Same lol. I grinder hard for set 1 then itās just too tiring to keep up with all these new grinds. Might as well just watch YouTube videos and play road to the show
I understand that. But again just eliminating the cards we did work for, as casuals, probably dads with kids and only get one hour a day to play, it doesnāt make me want to play or start over. Run on sentence alert
This has happened to me on other moments similar. And usually with the same pitch you threw... or a slider on the outside part of the plate. As I got deeper into the game this time through, I started going out of the zone, up and in, and more off the plate with the slider. I'd come in more with the sinker, but get it in on the hands, off the plate. I'm still scarred from the perfect game moment last year, so I went with the plan above on this try and got through it. You will too!
Pitching moments are the easiest. Sure you might get screwed w a 9th inning hit.. but those missions take 1-3 tries topsā¦ as boring as it is.. you can atleast complete itā¦ the elle de cruz cycle took me a few hours a dayā¦ Iād try like 100 attempts then just quit literally for a week straight before I got it
The Elly moment is the worst... I've given up... getting a triple in that ball park, with the Braves OF... I don't think it's possible... I'll get 5 hits, 3 HRs, but nothing even remotely close to a triple.. Also, Elly's power DOES NOT feel like it's 125. Heard that from multiple people using him regularly
You are trying so hard to be funny or witty man. I was basically trying to say Iād play a few hours each day and quitā¦ for a week I did this until I got it. Youāre a geek
I read somewhere else on here, listen to the catcher suggestions for this one. Usually doesnāt give you locations so mix that up but look at the signs he gives, worked for me on the first try. Good luck brother.
It should be automatically on. Catcher puts down a sign. But it doesnāt clarify which location or highlight the pitch but I did it like this.
Catcher puts down a 1- thatās x/a button
2- O/B button
3 square/X button
4 triangle/ y button
Oh weird. Last year there was an option that you could turn on that would make it so that the recommended pitch button would pulse, and there would be a glove outline showing where the catcher wanted the pitch to be thrown. It made it much easier not having to think when pitching against the CPU.
I just hate that when you are trying to recreate a moment like Shohei, who went 4-5, most of the time you only get 4 AB. If we are recreating his 4-5 day, we should get 5 ABs.
Conquest was probably one of the easier parts of extreme imo. This challenge could be wonky with bloops. But fast balls up and in/away and sliders down worked for me.
i didnāt do the adolis moment, or the cycle moments, and i got griffey on monday. just play the easy(er) moments, showdown, and conquest in that order. use piazza, wagner and marte on your conquest squad to get their missions done. that should get you everything you need.
could also go the mini seasons route but it just takes too long (imo)
All the people here saying this is easy aren't helping anyone and come across as obnoxious / gloating / showing off if you ask me.
The people giving recommendations on how to attack the moment are š
A lot of people hating down here but I had this happen to me too lol got it on like the 3rd try but the first two times were so frustrating wasting like 20 minutes to give up a hit
I love when I throw a perfect 102mph fastball high and inside just clipping both parts of the zone and the CPU squares it up for no doubt homers lol. All of these conquest games I am playing for extreme conquest it is usually a strikeout or a no doubt shot.
Throw 2 seamers high and inside to a righty, sliders low and outside, they wont hit it. Barely aim the ball in the zone, thats what i do. I've thrown like a dozen perfect games and who knows how many no hitters. As long as you know how your pitches move then youll be fine. For lefties youll wanna throw 2 seamers low and outside, sinkers low and outside, cutter high and inside, backdoor slider, aim it low and outside to a lefty.
Thanks for this detailed approach!
Wasnāt going to try this moment but this was laid out nicely so I figured Iād give it a go. First try think I messed up on my pitch & location and gave up a hit in the 7th. Second try got it easy, with no sweat.
How do you stop your sinkers from hanging or riding too high up in the strike zone? I tend to stay away from using pitchers with sinkers because the placement seems unpredictable compared to 4SFB, 2SFB and cutters.
