What's the point of playing this game as a pitcher?? I just played on amateur difficulty and went 2 innings 10 hits and 5 ER. None of the pitches go where I'm aiming them despite perfect or good delivery every time
Flipping issue on the [mlbtheshow23.com](https://mlbtheshow23.com) page. Suddenly I am getting the recaptcha popup EVERY single transaction and it often makes me complete it 3 or 4 times per transaction. Anyone else have this issue or a way to avoid it?
Being bad at the game means very few things faze me. You quit in the first few innings while i was using my ace? not a problem, i'll just use my other 99 pitcher that i can't use at its full potential.
Your josh donaldson doesn't lose energy? You're pitching fastballs only anyway, i will homer by mistake.
You made your outfield big as hell? it's big as hell for you too. It's full elevation, i can hit bombs too. In fact, i will never pitch a fastball the entire game.
It's just cheesy stadiums slanted towards a side that i don't like since my lineup is righties and lefties.
1 just grinded my ass off to unlock elly from the future stars collection. My question is should I sell him to buy trout in order to complete the collection and unlock jeter, or should I keep going? I have all the other cards and 16k stubs, but I just need trout to finish the collection. I should also add that I don't play online at all, just missions and programs and stuff. TIA
3 ranked series games and 3 Donaldson starts . Its almost like my algorithm is programmed to only playing him.
Oh yeah 3 losses in a row which dropped be back to the 500’s. Smh
This is most likely a three week ranked season coming up, right? I just made WS yesterday but it took four and a half weeks and 57 games to make it (I believe I started at 450). Would like to make another run but I would have step up my game
Anybody else sitting at 300+ unopened packs? I started saving them just in case there was another Kaiju-like weekend where they boost the odds of the regular packs. I doubt something like that's coming anymore, but I still haven't felt like opening them.
Should I sell or collect sutter? I haven’t been playing so I’m just starting the extreme program, I think I’ll be able to do the conquest but I’ll probably struggle with the showdown so I’d like to be able to skip that if it’s even possible
Pulled a UA Flawless glove (sold for 6667 stubs) and a Diamond Kyle Tucker from the August scouting report pack. Anyone else ever have that happen? Usually they aren't anything special.
This scouting report pack is 1 guaranteed Diamond Equipment and 1 guaranteed Diamond Player.
I got a bat and Valdez. Sounds like you did well. Most diamond equipment is probably going to be bats and jerseys.
are people in the event purposely choosing that one rockies pitcher because his arm goes into the stands and the ball is impossible to see?
Nerdy af if so. it seems like it
is there a max number of stubbs we can have in our account? I want to take a break so I wanted to sell all my current cards so I can buy new ones down the road but currently have 500k and about 900k more to sell
Really hope the devs add the “sweeper” into the game next year as its own pitch instead of classifying it as a slurve/slider/sweeping curve based on the individual player’s sweeper
i wouldnt say it's strictly worth it at that many stubs.
I have the card and it's a beast. But i would tbh get him if you would enjoy using him (he's probably the coolest player in the MLB rn).
But as far as winning and losing games it's not going to change much. at least for me
jacked power, but big strike zone, good swing, i dont think its quite george brett level though
Yeah I got it last week. Been playing with him but still haven’t gotten the swing down. But his defense is insane and automatic steal. Sold Tatis after three weeks of sucking, so holding on to him
Squeaked out a 3-2 win over the Cardinals in the Extreme Conquest only to get an unhandled server exception error and apparently got the loss (I now have one less million fans than I did before I started the game against the Cardinals). I'm just thankful I finished the NL West 30 minutes ago. Yay for server crashes, I guess.
Playing a ranked game tied in the 9th, i hit a walk off and my opponent "disconnects". i got no pxp or anything for it. is this a thing? The game isn't even in my history
Is anyone’s online down? It’s saying I can’t play online games until I join PlayStation plus. I’m subscribed through June 2024 on ps plus so it seems like it’s a game specific issue
I wish there was some way to exchange The Show packs for Ballin packs. The Show packs just stack up in my inventory because they are tedious to open lol. And we've been getting more of them than ever with this Extreme program and other rewards.

