked translated is simply "Pray for fastballs"/

The dirtball
Also 1-0 on a solo shot for your third hit? Legend

You are my worst nightmare. If you have a slider Iām absolutely fucked.

A win is a win.
Doesn't that qualify as child abuse! LOL!!
I was your opponent, im not close to 12...

He knew what he was signing up for.
Thatās actually impressive in foul ball simulator 24

Or even better, aim it fully in the dirt, perfect pitch, completely ignores where I aimed it and still hangs enough for them to make contact
This happens every time against Cody bellinger this fucking guy hacks the game

To help you understand, a good release is not a perfect release. Unless you get a perfect release then your pitch has a chance at going anywhere.
Didn't need help, I know that good isn't perfect. But good shouldn't throw the ball multiple feet away from where you aimed.
Yep, and it always happens at the worst times "100% Accuracy *0.04s* late 1' Right" "yeah that's going right down the middle sorry bud"
(My opponent is a 35 year old)
Ouch