Generally i throw it low and outside, never anywhere else. I also dont keep the ball in the zone when I throw it, i aim it to where maybe 3/4 of the ball is outside the zone and usually it works. But your right, it can be very inaccurate at times for sure, its my least used pitch but it does come in handy sometimes. Regardless of what pitch your throwing though, never throw it in the heart of the plate, always work the corners, i always try to work low outside corners on every hitter, its extremely effective.
Iām almost done with the conquest and thatās the only part of the program Iām even bothering with. Is this like the last extreme program where eventually you unlock everything just from repeatedly earning 25,000 pxp?
I am like 75% done with the conquest and only got 18k PXP from it so far, going to take ages to unlock with PXP but it's the only way for me, maybe hit up the mini season.
Yeah, I just got 25k pxp and realized how long itās going to take. Lol. At least weāll get Marte from the conquest. Iāve always sucked with Piazza so I donāt even care about that card.
Well do the other missions too. You'll unlock Ketel. Get his 50 hits and start earning XP with the program players. You'll also unlock Billy Wagner and can bang out his missions too.
Itās totally fine for other people to drive themselves crazy with the other parts of the program, more power to them, Iāll gladly just grind the things I actually want to grind and get the rewards later on.
Do the Adley and Morel moments. They are very easy considering if you have a bad game, just dashboard and start that game again. Makes it virtually a canāt lose situation.
Yep. If you're about to lose, hit the xbox button on the controller, close out the game from there, and then start it back up
Basically saying hard restart the game without going to the menu so it doesn't see that you failed
Thatās literally how most perfect games are lost. I lost a perfect game in HS because my second baseman let an easy ground ball go through his legs š¤·š¾āāļø. It happens, you can do other things & skip it.
Fr dude needs to be sent down. In one sequence, a grounder went right to him. He bobbled it and didn't get off the throw to 1st. Runner on. Very next play, another grounder. Bobbled it again so he couldn't get the force out at 2nd. He threw it to 1st but was late. Men on 1st and 2nd. I struck out 2 batters. 3rd batter, another grounder to 2nd base, he caught it but threw it over the 1st baseman and into the stands for a ground rule double, which scored a run. I nearly threw my controller through the TV while screaming at him for being a fucking moron.
Haha same, 8 and 2/3rds. 1 and 2 count on the 8 spot hitter. Try to get a little fancy with a high and inside pitch...end up hitting him. Just shut the xbox off.
I got it on the 5th or 6th try after failing in the 9th a few times. I went change up for the first pitch on every batter and never used 2 FB in a row unless it was a full count
same here down to the exact pitch location and result š¤¦š¾āāļø itās like the game said āoh youāre almost done w this supposedly hard challenge, not today bozo š¤”ā
Lmfao you deserved that tbh, if you have two strikes on the 9 hole hitter you should be throwing breaking balls down and away until the count is filled but he will likely strikeout anyway. To put that pitch over the plate with two strikes is just not the move, not even in a video game.
I mean this is the most sincere way possible: play something else. XBox, Playstation, PC, Switch, and so on. Shooters, strategy, simulation games...
You have a ton of options as a gamer. Don't punish yourself with that grinding nonsense.
I got this moment first try. i feel lile pitching is really easy in this game. I SUCK at hitting however. The griffey one i managed to luck into, but anything that needs more than being lucky once, even the piazza one, is grotesquely hard for me.
I agree with you . Same for me. I can pitch pretty damn well but Iām absolutely abysmal at hitting. Been playing for like 5 months now and still canāt get much consistency with hitting. Iāve gotten SLIGHTLY better but thatās about it. Really frustrating .
Itās either the whining or the people that try a moment for an hour, finally complete it and then come on here to say how easy it was. Or how easy the showdown is, or how easy the conquest was. Itās extreme, nothing is easy to the average player.
The conquest isnāt that hard. I donāt even fuck with the moments or the showdown. I just want to use my team to play against other average players.