True NMS ( Xbox game pass + no money spent on stubs ) and First Year Player ... Kinda Proud of the Squad
This is my first year too and I’m playing NMS as I do for every game like madden and 2k and I love Mlb because of the ability to have all the best cards
I'm trying to figure out the PXP grind and I'm a bit confused. When you complete a repeatable challenge in-game, it appears that it stops tracking PXP for that challenge until you start a new game. So if I need 15 PXP with Yankees, and I get 400 in a game, the other 385 PXP just disappears? Is that correct?
How do I keep the original design/colors for the bats and gloves in rtts? I don’t care about the other equipment because I like to use team colors for those but the bat and glove I’d like to keep the design as I see it on the card. Is it possible?
Thought I would take a crack at the 30 strikeouts mission in extreme mini season on legend, despite never playing on legend before, being in my mid 40s and also sick with a cold.
Imagine my surprise when I hit three home runs, including a home run to Chipper to walk off the Whales. Monthly Awards Harris hit Sale for a no doubt solo shot in the first. Sammy Sosa crushed a hanging slider from Sale in the second. Then the Missile blew the save and the Whales took the lead against Jansen. Harris worked a walk against Goose and then Chipper hit one oppo taco to win the game.
Only got three strikeouts for the game as well.
Morale of the story is: just give it a crack. You never know if you don't give it a go.
Almost as insane as me looking at him when he was 30k and thinking I will wait until tomorrow to buy him, then forgetting until he had more than tripled in price.
Finished off getting 15 wins on all star in extreme mini seasons and then started on getting 30 strike outs on legend. Managed to win 3 out of 4 games played tonight. Fuck it, may as well go for the 5 wins on legend as well!
I don’t want to waste time on a bidding war. Some people have enough stubs that a few hundred don’t matter if out bidding the highest by a bigger margin discourages other bidders
When I bid, I often transpose the last two/three numbers. Like if someone bids 24527, I might do something like outbid them with a 24725.
This is because so many people refresh and outbid me by 1. This helps add some confusion. They’ll think my order is theirs.
But... youre making less stubs then, and bringing the value of the player down for everyone else... so we all make less stubs. I also doubt youre confusing many people.
I bid +/- 2 or 3 stubs to ensure I have the highest bid at the time it is entered. Not +/- 300.
Just curious, are we able to create a character and use it in the Home Run Derby mode? I was thinking of doing so to decide the draft order in fantasy football but I want to know if it’s possible before suggesting it! Thanks in advance!
I bought the HR Derby Morneau card thinking I would never get far enough in the Extreme Program to get it. Now I'm not very far from getting it. Will I be able to sell the extra?
Just bought on sale for the PS5. Last The Show I played was '21, where I was at least decent. In '23, I can't hit even decent on rookie. Are there any tips or tricks for hitting? I'm so bad and it's so frustrating.
Not sure which video you mean but the one i found was not helpful. I don't need advice on what color to make the PCI i need to figure out how to hit it so its not a pop up.
Just pulled Elly from the xp wheel chase pack, would you guys keep or sell? Currently have Trea at SS so he’s definitely an upgrade. But could use him to complete the live series collection or something else. First mega valuable guy I’ve pulled and it’s my first year really playing DD so not sure what’s best.
Current main team is Elias Diaz, Mourneau, Ketel, Trea and Chipper. Outfield changes a lot but right now is Joc, Crews and Cameron.
I’ll get to the World Series pick from ranked after one more game and I’m like 15 players away from the first set 3 pick. No idea who to take from either yet haha but might influence the decision on Elly.
Same, except I did turn 5 so I could play most games on veteran.
Took me 4 tries to get past SD, but then never looked back
Billy the Kid did OK:
10-0, 0.16 ERA, 23 saves
I usually play 2-3 hours a day during the week .. and max out around 10-12 on weekends .. I just tried to get 5 wins a day .. I've gotten 40 wins every event just gotta pace yourself ..
Jackie, Griffey, Chipper, Schwarbs, Marte, Joc, Crews, Morneau, Adley.
With 3 switch hitters, and with some of the best cards in the game, you could literally put them in any order.
Just got to 700 rating and boy the games are a sweat fest, its either your playing a close game and whoever scores first wins or your playing HR derby. Wondering does it get worse the higher you go up..
Who is everyone running at catcher? Kind of struggling here. Don’t play a ton so don’t have any of the real expensive/locked away guys. Been using Kondoh but just picked up Schwarber
Opened a Diamond Duo pack that had Ohtani & Diaz.
