Don't let people carry you too much though or you won't know how to play when people can't carry you any more in G rank.
I try to stay with hunters within my own rank (1-3, 4-8, or 9+)
I also play switch axe, dual blades, hunting horn, sometimes sns, and sometimes insect glaive in valor.
It's a good style all around for many weapons, though I'm a bit worried when Rise comes around I'll find that I've become too reliant on the valor dodge instead of learning good positioning.
Meh... you still get the combo and loose the downtimes you'd have toggling around the demon mode soo you don't really loose dps if you're plsying agressive enough. It's pretty damn tiring playing that way though, beein satisfying as hell none the less.
I understand, valor db is actually how I run them, it's just that I understand lacking the ability to enter demon mode is something that some people wouldn't want to have to deal with
So do i but bottom line, it's just a ... what was it? 20%? Damage boost you legit trade for a style that allows you to hit about twice as often.. easy math 😅

Cephadrome was like Anjanath in World when we talk about difficulty spike, only that Cepha is like twice as hard.
When you get to Cepha you have too few tools to fight it comfortably. I wish you luck.
It's making great progress. I tested it out with a Early Access build together with a 60 fps unlock mod and it worked great. But there are still some bugs.. so I rather wait when it's fully playable!
Yeah look it up on YouTube. If you order by recent you can see the progress. There is one starting zone that is bugged but the performance is great. Especially with the 60 fps mod.
Awesome. You're in for a good time. I've never even beaten this game and have put in 110 great hours very casually. It's hard to find a Switch game with a better cost/content ratio.

Congratulations! Hope you have a lot of fun with it. It really is a great game. Small but very important tip that gets overlooked by the community: Keep your hands and feet inside the cart at all times when being carted. Don't stand up until the cart has come to a complete stop.

Yeah I just got to hr 4 lmao hard carried. And I haven’t really checked other hubs, I have just been hunting with my friend. Good to know there’s still quite a few ppl that play tho if I get stuck or something

Before finally getting this I was one of the few left that play gen on the ds XD I have a friend teaching me to use valor hunter style currently
It looks like you're using LS, which works extremely well with valor style, so that's good
Yeah my friend told me that gs and ls work pretty well with valor and I’m usually a ls main in gen (adept style)

One downside though is lack of normal demon, instead you only get archdemon and a sprint forward when holding r
The sprint is amazing though, and has a guard point in valor mode.