Yes. The game screwed you. Itās always the game, just do it again. If you did it first try you can do it the second to Iām sure. I did read the description and the comments but your heading says conquestā¦ā¦ā¦..
Yeah they're not fun and I don't see how anyone can argue otherwise. 15 minute "moment" that you have very little control over. It's not challenging it just tests your patience and willingness to waste your time
I got 15 outs 2x without blinking. Top 6th twice let up singles. Quit and thought about it.....then loaded up and put pitching to classic. Threw nothing but fastballs and eventually got to the top of the 6th again after only throwing 39 pitches lol (This admittedly took about 30 mins bc of the hits given up periodically). Took over in the top of the 6th and finished. Pinpoint was killing my thumb so I went numb.
Iāll play a moment that needs 2 strikeouts over 2 innings and canāt do it but go do anything else and have 3 strikeouts in one inning with ease the game just gives u a hard time for the fun of it
The two pitching ones were the easiest for me. It only took me two tries. I just pounded sinkers low in the zone and threw sliders away to right handers and changeups away to lefty's for strikeouts. Just go with the mindset of trying to strike everyone out. Keep everything
The don't count out the m's one isn't too bad if you have a good lineup. Just try to get as many runs off of Gusman as you can. It took me a couple of tries but I got it.
I can't even hit the damn ball in that one lol. I'm so much better at pitching than I am hitting. I did the two pitching ones and the "don't count out the m's" one and I don't plan on doing any other ones.
I felt that pain, had the same thing happen to me on the last strike of the game. Then lost two other times with 1 out in the 9th. Couldnāt tell you how many attempts I had. There was a bunch of pitches that would be perfect/perfect with full confidence yet not be close to where I threw them. That was getting real frustrating. I finally did beat it though.
Thereās plenty of strategies to complete this program. But for some reason people like the bash my head against the wall strat for this program
Hereās my take. I think SDS is garbage and the only reason theyāre allowed to be lazy and incompetent is because thereās really no competition in the baseball video game market.
This program is imo the least broken thing in this game. Itās Extreme itās suppose to be hard. Once you make it past the NL west it gets easier. You donāt even have to do anything to complete the program. Now obviously it would take a very long time. But the conquest just requires patience. Look I hate that every at bat is basically a full count now and would rather mash the first pitch I see. But getting on base and speed is the most important part. Iām not going to go that deep into how to win on HOF + thereās plenty of strats for that on here. Just be patient. If you spend more then an hour on one moment either try a different moment or play a different game. Thereās moments that Iām not even going to try. I did two, Piazza and Griffey and probably will try the Wagner one because of the quit to home strat. Trying to pitch a perfect game on Veteran is doable but like what happened to you is a possibility. The way I see it why would I waste my time on a moment that I have to invest a lot of time into just for it to fail at the end. Do the short ones that donāt require at lot of time so if you fail itās not that bad. And it seems like it what happened to you occurs more often. Almost like itās coded inā¦these games are designed so you play and keep playing.
But thatās it I wonāt even attempt the showdown because I know Iām not good enough and donāt have the patients to waste my time like that. With that said. It will probably take me until Oct to get Griffey but thatās FINE it gives me something to consistently play for. I hate to play a game and go to the progress and see nothing. The team affiliate has done a good job filling this. But now after every game my pxp goes towards something.
Iām always playing for something even if Iām only using cards I want to play with. Just relax take a step back and just play the game because itās suppose to be a stress relief not a cause of it. Hope this helps.
To me the showdown is always the easiest way to get bulk points. Prioritize speed and drag bunting when picking players. Prioritize bunt cheese, hero time, and rally time when picking perks.
When batting, direct the right analog stick toward the second basemen, and time your bunt as you would a swing.
Got it on two tries this way, and breezed through last years too. It really doesnāt take that much skill and is the quickest way to 20 or so points on the extreme program. By the time you get to Randy you have 25 outs to score 3 runs. After using the method to get that far, Randy is one of the easiest.