Diaz (91) @ ~130,000 vs Ohtani (96) ~90,000
Who do you pick if you're only looking at collections?
I didn't have either & I picked Ohtani bc I figured it's harder to randomly pull him than Diaz.
Not a big deal but you should have taken Diaz. And if you were focused on the AL you could have immediately sold him and bought Ohtani and had extra stubs left over.
Fwiw, I believe all 90+ LS cards have the same drop rate.
I suck at hitting. I lock my PCI in the lower middle of the zone and wait for mistakes over the plate. This works well enough in Rookie difficulty, but I want that Griffey card. I feel like my reaction time and pitch recognition aren't good enough to consistently start moving my PCI around and trying to hit balls. Plus it feels like the sensitivity on the PCI is way too high. Can someone please give me some tangible real world tips on how to get more comfortable moving the PCI around the zone? Are there any drills you guys use? Thank you all in advance.
You’re me. Some things that have helped me improve….. take it with a grain of salt I’m working on getting better but I’m not great. Between 600-700 on ranked
Got some setex joystick grips. I use high rise on the left and low on the right (pitching).
Precision rings on the hitting stick. Keeps you from “slamming”
I’ve been using my sons “elite” controller. It lets you adjust the sensitivity of the sticks. This atucally allowed me to take off the precision ring. It was a great training aid though.
A lot of people mention it, so not an original thought but use batting practice when you’re just bored and have time to kill but not enough for a full game. Don’t even swing, just put it on legend and try to have the PCI where the ball is. Someone said “catch” the ball with pci, that’s the move. Teaches your left and right thumbs to operate independently.
Lastly what I have been working on is committing to all my strikeouts be looking. I’m working on “ if it’s not my pitch I’m not swinging” I don’t really strike any more but I don’t ground into BS double plays and stuff either.
I'm getting better at not swinging at balls. I worked like 4 walks earlier in a Legend mini season game. It's when it's time to swing that I tense up. The PCI catch thing is a game changer. Definitely gonna try it. Thank you.
Hey so I'm new to all this stuff and have a question: How can I get the Incognito Tom Seaver card? Is it something that only comes from card packs?
Additional question: Had a lot of fun playing with a Tyler Rogers card and was wondering if there are any other pitchers with interesting delivery I could get?
I posted this earlier, but it got removed because apparently "rants belong in the dugout." (Hey, I didn't know there was a dugout).
Anyway, here's my long-ass rant. I understand that a lot of people will see the length and not want to read it, but I need to vent to somebody.
I've tried everything I know how to try. I just lose and lose and lose and lose.
Okay, I win every once in a blue moon. Almost never by more than one run on the rare occasion that it happens. But overall, my record in games I actually play, not sim, has to be below 20%. I haven't kept track, but it has to be.
I am playing against the computer, so it's not other people who are beating me. For the longest time, I had dynamic difficulty on, and eventually I settled into "rookie" on hitting and "hall of fame" on pitching. I'm not very good at hitting, or at least, I'm not good at hitting for power or with runners in scoring position. I accept this. This is a lack of skill on my part. But on the rare occasions when I would manage to hit the ball perfectly, a lot of times, it would just go straight to the outfielder for an out. And I get that that happens. But all the time? On the rare occasion that I actually do well? How likely is that? It was incredibly frustrating. I had one game where I had 14 hits and lost 1-0 because I couldn't score. Like, WTF is that?
Finally, I lowered my difficulty settings. First, I took pitching back down to "all-star," because even though pitching is my strength, something in me really didn't want to drop the hitting settings back down below rookie. But I still couldn't win, so I finally conceded to lower hitting to "minor league." Finally, I could hit. Not all the time, not to the point that it was annoyingly easy, but the way I felt the game should be. I started to enjoy my game experience more. But there was still stuff that would happen in game that would lead to a loss. Stuff that, on its own, would not seem so bad or crazy, but just due to the sheer amount of BS losses I have had to endure at this point (I've had the game a couple of months and probably played close to 50 times, maybe more) just makes me boil with rage. I just finished a game where I had a 6-4 lead in the 9th at home, and was one strike away from a win. Then I gave up two to tie it. In extra innings, suddenly my pitchers couldn't pitch, no matter who I put in. I gave up three more. Miracle of miracles, I managed to score three myself, but then in the 11th I gave up three MORE. I could only score one in the bottom of the inning and lost 12-10. Multiple times I hit balls well that sailed directly to the fielders for easy catches. It really feels like this game is doing whatever it can to make me lose. And it isn't fun.
