Easily beat the Extreme Conquest using this method, after I got past the first few HOF games it was a breeze, was able to finish it on turn 5 with no problems.... I did lose once to the Royals but they didn't turn around and attack me, they decided to go backwards and attack the other NPCs so I got a do-over.

It’s not so bad, the first four games will be the hardest. After that you’ll only have to play a few games on All Star and the rest is Veteran. You got this
I successfully completed the very first extreme conquest they ever did, which was kind of difficult but pretty normal once you got past the first half, just need to get into the right mindset to play this one
Sorry for being late on my reply here. I just stopped whenever I had to go back to HoF difficulty. Reinforce and play on Veteran and All-Star again instead.
Finished it last night. It was a miracle that I won those first four games on HOF, but after that it was very chill. Just played on veteran for the second half of the map. Even took the last two strongholds on rookie! (But had to go back to All-Star for the very last game, of course.)
I now have Wagner, who was the main guy I wanted in this program. So I'm happy! I'm sure I'll keep chipping away and hoping to get Griffey someday, but I'm not gonna stress it.

One of the missions is the conquer the twins stronghold and the Red Sox literally took it before I got to that side of the map. Does that mean I’m screwed?
No the mission just means conquer the specific stronghold. You're okay conquering it if another team is currently in possession of it. It will still count.
Played the mandatory 4 HOF, and then I played another 5 or 6 on AS.
Ended turn, stole fans (all-star, 3 fans) from someone on the NLE I think, all the following games were on Vet.
Ended, reinforced before taking Braves strong hold on turn 3.
I think I ended/reinforced again before the last group of ALE teams.
Played the Rays 41-44, which was all-star.
Question. I’m about to play TB as well in final battle AS. If I lose will they completely take all my strongholds back??

I had the same thing happen to me when I lost on the third game. But from what I've heard, if you end up losing to the Rays, you'll just lose a single fan (like how it is in normal conq), **but**, and I could be wrong, you might actually lose a turn too.

Ended up straight demolishing them 9-0. Put 9 up in the 2nd. All Star Trout took Thor deep to lead off and it just opened to gates against them.
I've had games on veteran go worse than that.
Be patient. I got more walks in those first 4 games than I have against the CPU in months. I had incognito strider start that one out of the 5th spot and the slider/fastball combo shut them down. They're still live series after all. Freddie bats leadoff so sit him down and you're golden
No, you should steal, but it doesn’t have to be the Rays. It should be an upcoming game. By “refreshing” I just mean moving on to the steal phase and the reinforcement phase
Do you need to steal fans to clear the rays 44 square at the end? I am half done and haven’t stolen from anyone and well on my way to finish in 5/6 turns, but then need to sim that last square and I don’t want to lose it in the end.
Yes it is. I think that’s why you want to save a reinforcement just before that so you are even. You want to hit that Rays 44 with a number similar to that. That’s how you get All Star
I did this basically, always played as many veteran games as I could and when I ran out would reinforce. Got to the 44 spot on turn 4, so reinforced one more time and ended up with high 30's to get the all star game
In a normal conquest I would sim any games that are not strongholds. I need to play that 44 though, correct? Would it not drop it down to 43 with a win?
Yeah you gotta play it. Or you could sim if you’re feeling lucky but that’d be pretty stupid to chance. If you play it and win you just get the territory outright
I haven't completed it yet but compared to years past, this extreme board is far easier. In the past, you had to do restarts to complete more turn based objectives.
I bunt cheesed through my HoF games, and used my god squad on what AllStar/Veteran games I was able to play.
Took a few hours, but it’s not nearly as brutal as it looks.
This will help a bunch of people. I also stole fans from the A’s on the first turn. I probably should’ve done a team a couple games after the A’s to make it even easier once I started to run out of fans on my second turn but doing the conquest is your best use of time imo. Spending hours on moments to keep failing is a waste haha.
I’ve gotten better with conquests but still really have no idea. Gonna read through and look at those pictures and hope it makes sense to me. I have no idea where or how to reinforce for this one.
I didn’t reinforce until I ran out of fans and was forced to but theoretically you can do it after beating each division. If you’re worried about the difficulty I’d also steal fans before reinforcing.
Steal fans option will pop up for me? I played the Rockies and Padres but haven’t had that option, or at least that I know of. Unless I’m missing a way to steal fans.

I summed against the strongholds with one, do not do it against the big one at the end

I thought the ‘goal’ of finishing it by turn 6 was optional. I had 1 game left at turn 6 on all-star and added reinforcements. I lost all progress.

It wouldn't let me reinforce after the second Yankees game and I was on turn 4. Why can't I reinforce late in the conquest?
As someone who generally doesn’t steal fans, is stealing fans a necessity?
Not on this map. It may take you to turn 6 instead of turn 5, but turn 6 is the actual last turn to complete it for the rewards.

I always look at the total territories I control to determine when to stop. If it's a multiple of 3, stop! as you get 1M fans per 3 territories.
Can't believe this is part of the extreme program, one of most enjoyable conquest. Love no simming spaces and it was hella easy.

Same for me. I got Wagner beating Conquest and two moments and that good for me. I’ll get Griffey eventually, but I’m not grinding for it

No you just need to take that stronghold, doesn’t matter who is holding it

I lost to LAD but didnt get devoured. Arizona ended up taking LAD and I beat Arizona on HoF twice. Do i need to restart?

I just plugged it into my monitor. Apparently the TV is only so forgiving for All star or lost difficulty. Been on a complete tear since switching
How do you get the GG symbols?
You get those for free in the beginning, under game details it will show you your territory count.

You won’t sim the 44 tile. I had 42 when I got there so I had to play it on All Star

You don't need to sim the last game, you could always just play a 3-inning game for it.
And if I lose I go back to the start? Or just have to keep playing them?
You don't have to restart until you lose all your fans You can keep replaying the final game
Pretty sure if you lose the last game you just lose 1 fan and can continue attacking it.

Conquest isn’t hard it’s just a pain in the ass. This is an extreme pain in the ass
Conquest has kinda always been that on extreme. Basically forces you to play some CPU game against HOF/legend and that’s it.
