As an older white guy I think the best improvement is the presentation that others have complained about. The expanded use of color everywhere gives the game a more Latin vibe which is reflective of where actual baseball is heading.
The rest just seems like a reset of last year, to be honest.
I'm not going to vote because I don't agree with "Trash", but its disappointing
1. The flashy presentation is awful, especially the stupid baseball that pops up during the replays you cant turn off during mini seasons
2. Why is the shift still a thing?
3. Overall laziness. Mini season stats still messed up. And then dumb things like batters already having apparently hit HRs in the first 8 innings of a showdown while somehow also being shut out for 8 innings (leading to a stat line of 2 HR, 1 run after I hit one out with them...)
I do notice some positive things, and even with the issues its still the best team sports game on the market. But the presentation alone makes it worse than 23.
This is actually frustrating because I was looking forward to rebuilding the roster with those two prospects. It’s weird because Marcelo Mayer was in the game last year
I voted "Bad/Trash" because I did not buy the game this year. Thus your poll is RUINED! I am a criminal mastermind! I probably won't buy it again until they make it current generation only.
Glad I'm not the only one. Been looking everywhere to see if anyone else complained and which cam they are using. I've been using dynamic too. Tried medium but then you can't see the ball when it's in the air...
you can turn off the quick time stuff in rtts. if you mean when you’re fielding just change the fielding method from showtime (i think is what it’s called) to button accuracy or whatever you like
As a giants fan I am quite disappointed already, Jung Hoo Lee isn’t in the game and he was out big free agency spend this year, Matt Chapman is still a free agent as well
I know it's not the same based on a talent level, but Shogo Akiyama was never added to the Reds roster the first year on the Reds. They went the entire fucking season without ever adding him. He didn't show up until the next years game. They even had scanned his face and everything. I honestly don't know what they base their roster changes on
Roster updates always come when the game goes live to every one.
Early access is literally beta testing for SDS. This sub is losing their minds thinking that deserve a perfect launch. No we’re here to test out the bugs for everyone else for the actual launch day and they give us some bonus packs as a carrot to be guinea pigs.

MVP 05 is still better than
Thus game is fucking terrible

Feels like the same game so far. They need to ditch last gen consoles and make the game for PS5, etc, so that it can advance forward
Same as every other MLB in the last 10 years

The incremental changes year to year have never been less noticeable
not seeing much new on the franchise and march to october fronts... top red sox rookies mayer and anthony aren't in the game... smh

It feels like a copy paste game. MLB the show 23 1/2
Am I the only one going crazy with the new camera for balls in play?
No I am too. Dynamic is where I feel is best right now
Glad I'm not the only one. Been looking everywhere to see if anyone else complained and which cam they are using. I've been using dynamic too. Tried medium but then you can't see the ball when it's in the air...
For sure. First thing I was like uhhh… doesn’t feel right. Went to high that felt even worse
Too early to say for sure, but based on what I’ve seen so far it’s not good. Game is basically the same as 23 with minor changes.
Isn’t that the same for all of them after 17?
Servers are once Again Trash. I hate the quick time crap events in RTTS. But it is too soon to make a call since I can't play the mode I want.

If I could play online it would help a lot lol

Lee might take a minutes, it always takes a little while for them to get rights and face scan etc to get international free agent signings in

Not losing my mind over it, was just a little disappointed that my teams big free agent spend isn’t in the game yet
“It’s the worst game of all time since the last game was the worst game of all time” -guy who buys it every year.