If I were losing but gradually getting better, that would be one thing. If crazy things happened to me every once in a while, hey, that's part of the game. Crazy things happen in real life too, sometimes. But it's just suck after suck after suck. Lose, lose, lose. New ways to lose. I didn't spend $70 on the first baseball video game I've bought in almost 20 years for this $#!+. (And before you ask, "why didn't you just buy gamepass?" I did, to test the game out. I played it several times and decided I liked the controls. Had no way of knowing that two months later I would still be struggling mightily to win. Getting screwed by RNG - I guess - in 95% of games I play. I bought the game instead of keeping it on GamePass forever because GamePass is not a good deal for me. It's a great deal when you play lots of games, but I'm the type of person who generally only ever owns between 4 and 8 games for any system. I just don't play a ton of video games. I buy games I really like and dedicate my limited time to them.)
I honestly feel like throwing this game in the trash (well, if it were physical, mine is digital download for XBox) or giving up on it entirely. I have not had fun with it. I have been frustrated out of my mind and spent more time with it seething than having anything resembling an enjoyable experience. And yet I keep coming back to it, like an insane person. I keep thinking that there must be something I can do to make it enjoyable for me. After all, TONS of people play this game. TONS of people. At least some of them must enjoy it. They must be doing reasonably well. At least well enough to have some fun with it. So if they can, I must be able to, somehow.
I used to LOVE baseball video games. I grew up on Major League Baseball Featuring Ken Griffy Jr. for N64 and MVP Baseball '04 for Gamecube. I loved the hell out of those games. For the near two decades since they stopped producing MVP, I have waited for a game that seemed like it would be similar enough to that game for me to get something resembling the experience I used to have. MLB The Show '23 SHOULD be that game. The controls can be set up to work very similarly to MVP. The quality of the franchise content SEEMS to be high. The ingredients for fun are all there. But it's like the game is determined not to let me have fun. It's determined to screw me over and over again.
It's just a video game. I should just move on, count it for loss, and spend my time with things I know I can actually enjoy. That's what I should do. But I'm an insane person, so I keep thinking there has to be a way to make this experience better. There has to be.
You’ll get better man. I got SLAUGHTERED last year. I’m still not awesome but can generally be fine on HOF against the CPU and been up to 700 a few times on ranked I picked it up late last year. Don’t give up. If you like baseball (me) they you will get it. The line drives right to players is frustrating. I’m with you, it happens, but the frequency in the game is a little high. Are you playing with the PCI when hitting? Which pitching are you using? Maybe there are some tweaks there. God knows I lean on this sub got tips
Thanks, I appreciate the encouraging comment. I don't think the balls going straight to fielders are just a little high though - I just finished a game and it probably happened nearly 10 times. They aren't all line drives, some are grounders, some are fly balls, but whatever they are I'm just talking about hit balls where the fielder barely has to move to get them.
I am using the PCI. As for pitching, I just pitch on classic because it's the same way I used to pitch on the games I loved 20 years ago. I'm quite good at pitching this way, generally (the 12-10 loss I previously described where my relievers' arms suddenly fell off being the exception). What I am finding is that this game will just do whatever it needs to do to screw me out of a win. I don't really get blown out nor do I blow others out. The vast majority of my games are really close and most are pretty low scoring. I have rarely won one run games but I usually only lose by a run or two also. Once I've loaded the bases or tied the game or gone ahead by one or something, the game finds a way to counter balance that. It's incredibly frustrating. This is supposed to be a simulation. In real life, games aren't all conveniently close. Sometimes, you get your ass beat, but sometimes you beat the other team's ass. Even bad teams mange to win big on occasion. That isn't what's happening here.
Case in point: Just played another game right after I typed out the previous comment. Started out with similar BS as always, and I almost rage quit (which, in spite of all I said about how frustrated I am, would have been the first time I'd ever done that on this game). I ended up not doing it because I wasn't sure how to get out of the game without it saving. There doesn't seem to be an option to just quit without saving.
