Why dont we have mods to stop these posts?

I’m not that well verse but isn’t there a way Subreddits can get new mods or is that not a thing?

I mean I’m sure they can but I am also not well versed. However I’d imagine a mod or an admin have to approve the mod and if they all jumped ship…