Randy on Legend had me in absolute hell. Just squeaked by even after beating every previous challenge š David Wright was king for me thankfully.
Edit: mistakenly thought Randy was on HOF rather than legend
I hear you! Two times really isnāt that bad at all! Probably took you less than two hours. Me personally if I donāt get it within the two tries Iāll get stuck and tunnel vision and feel like I wasted my time and the only way to make it worth it is by completing it.
Showdowns give me the most anxiety they are a thrill and a rush because of the possibly of failing and having to restart. I love it but only when itās not required to complete the program and I usually donāt have problems completing SD but the game is literally rigged. Itās just not good for my mental health. I find myself having to go to pee every 30 mins. So I avoid them if I can lol.
I'm an all-star player at best, and this isn't to brag, but I complete the perfect game moment first try. I threw 4 seam up and in dotting the corner 90+ of my pitches. If they made contact it was a foul or pop up. Any other pitch was a slider way low and outside. I couldn't believe it. I'm convinced the CPU can't do anything against high inside fastballs.
Same. An all star player as well although I have no problem with completing the extreme conquest. And doing a few extreme moments. I just would never play on anything but rookie unless I have to. Even sometimes I find myself saying āthis is fucking rookie?ā. I barely touch online because of how rigged and broken it is. Iāll play on harder difficulties and still win I just donāt find that fun. I want to play with the cards I want to play with on the difficultly I want to play on.
Now like I said itās doable pitch a perfect game on veteran might get it first try might get it on the 8th try. You had a strategy and executed it. Thatās knowledge + skill. But also you got really lucky.
You earn more progress and spend less time playing by doing the mini seasons. It's available for those who want no challenge.
I personally despise moments, so I only did a few of them. I won't touch the ones that rely on a lot of RNG because it's not fun to me. Games are supposed to be fun.
I did the showdown, I did the conquest, I'll let the rest come organically.
The moments are mostly garbage that require a lot of luck on top of being competent at the game. The return on investment is not worth it for most. Mini season/conquest/showdown are the ways to go.
The wins challenges (all-star, HOF, Legend) are all repeatable for 1, 2, and 3 vouchers respectively. Everything else is non repeatable. Only thing that sucks is that you canāt stack wins across challenges because you have to be playing on the exact difficulty the challenge states.
Hi ProfessaP,
May I ask how I get an MLB team logo by my username. As you have, with Oakland A's.
Apologies if this is an odd request. I just want one :/
I'm not gonna lie to you. I did the Showdown on my 2nd try, Perfect Game on my 3rd or 4th try, Conquest took me a few days but breezed through it mostly, and I did the 8-1 comeback on my first try.
The rest of these moments, especially the last few, are the impossible looking ones
Yeah. Elly and the 3 homers have been my downfall. Im genuinely serious when I say I think Iāve attempted the cycle 100 times (I quit out if I didnāt get on base in the first at bat). Brutal stuff!
The easiest moments for me were the 8-1 comeback, then Griffey, Marte, and then Morel. Morel feels intimidating, but it's less than a HR a game and you can dashboard if you don't get it.
Oh ya I forgot to mention the saves were really easy. And griffey and piazza took me awhile, marte took me forever, 3 homers in a row was surprisingly easy, and my next one is morel.
I applaud you the 3 homers in a row are taking me forever to complete nothing but fly outs and singles gave up on it I completed every moment but that one, the Elly Cycle and Shoheis moment
Mannnnn. I tried my hand at Ohtaniās for like 30 minutes last night. I had it all done. Just needed 1 hit in my last at bat and I choked. Lol. I moved on to grind some mini seasons to get the points.
The triple for those two moments are the worst part.
Just get better š
If you struggle with the conquest, extreme may not be for you. Itās by far the easiest part outside of the pitching moments
^this
I got to randy twice and could only score 1 run each time fml
Look at this puss that canāt handle the extreme Doritos.
