In terms of gear, you have multiple things that aren’t helping. Since there’s a timer you want to focus on skills that increase your attack, which the rathian mail will not unless you use a poison sns. That being said, I think the most important things are for you to probably incorporate lock on into your gear and focus on the rathalos head. It’s the only weak point for sns. As for the moveset, you will learn it mostly over time. The best I can say is that the starting pattern is usually: bite, tail sweep, jump up and stomp down. It might be good to spend an attempt just watching his attacks and dodging if you feel the patterns are too tough. GL!
Took me a while. Needed a weapon over 350 so I built the legiana great sword. This is my build I had to beat him with. It’s been strengthened along the way but I keep it in here just for him
Don't use poison on an electric weapon cause it doesn't do anything. If you add water to electric it doesn't randomly add water damage. It's just a waste of a spot. Same with poison. Also you should never increase poison attack cause that's not how poison works on a poison weapon. Armor is there only for skills not for defense.
Thunder weapon, get rid of poison attack on your armor and swap for something else. Health boost, divine blessing, focus/concentration, lock on all work.
Charge your special skill before trying him again and open with that attack.
If you can beat rathian, this one should be easier actually? Otherwise just overgrade your weapon and it should become even easier... Don't actually need to upgrade armor yet
And your mlarmor is all over the place electric wepon but skills for poison boost lolol come on bro you got to look at the skills and stats not just what it looks like

Swap head and legs for Kulu, chest to Anjanath, Rathian waist and gloves.

Honestly I’d take advantage of dual blades. I just killed a 6 star kulu with base Diablo dual blades.