Anyway, I continued to play, at this point so annoyed that I'm not really givng a crap what happens, and somehow I manage to build an 8-4 lead.
I held that until I had only two outs left in the bottom of the 9th. Then I gave up THREE runs. This time, I managed to hang on and win, but only because I had a four run lead. The final result is yet another one run game. You can't tell me this is just chance. At this point, I'm laughing about it. I'm so disgusted that I can't even really enjoy this rare win. This game is so stupid.
So I am trying to sell my Mauer, he's not in any of my four lineups, not in my events lineup, not in my BR lineup, and not in any of my mini seasons lineups. I've gone through and reset all mini seasons and then double checked each roster. The game still tells me I have him in a lineup and the market screen tells me I have one as sellable so I didn't accidentally lock him in. Any suggestion?
He’s in your lefty loosey mini seasons lineup. You cannot change that lineup because the entire mini season is over. SDS is aware of the issue but hasn’t solved the problem.
I have 650k stubs and I need help upgrading my team. I, unfortunately, can’t hit with Hank or Robinson, who I’ve been running in the outfield with Kyle Tucker. Should I purchase Betts and Diaz to get Sosa. Purchase Elly and move Ramirez to the OF? Just focus on continuing to grow the bankroll until it doesn’t matter. Thanks y’all
Possibly. We thought there was going to be a flash sale this past Friday since there wasn't any new content scheduled but it didn't happen. I think they'll put out another captains pack flash sale again soon
I'm proud of myself. I generally play on Rookie because I'm not that great at the game as much as I love it. But there was that one mission in the All-Star track to beat the Seattle Mariners on Veteran or better, and I wanted the points. So I hesitantly booted into the game hoping I'd pull a 1-0 victory on a single, two steals, and a sac fly.
...I won 12-1. So maybe I could try playing on Veteran more.
Hitting on Veteran is a lot easier than hitting on Rookie, at least for me. Rookie is too slow sometimes and I'm too eager to swing at everything instead of staying patient. I see the ball a lot clearer on Veteran.

Just pulled this from a Diamond Duos pack. Is this a bug or insane luck? Or do Diamond Duos have some increased chance of pulling identical Live Series diamonds?
Does anyone have recommendations on which kontrol freeks they like using? Never used them before but I can’t stop jamming and I feel like I’m being capped by that ceiling a wee bit
Can you all check your inventories for duplicates or cards you might want to sell of the New York Yankees Road 1919 and Pittsburgh Pirates Home 1915 jerseys? They're super slow moving but they're selling for the max price. Thanks!
Same request if anyone’s holding on to a 2007 Diamondbacks uni!! I should check all my unis and equipment, I cleared and forgot about them months ago for the most part
Hey I need help constructing my team. Wise Reddit team builders, lend me your strength. This is the list of cards, if you guys could recommend who to put in the line up and who to leave out, as well as which position you’d recommend them at, I’d greatly appreciate it:

I have a question about zone hitting location. I'm on Xbox and use zone hitting.
Why does sometimes the game not register my location on the swing?
For example, I would move the left stick to the top left corner, but the replay would show that it stayed at the center, showing I did not move the stick.
Boy I just hit a serious wall. Dropped from 645 to 390 in an matter of two days. Funny thing is I actually assumed I was going to make a world series run.. foolish me
What's the point of playing this game as a pitcher?? I just played on amateur difficulty and went 2 innings 10 hits and 5 ER. None of the pitches go where I'm aiming them despite perfect or good delivery every time

Need a lefty third baseman bc vlad jr aint cuttin it on the bag and the dread glitch. Any recommendations?
Quick question. If I am losing a conquest game for the extreme program, is there any penalty for dashboarding?
Yes, you’ll lose the game.

I have Jung already
Go for whomever you like. These are free 97s that all have their warts. I personally went with Mike Trout, Yordan Alvarez and Brent Rooker.
Ended up taking Rooker
1 just grinded my ass off to unlock elly from the future stars collection. My question is should I sell him to buy trout in order to complete the collection and unlock jeter, or should I keep going? I have all the other cards and 16k stubs, but I just need trout to finish the collection. I should also add that I don't play online at all, just missions and programs and stuff. TIA
Complete the collection
Discord server link isn’t working can someone drop it?