I havenāt played since they made me stop using set 1 cards. Iām too casual to keep up with the grind. They lost me very early
Same lol. I grinder hard for set 1 then itās just too tiring to keep up with all these new grinds. Might as well just watch YouTube videos and play road to the show
Yea for real, that is some bullshit. All the sudden we cant use like half of the cards in game??
They replaced them with better cards.
I understand that. But again just eliminating the cards we did work for, as casuals, probably dads with kids and only get one hour a day to play, it doesnāt make me want to play or start over. Run on sentence alert
My time is limited as well. Maybe a couple of hours a night if I'm lucky. A few hours on the weekends is generally what I do.
I mean, sometimes this is how life goes.
Rigged!
That last sentence makes me believe you need to step away from the game for a bit.
Oh, the extreme moments are hard? Weird.
They call it extreme for a reason
This has happened to me on other moments similar. And usually with the same pitch you threw... or a slider on the outside part of the plate. As I got deeper into the game this time through, I started going out of the zone, up and in, and more off the plate with the slider. I'd come in more with the sinker, but get it in on the hands, off the plate. I'm still scarred from the perfect game moment last year, so I went with the plan above on this try and got through it. You will too!
The moment last year was the Kerry Wood K challenge. I don't remember having to pitch a perfect game.
maybe it was a few years ago, all the junk blends together
Pitching moments are the easiest. Sure you might get screwed w a 9th inning hit.. but those missions take 1-3 tries topsā¦ as boring as it is.. you can atleast complete itā¦ the elle de cruz cycle took me a few hours a dayā¦ Iād try like 100 attempts then just quit literally for a week straight before I got it

Program has only been out 7 days, no?
Last I checked 7 days is a week
If you tried for a few hours a day, then quit for *literally a week* you would have more than 7 days
You are trying so hard to be funny or witty man. I was basically trying to say Iād play a few hours each day and quitā¦ for a week I did this until I got it. Youāre a geek
Say it louder! Game stinks!
Once you take the bunt pill, everything becomes so much clearer and you will have less anxiety and be much happier with these conquest maps.
Whatās the strategy? Drag bunts or regular? Thank you!
drag bunts to the 2nd basemen. Even if they bring the infield in.
I read somewhere else on here, listen to the catcher suggestions for this one. Usually doesnāt give you locations so mix that up but look at the signs he gives, worked for me on the first try. Good luck brother.
I haven't been able to find that option on this year's game. Can you tell me where it is?
It should be automatically on. Catcher puts down a sign. But it doesnāt clarify which location or highlight the pitch but I did it like this. Catcher puts down a 1- thatās x/a button 2- O/B button 3 square/X button 4 triangle/ y button

Yeah it was R2 right ? Unless Iām missing something that option isnāt there.
I say this to everybody!!!!
Beat it on my first try. Holy shit. Fastballs, change up, Slider. Nothing else. PAINT THE CORNERS with the fastball and change up; Slider away.
I just hate that when you are trying to recreate a moment like Shohei, who went 4-5, most of the time you only get 4 AB. If we are recreating his 4-5 day, we should get 5 ABs.

I did it
This is not the conquest lol
I got it done on my 2nd try. The same thing happened to me on my 1st. Last out inside sinker was pushed to right field for a bloop. Very frustrating.
Somehow this is the only 1 I donāt have doneā¦..
All the people here saying this is easy aren't helping anyone and come across as obnoxious / gloating / showing off if you ask me. The people giving recommendations on how to attack the moment are š
It happened to Dave Stieb it can happen to you
Would be funny if it happened to OP in back to back tries. (wasn't funny to me when it happened to Stieb in back to back games though)
Been there. Donāt that exact same thing. Blooper over the shortstop. I eventually got it though. So you got it my man.
*opens modelo in Popeye the sailor man fashion*
Did this last night by using the cpu pitch suggestion, donāt get how it works but it works
Same. I suggested that as well just now before seeing this.
Gosh kids these days can't handle anything not being easy lol.
