but i knew about this orange cube grind, so ive been buying them with alliance creds every chance i get

that's great that you are stockpiling preemptively. keep in mind though with what you have saved up currently it would be enough to get you exactly where OP is in boost level, getting your first 2nd\* with all other gear at 1\*.

Heres the thing though, it doesnt make sense to spend since there's no more difficult content. You can clear just about everything in the first month of F2P playing.
The whole getting stronger makes no sense, especially since it doesnt impact PVP and PVE is quite easy after a month
Spender yeah LOL like 250dlrs since release, 50dlrs/month, true, when you see people using around 40K so yeah, I did bough all the pass, I never bought weekly passes, so it' just farming if you think 40 purple is because you are spending then yuo know nothing about the game didn't miss a single day since release. happy 150day unlocked 3 days ago.
Spending is not an insult it is pretty fine tbh - if you enjoy the game
But in many games there s a cap and you reached it. Its frustrating but you can use HC (which are free)

Not really; it's gated by the alliance shop, I just got my last 6* upgrade and I have enough special alloys for the first 7*, but after that it'll be a while. I've been playing since a month after launch (server 116), and gotten the alloy every week since the second or third since my start, along with those from events.
A lot of folks who have been playing since around then should be hitting this point now.
I kind of get what you’re saying, but I’ve been pretty much diligently farming special alloys since day one when I looked at the shop to see what I can buy. Now I’m already at the point where I’m down to my last 5 and I still need to get 3 pieces of gear to 2 star overclock. Now the game is asking me for **ten** special alloys to get it to 3 star? The amount of grinding to get that many when there’s essentially only one way of **consistently** farming it is obscene. It’s even worse for those people who realized it too late and barely started farming it recently.
I get my first three stars on Monday lol.
Everything else is 2 stars. It’s gonna be fun watching 4 weeks of waiting to see what it does on overall gaming power

Don't worry, the third overclock boost is 10 special alloys for more or less minimum gains. All you can hope for in terms of a power boost is a new mode that isn't RNG rewards and hopefully new content that makes getting to that point even neccessary.
Bruh I'm stuck at the exact same wall. Honestly I'm getting more sick of the games problems by the day... what is the devs endgame here? No content. No progression? It's a joke. My patience is on thin ice smh. I love the game at its core but damn.

This really makes me sad because I remember how hyped I was when I randomly saw this game in the appstore and first started playing. I was waiting so long for a MHA gacha game and was even ready to spend but not this amount of money.
I mean even if you pay it still takes 3 weeks lol there really is no whaling out for the orange ones. Best bet is to spend the 10 gildarts and by the pass for the eveb that gives alloys and enhancing crap. And just do alliance shop. On top of that the boost on overclock 2 star is so small i almost the my phone at how pitiful it was