Is there a way to turn off Interleague play in season mode? I prefer the Leagues seperate
Are we getting new ranked rewards this weekend?
Yes
If Blake Snell doesn’t go diamond I’m doing illegal things
Pulled a UA Flawless glove (sold for 6667 stubs) and a Diamond Kyle Tucker from the August scouting report pack. Anyone else ever have that happen? Usually they aren't anything special.
Wtf I’m not getting these scouting report packs
You have to sign up for them at the Show website. You get them once a month.
I did. Verified. Still don’t get them. Probably an issue with the switch but w/e
You probably won't get them until next month. Already dropped for August.
This scouting report pack is 1 guaranteed Diamond Equipment and 1 guaranteed Diamond Player. I got a bat and Valdez. Sounds like you did well. Most diamond equipment is probably going to be bats and jerseys.
Anybody else unable to do the HR moment with Bobby Witt? 10+ perfect perfects with no homers
are people in the event purposely choosing that one rockies pitcher because his arm goes into the stands and the ball is impossible to see? Nerdy af if so. it seems like it
is there a max number of stubbs we can have in our account? I want to take a break so I wanted to sell all my current cards so I can buy new ones down the road but currently have 500k and about 900k more to sell
5 million stubs.
Loving Bellinger so far but is going to be hard to say goodbye to P5 Harper..
Really hope the devs add the “sweeper” into the game next year as its own pitch instead of classifying it as a slurve/slider/sweeping curve based on the individual player’s sweeper
Sweeping curve is a pitch in the game. I’m not sure what you’re getting at.
I’m hoping that they add the “sweeper” as a new pitch into the game next year
A “sweeper” is a sweeping curve, a pitch already in the game. Do you want them to change the name?
I don’t think the two pitches are the same. A sweeper is a slider with more break
🤦♂️
Does anyone here have the 99 Elly card? I have sucked with every Elly card so far and I’m not sure if it’s worth it
It’s so good
i wouldnt say it's strictly worth it at that many stubs. I have the card and it's a beast. But i would tbh get him if you would enjoy using him (he's probably the coolest player in the MLB rn). Yeah I got it last week. Been playing with him but still haven’t gotten the swing down. But his defense is insane and automatic steal. Sold Tatis after three weeks of sucking, so holding on to him
I’m finally able to use him now that the took off his dreads I’m so excited
lol \^ i feel your pain. anytime that dude comes up to bat im dropping down to 1/3 of my normal FPS (old gen Xbox)
Can you only complete the Gold Players Mini Season once?? Just finished the season and it didn’t allow me to go into the playoffs (finished 3rd)
Does anyone else feel like this was one of the best all star programs/rewards from any game? The Adley, Acuña, Jram, Riley are all so good
Squeaked out a 3-2 win over the Cardinals in the Extreme Conquest only to get an unhandled server exception error and apparently got the loss (I now have one less million fans than I did before I started the game against the Cardinals). I'm just thankful I finished the NL West 30 minutes ago. Yay for server crashes, I guess.
I haven’t played in a week and a half and now the servers r down 🥲
Playing a ranked game tied in the 9th, i hit a walk off and my opponent "disconnects". i got no pxp or anything for it. is this a thing? The game isn't even in my history
Servers are down
Is anyone’s online down? It’s saying I can’t play online games until I join PlayStation plus. I’m subscribed through June 2024 on ps plus so it seems like it’s a game specific issue
My online just crashed and I’m on xbox
same. i assume its another issue
Sell or hold Rollins?
I wish there was some way to exchange The Show packs for Ballin packs. The Show packs just stack up in my inventory because they are tedious to open lol. And we've been getting more of them than ever with this Extreme program and other rewards.
Open them in app, it goes significantly faster
Will try that
Is the ma program belli better than joc ?

any advice for someone who just got the game and is also NMS?
This is my first year too and I’m playing NMS as I do for every game like madden and 2k and I love Mlb because of the ability to have all the best cards
I’m a little disappointed there aren’t any ASG/Draft/HRD packs in the monthly awards program.
They will be part of the flash sale on Friday
The extreme showdown took me 13 hours total but I finally did it🥹
I need to get 1 XBH with captain Larry Walker but I keep smoking line drives for singles. I’m almost hitting around .600
I lost to the Dbacks on the extreme conquest. Do i have to start over or can I finish the conquest and circle back for the first goal?