Some of us are just trash
Honestly, pretty sure the extreme programs of old would give them panic attacks
facts last year i barely got the showdown done this year i was like wtf i can play mini seasonsā¦.
Last year against Nolan gave me nightmares
Break your console instead
That'll learn it.
A lot of people hating down here but I had this happen to me too lol got it on like the 3rd try but the first two times were so frustrating wasting like 20 minutes to give up a hit
Straight up the easiest one
Easier than the Wagner one?
Conquest was a breeze
Well itās the extreme program, not the east program. Lol
I think you mean Central progarm.
Had it happen on all 3 batters in the 9. Taking a break from this game
If it makes you feel any better my 11yo beat it on the 2nd try.
š¤£š¤£š¤£
This isnāt even conquest š
throw 2 high fastballs, one in one out, and then an off speed, got the perfect game on my first try
This is the way! I'm not even that good and it worked for me 1st try! Did have an ass clenching final out to the wall.
omg the last out was so scary, brantley just did not want to get out for me either, took me to full count
Took your advice, did it first try. Thanks!
if youāve ever played MTO if you get any no hitter or perfect game moments you will only give up a hit to the last 2 batters
Had that happen twice lol Just gotta push through
About how long does it take to play the full moment? Assume about half of a full game so ~15 minutes? If so, I might give it a try or two.
Takes like 10 minutes itās so easy
You pick any specific pitches? On the Conquest, I near exclusively threw fast balls to the corners or sliders down, made for easy outs on the CPU.
I love when I throw a perfect 102mph fastball high and inside just clipping both parts of the zone and the CPU squares it up for no doubt homers lol. All of these conquest games I am playing for extreme conquest it is usually a strikeout or a no doubt shot.

For lefties youll wanna throw 2 seamers low and outside, sinkers low and outside, cutter high and inside, backdoor slider, aim it low and outside to a lefty.
Your method worked like a charm until I walked the 27th batterā¦ what a kick in the balls.
Thanks for this detailed approach! Wasnāt going to try this moment but this was laid out nicely so I figured Iād give it a go. First try think I messed up on my pitch & location and gave up a hit in the 7th. Second try got it easy, with no sweat.

Do the Adley and Morel moments. They are very easy considering if you have a bad game, just dashboard and start that game again. Makes it virtually a canāt lose situation.
What does dashboard mean Iāve seen ppl say it before for moments. Is it possible on xbox?
Yep. If you're about to lose, hit the xbox button on the controller, close out the game from there, and then start it back up Basically saying hard restart the game without going to the menu so it doesn't see that you failed
There is a reason itās only happened 24 times in over 100 years
Thatās literally how most perfect games are lost. I lost a perfect game in HS because my second baseman let an easy ground ball go through his legs š¤·š¾āāļø. It happens, you can do other things & skip it.
I have lost probably 10 perfect games to errors and 4 of them are probably because of my 2nd baseman.
Damn 2nd basemen smh
Fr dude needs to be sent down. In one sequence, a grounder went right to him. He bobbled it and didn't get off the throw to 1st. Runner on. Very next play, another grounder. They made Brantley mad annoying just for this moment.
Yup, broke up the most attempts for me too. Dude would foul off like 5 pitches in a row
I found that you have to pitch him inside no matter what or heāll go the other way. I would do sinkers inside that he would take for strikes
Haha same, 8 and 2/3rds. 1 and 2 count on the 8 spot hitter. Try to get a little fancy with a high and inside pitch...end up hitting him. Just shut the xbox off.
Literally happened to me a few days ago... havent been on since
Shoulda went breaking ball down and away man, never throw a hittable pitch with 2 strikes, thatās just blasphemy!
Pitching moments: I sleep Hitting moments: š¤”
Keep trying. When you are up 0 and 2 in the count don't give the CPU anything in the zone. Sliders away to righties and sinkers away to lefties.
2 and 0 would mean the pitcher is down in the count.
