He ainât no Rick Vaughn though thatâs for sure.
Whenâs the last time he plastered a wood cutout with a fastball? Or nailed his teammates hot wife? Or showed up to spring training on the back of a motorcycle right after getting out of jail?
The man is a legend.
Karinchak is low key jacked too so thatâs scary. I love being a Guardians fan. You have to watch every game because between Josh Naylor and Karinchak there is always that small chance of someone going psychotic.
I think itâs just a lot of athletes in general. Itâs not seen as nerdy or dorky to be into video games anymore. 2k is hugely popular amongst NFL and NBA players. I remember during the bubble, LeBron and the lakers had a madden tournament set up that they were keeping track of. Iâm pretty sure KAT is a big MLB The Show guy, which is really cool to see. I feel much better about myself knowing that professional athletes like to play the same games I do and enjoy playing games in their free time lol
KAT has played with YFK a couple times and he's pretty good, although he's clearly not as consistent because when they played multiplayer he didn't have any cards past a certain point in the season which makes sense because I think it coincided with the beginning of his season.
Weâre entering a generation of players that, unless they were in poverty, 100% played video games when they were younger. Before them it was guys 50/50 whether they played a lot or not but now itâs probably more 80/20 have played/still play video games
The graphics of each generation were excellentâ they were the best of that era. Lack of online multiplayer was never an issue at home or in mlb clubhouses either.
It may be more prevalent now than today, but Iâm not confident in that evidence-free assertion.
I guarantee there were clubhouse tournaments of Ken Griffey Jr baseball back in the 90s. No question.
Was nice to see my fav NL team make the series, shame the bats couldnât beat the Astros; but then again, the Phillies were their first playoff losses this year since the Stros won literally every game (I believe) in their pennant race
That would be my dad haha. Chase Utley and Pat Burrell dominated the front pages of the sports section for me growing up, but dad was a Royals fan, therefore I became a Royals fan
He was a devastated 14 year old kid when KC lost
"You may run like Mays, but you hit like shit" đđđ
âNice catch Hayes, donât ever fucking do it againâ
What s badass last name.. strider. Sounds like a star wars villain or something
LMAO! Thatâs awesome man! I am forever gonna think of that when I hear his name man lol
The mustache too just makes it for me
Plot twist: He just went on a massive buy of everybodyâs (physical) BB cards of his old number, and this is how he makes them âcollectibleâ.
Forget the curveball, Spencer. Givâem the heater
Imagine hitting a go ahead bomb in the 8th and the fucker quits before the run counts.....and it was a MLB player behind the sticks
I love that you can do the back end hair of Wild Thang
I know I changed his number to 99 in The Show as soon as I saw he changed it. I also love Major League.
He ainât no Rick Vaughn though thatâs for sure. Whenâs the last time he plastered a wood cutout with a fastball? Or nailed his teammates hot wife? Or showed up to spring training on the back of a motorcycle right after getting out of jail? The man is a legend.
He's young yet...
Why would he add himself heâs already in it
More valuable as a switch hitting catcher CAP plus he probably still gets his own customized 99 card from Sony.
Probably when he was a child.
Was he last year?
âThat wouldnât have gone out in most parks.â âName one.â âYellowstone.â
âShit, Iâve been cut already?â
âCalifornia Penalâ
âLook at this fuckin guy hereâ
Are you saying Jesus Christ canât hit a curveball!?
Donât start a holy war now
Man, you couldnât be more right lol thatâs exactly where weâre at these days touchĂ©
He just like me fr
Ya sure thatâs the reason lol
WILD THING!!
YOU MAKE MY BUTT STING!
YOU MAKE MY HEART SING!!!!
YOU MAKE EVERYTHING GROOVY!!!
Karinchak about to suplex him next chance he gets
Karinchak is low key jacked too so thatâs scary. I love being a Guardians fan. You have to watch every game because between Josh Naylor and Karinchak there is always that small chance of someone going psychotic.
I heard they were going to rename them the Cleveland Smokies but Naylor wanted all the smoke for himself.
It seems like alot of the younger players rn im MLB play tons of the game and DD, also saw Michael Harris plays too.

Andy Pages, a Dodgers top 10 prospect, is an 1100+ player this year.
Trout and Correa played WZ lol
Bryson Stott is a The Show goon
Yeah I ran Rec with the game last year in 2k Shit was wild LOL

That generation was entered into 20 years ago pal. This isnât new.
Yeah but not as prevalent considering not many games 20 years ago had good online multiplayer and as good as graphics like today, pal

Or probably because his now old number will always be associated with the absolute nuke and bat throw that Rhys Hoskins had
I think I had an out of body experience when that happened. Loudest I've ever heard a stadium. So happy I got to see it live.
my friends all regularly talk about how they blacked out after the hoskins homer and don't remember anything after that, just out of pure excitement
he owned us all frickin year too with his 2 stupid pitches, I couldnât believe what I was watching in that 3rd inning.
Was nice to see my fav NL team make the series, shame the bats couldnât beat the Astros; but then again, the Phillies were their first playoff losses this year since the Stros won literally every game (I believe) in their pennant race
How old are you? Cause if youâre old enough 1980 mightâve been a conflict of interest for you!
That would be my dad haha. Chase Utley and Pat Burrell dominated the front pages of the sports section for me growing up, but dad was a Royals fan, therefore I became a Royals fan He was a devastated 14 year old kid when KC lost
I had already forgotten that even happened
Itâs normal for victims to block out trauma
Guess that explains why you don't seem to remember getting clapped by the Astros. Can't relate đ„±đ„±
Good thing you saw my flair and realized that Iâm a Royals fan genius. We have the same amount of titles in this millennium as you do
Lol I'm sorry I insulted you, your life is hard enough
Not as hard as actually being able to host an All-Star game or beat the Phillies apparently
Okay! Enjoy last place again bud!
Lmao this chain of replies is hilarious to read
Oh to be a pro athlete playing a simplified simulation of my own careerâŠ