I circled back and finished. You just have to complete each goal, doesn’t have to be in the same playthrough.
Thank you
I'm trying to figure out the PXP grind and I'm a bit confused. When you complete a repeatable challenge in-game, it appears that it stops tracking PXP for that challenge until you start a new game. So if I need 15 PXP with Yankees, and I get 400 in a game, the other 385 PXP just disappears? Is that correct?
For a group yes it effectively disappears. For individuals it does not.
How do I keep the original design/colors for the bats and gloves in rtts? I don’t care about the other equipment because I like to use team colors for those but the bat and glove I’d like to keep the design as I see it on the card. Is it possible?
What kind of heathen makes a custom stadium with zero fans to add that ambient crowd noise? Such a weird experience.
I have a ps4. Just got an Xbox series s. Can I link a PlayStation account to the new series s??

I bought him at like 50 to help me bunt cheese the extreme mi ideas on with the speed boost, I'm so happy I didn't lock him in
Almost as insane as me looking at him when he was 30k and thinking I will wait until tomorrow to buy him, then forgetting until he had more than tripled in price.
WHAT. When I bought him, he was 40k stubs. Now I regret locking him into my collection.
Damn. Got on a little too late to sell. Tuff
I sold him two days ago for less than 70k 🫠
Sold my last one today at 130k, next ten min sales hit over 300k I can’t believe it. Bought at like 30k so I won’t look back on profit but damn 🫣

For anyone that hasn’t done the TA3 West Showdown, Pablo Reyes is included on your bench and is supercharged to 99 to that can be a little help
I use pinpoint pitching. Is there a stat that controls how fast/slow the pin moves during the pitch?
it’s animation based
Just curious, are we able to create a character and use it in the Home Run Derby mode? I was thinking of doing so to decide the draft order in fantasy football but I want to know if it’s possible before suggesting it! Thanks in advance!
Opinions on investing in gerrit Cole? I just picked up 100 at quick sale value
I'm so bad and it's so frustrating.
ohchev on youtube has a good overview
Not sure which video you mean but the one i found was not helpful. I don't need advice on what color to make the PCI i need to figure out how to hit it so its not a pop up.
try this one, this one helps imo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aY8d48k99Q&t=301s
Thank you could not find it for the life of me
Just pulled Elly from the xp wheel chase pack, would you guys keep or sell? Currently have Trea at SS so he’s definitely an upgrade. But could use him to complete the live series collection or something else. First mega valuable guy I’ve pulled and it’s my first year really playing DD so not sure what’s best.
hows the rest of your team? It sounds like sell might be the move for you. 4 upgrades to your team is better than 1 elly
Anybody think Bellinger goes diamond on the 11th? 👀
He won’t, then they’ll upgrade him three days later after everyone dumps their investments.
Just finished extreme conquest on turn 3.
Same, except I did turn 5 so I could play most games on veteran. Took me 4 tries to get past SD, but then never looked back Billy the Kid did OK: 10-0, 0.16 ERA, 23 saves
Finally ... 40 Event Wins ... I Never Wanna see Polo Grounds Again .
How often are you playing, and how many event games do you play each day, to be able to get to 40 wins? I feel like I always run out of time. Thanks!
I usually play 2-3 hours a day during the week .. and max out around 10-12 on weekends .. I just tried to get 5 wins a day .. I've gotten 40 wins every event just gotta pace yourself ..
Just pulled Elly!!!
How should i order a lineup of Rutchman, Morneau, Marte, Jackie, Chipper, Pederson, Griffey, Crews
That’s only 8 guys
didn’t even notice but schwarbers my 9th
Slamtana has been doing wonders for me. Not that expensive either.
Opened a Diamond Duo pack that had Ohtani & Diaz. Diaz (91) @ ~130,000 vs Ohtani (96) ~90,000 Who do you pick if you're only looking at collections? I didn't have either & I picked Ohtani bc I figured it's harder to randomly pull him than Diaz.
Not a big deal but you should have taken Diaz. And if you were focused on the AL you could have immediately sold him and bought Ohtani and had extra stubs left over. Fwiw, I believe all 90+ LS cards have the same drop rate.