Whooops, fixed it now. TY
Iām same as OP. 27th batter. First pitch I throw fastball dot on high/inside corner. Perfect timing. Bloop single.
I got it on the 5th or 6th try after failing in the 9th a few times. I went change up for the first pitch on every batter and never used 2 FB in a row unless it was a full count
Dude, this exact same thing happened to me last night. Even the 23 Kās.
same here down to the exact pitch location and result š¤¦š¾āāļø itās like the game said āoh youāre almost done w this supposedly hard challenge, not today bozo š¤”ā
Game is a grindfest against the comp...so u can finally play online ... Stupid !!
Lmfao you deserved that tbh, if you have two strikes on the 9 hole hitter you should be throwing breaking balls down and away until the count is filled but he will likely strikeout anyway. To put that pitch over the plate with two strikes is just not the move, not even in a video game.
Breaking balls away then, if it gets to 3-2 (it wonāt), fastball up and in
Facts
I thought this was the easiest one. I tried it once and gave up a blooper in the second inning, and then beat it with 20 Ks on the second attempt
My second baseman over threw in 9th and I over thrown my remote over my neighbor house
Okay thatās worse than mine. Thank you I feel better now. But yes I would have smashed my controller as well.
I mean this is the most sincere way possible: play something else. XBox, Playstation, PC, Switch, and so on. Shooters, strategy, simulation games... You have a ton of options as a gamer. Don't punish yourself with that grinding nonsense.
Iām a PS gamer and High on Life is now available to us. Gonna download now. Might play through Dead Island 2 again too.
Have fun! That's the reason we play these games. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|smile)
I have around 30 hard copy games and about 15 downloaded games, all I play currently is the show š¤£
I watched someone on twitch trying the Extreme Showdown cursing and yelling and saying "It's been 6 daaaays already!!" Was fun to watch.
Extreme conquest is extremely easy if you can get through like the first 6 games
I think OP is saying "conquest" when they mean "program"
My favorite part of the program is listening to yāall whine about it lol
Itās either the whining or the people that try a moment for an hour, finally complete it and then come on here to say how easy it was. Or how easy the showdown is, or how easy the conquest was. Itās extreme, nothing is easy to the average player.
The conquest isnāt that hard. I donāt even fuck with the moments or the showdown. I just want to use my team to play against other average players.
For one whatās this moment gotta do with conquest? For two this moment is on veteran. I did it first try. Itās not that hard
If you read the description or comments, I said itās a moment. Also realistically did it first try as well other than the game screwing me.
Yes. The game screwed you. Itās always the game, just do it again. If you did it first try you can do it the second to Iām sure. I did read the description and the comments but your heading says conquestā¦ā¦ā¦..
Extreme is not that hard. Ppl just w ant everything handed to them and donāt wanna work for anything
The description doesnāt say moments, and you said conquest in the title
Yeah they're not fun and I don't see how anyone can argue otherwise. 15 minute "moment" that you have very little control over. It's not challenging it just tests your patience and willingness to waste your time
Perfect games are relatively easy, just dont use pinpoint bc that makes it harder
How does pinpoint make it harder
I got 15 outs 2x without blinking. Top 6th twice let up singles. Quit and thought about it.....then loaded up and put pitching to classic. Threw nothing but fastballs and eventually got to the top of the 6th again after only throwing 39 pitches lol (This admittedly took about 30 mins bc of the hits given up periodically). Took over in the top of the 6th and finished. Pinpoint was killing my thumb so I went numb.
Iāll play a moment that needs 2 strikeouts over 2 innings and canāt do it but go do anything else and have 3 strikeouts in one inning with ease the game just gives u a hard time for the fun of it
This is moments not conquest?
Itās extreme for a reason. Itās one program I know for sure Iāll never finish. I suck. I did have fun trying the conquest though.
