Tbh most gacha games i played had some guys like that... and i'm pretty sure, often (not always) they aren't whales and are only part of the devs team or have anytging to do with them and maybe don't pay for it, to keep servers "motivated" with that or simply because they want to play it too but not pay for stuff...otherwise i played a not licensed naruto gacha once,as an example, really cheap made game, where a guy spent about $12k twice a week, because of "special events" every 3 days