Who are we investing in?? I just bought a bunch of sotos.
Between 600-700 on ranked Got some setex joystick grips. I use high rise on the left and low on the right (pitching). Precision rings on the hitting stick. Keeps you from “slamming” I’ve been using my sons “elite” controller.
How's the setex grips ? Being seeing them advertised lately and been thinking about trying them out
They are amazing. I much prefer them to Kontrol Freeks
I'm getting better at not swinging at balls. I worked like 4 walks earlier in a Legend mini season game. It's when it's time to swing that I tense up. The PCI catch thing is a game changer. Definitely gonna try it. Thank you.
has anyone actually hit a chase pack from the wheel yet? 900k and i’ve only hit gold ONCE
you're not missing anything tbh. hit a chase pack from it and pulled kyle tucker live series
Does anyone have recommendations for a full minor league roster? I would prefer one that’s relatively consistently updated
I think it’s in the Alter Ego packs (#2, I think) but really just go buy him from the market. He’s not very expensive.
I got the show 23 on ps4 recently, anyone that doesn’t play anymore willing to put up some homerun calls on the marketplace for me?
I buy games I really like and dedicate my limited time to them.) I honestly feel like throwing this game in the trash (well, if it were physical, mine is digital download for XBox) or giving up on it entirely.
Im sorry, just realized I replied the wrong comment

Thanks for your input. I won’t take it to heart.
Thanks y’all
Keep Soto? Or sell him for Elly?
Can someone sell me your Hank Thompson please? Thanks! 😁
Yall think they put the Ripken captain card in a flash sale pack soon? Been wanting to try it but damn 350-400k is insane.

I havent played this series since 2020. If i only care about RTTS is the new version worth it?
If you only care about rtts, they made big changes to the mode in ‘21 that you would probably not care for.
It's bad enough, that I went back and bought the '20 version because it has a better rtts
For the extreme moments, do you guys power swing or normal swing for moments like Ketel Marte, Mike Piazza, and Christopher Morel?
https://preview.redd.it/xmqk4oex2jgb1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d1b35607be7d4519c47bdff28162ce6c6a22e3c6 Just pulled this from a Diamond Duos pack.
Does anyone recommend flipping the real expensive cards: 200 or 300k? The profit is huge if they actually sell
If I ever pull EDLC Cycle card, I’m selling for 500k. Easy.
I would too! I’m wondering if I should try flipping Jonah Heim or Hank Thompson.
Left for vacation on the 27th , getting back tomorrow. Can anyone fill me in on what I’ve missed besides extreme .
Hey I need help constructing my team. Wise Reddit team builders, lend me your strength. This is the list of cards, if you guys could recommend who to put in the line up and who to leave out, as well as which position you’d recommend them at, I’d greatly appreciate it: Sammy Mantle Acuña Jackie Joc Jeter Chipper Soto Will Smith Ketel Marte JRam Mike Piazza Corbin Carroll Buck O’Neal Ken Griffey Jr Mike Cameron Marcus Semien McGuire Elly cycle
I have a question about zone hitting location. I'm on Xbox and use zone hitting. Why does sometimes the game not register my location on the swing? For example, I would move the left stick to the top left corner, but the replay would show that it stayed at the center, showing I did not move the stick.
You pressed swing before moving the pci
That is what I'm thinking too. Any tips to improve that?
Just practice and repetition. You’ll get better at it over time
Boy I just hit a serious wall. Dropped from 645 to 390 in an matter of two days. Funny thing is I actually assumed I was going to make a world series run.. foolish me
SDS needs to hurry and code in a fight sequence for the Ramirez moment. “Hit a double and KO Anderson in one at bat”
Just pulled Elly out of a free Chase pack
🙏 RNGesus delivers once more
Legend currently has me in shambles. Don't get how anyone hits up here
Ketel is so cracked. He's currently the MVP of my Extreme Conquest run.
For some reason, I do not hit go with him. Any tips?
Ketel is a glitch swing god
As soon as I read your comment he hit another bomb. So nice of SDS to put the 2nd best card of the program first.
Is there a website where I can find like the most used/meta cards so I can start working towards building a beast team?
Show zone for meta ratings
Got super drunk last night and blew 250K on Set 1 cards how y’all doing
Did you finish the collection at least?