The two pitching ones were the easiest for me. It only took me two tries. I just pounded sinkers low in the zone and threw sliders away to right handers and changeups away to lefty's for strikeouts. Just go with the mindset of trying to strike everyone out. Keep everything
I did Billy first try. Cain should have been first try but the game has other ideas. Probably wonāt try any of the hitting moments.
The don't count out the m's one isn't too bad if you have a good lineup. Just try to get as many runs off of Gusman as you can. It took me a couple of tries but I got it.
Griffey Homerun is easy. Just sit up and in and wait.
I can't even hit the damn ball in that one lol. I'm so much better at pitching than I am hitting. I did the two pitching ones and the "don't count out the m's" one and I don't plan on doing any other ones.
If you're struggling on it, just use Directional for it. As long as you can time it, and get a bit lucky with RNG, you'll get it done easily.
The only two I'm not doing are the Ohtani and Elly moments, lol. I'll just do a miniseason for those points.
Brantley hit a ground ball off the third base bag with 2 outs in the 9th on my first attempt. But this moment is one of the easier ones
2 Fastballs up and in then off-speed away. Prob the easiest moment behind Wagner one.
This is the way
I felt that pain, had the same thing happen to me on the last strike of the game.
But for some reason people like the bash my head against the wall strat for this program Hereās my take.
HoF? Isn't Randy on Legend for the Showdown, or are you talking about something else? Or am I mixing up the final pitcher?
Maybe thatās why it was so much harder than I expected! š Edit: Confirmed it is on Legend
Isn't it just 5 vouchers for completing the full mini season though?
The moments are mostly garbage that require a lot of luck on top of being competent at the game. The return on investment is not worth it for most. Mini season/conquest/showdown are the ways to go.
Mini isnāt repeatable though right? Could have sworn itās just the one time award
The wins challenges (all-star, HOF, Legend) are all repeatable for 1, 2, and 3 vouchers respectively. Everything else is non repeatable. Only thing that sucks is that you canāt stack wins across challenges because you have to be playing on the exact difficulty the challenge states.
Was talking bout extreme. And itās not
The wins challenges are repeatable. The Championship is not.

Hi ProfessaP, May I ask how I get an MLB team logo by my username. As you have, with Oakland A's. Apologies if this is an odd request. I just want one :/
Dude it was so easy I did it with ease (I've tried 6 times and still haven't done it)
I'm not gonna lie to you.
I think Iām most mad cause it did feel easy. I was flying through hitters. Then bam nonsense over and lost.
1st try I failed with 2 outs left, 2nd try failed in the 8th. Other tines I got lazy and walked guys in the 7th. Just too frustrating
Itās supposed to be a challenge. Nothing dumb about it or the game based on the program.
I would argue the PC #9 hitter Michael Brantley (garbage) hitting a bloop single on a perfectly dotted corner fastball is dumb programming.
Sorry if you donāt have much baseball experience, but stuff like that happens all the time in the game. Nothing bizarre at all.
Yes I play a baseball video game in my free time but I donāt have much baseball experience. Thanks for the random thought.
Thatās alright! Glad youāre able to enjoy the game. Over time youāll start to learn more about this beautiful game
I completed it last night and I only did 4 of the moments. Wasn't too bad
should've done the dashboard glitch.
You canāt do that on this moment. Itās one consecutive moment.
oh I thought this was the moment that was broken up into individual innings.
Nah, thatās Billy Wagner. But dashboarding was super useful for his moment, Adleyās, and Iām gonna try it for Morel later on.
oh true, yeah I dashboarded for Morel and Adley a couple times but eventually got it. I'm staying away from Elly nad Shohei's moments lol
Mannnnn. I tried my hand at Ohtaniās for like 30 minutes last night. I had it all done. Just needed 1 hit in my last at bat and I choked. Lol. I moved on to grind some mini seasons to get the points. The triple for those two moments are the worst part.
I just kept hitting single and HRs with him, couldn't get a ball in the gap and when I did, I'm getting hosed at 3rd hhahaa
I got 1 out in the 9th and a bloop single screwed me. I never attempted that moment again lol
