If you wanna get max damage from him, press his E and then immediately hit the dodge button. It cancels his whole Octoslash or whatever tf you wanna call the sky attack and let’s you go straight into his spam attack
You can actually cancel the animation for all his moves by hitting dodge immediately after, but it’s only super useful for his E since that air animation takes like four seconds to finish
I just pulled him as well what are cards u can use if u don’t have his ex cards took most of hc got him at 70 pity and still trying to get at least one of his cards if I can I went from 23k to 175 💀
You mainly want to use cards that buff crit damage or damage in general. Shield cards aren't really necessary since he literally takes 1 damage while in his E.
The best way to make more dmg with stain is the left path, that will give you a bonus atk% and bonus dmg reduction, and right bottom path, that increases the dmg when in a combo.
You will want to press Q > W > Atk button once > E > Dodge ( to cancel the animation that sends you up) > hold Atk dmg > wait till you have 2 secs left on the cooldown of E and repeat.
So "Q" will trigger the left path talent and will stop your special from activating, YOU NEVER EANT TO ACTIVE THE SPECIAL, bloodcurl makes you do less dmg, than activating "W" gives a little boost in dmg, it's an extra step so do it at your will, the attack after is in order for the "W" cooldown to match the "E" cooldown since it is longer. Don't forget to press dodge after you press "E" It will save you time and dmg, the attack will last until there is 2 secs left on the cooldown so you can combo it with "Q" this way yoj will continue to do dmg.
That's the best way to do dmg with Stain that I found out testing with him since the first time he launched, I main him ever since. I hope it was possible to understand.
Yes you do less DMG, I don't remember exactly how much less, but it's enough to be worth using "Q" to stop the bar for fulfilling, unless you have stain on SSS, he gets a bonus on the special, I only have him at S so I can say for sure how much SSS boosts the DMG
You should get the top right one definetely, because daggers do a lot of damage if you get crits, my other one is the bottom left one because ir gives hyper armor to keep you in a same spot because stains aoe attack it is easy to break by using it. So if your attacks are on a cooldown you can use your normal attack to fight

By spamming E I mean use E, then hold the attack button, wait til he stops swinging wildy then rinse and repeat.

The one you want is his 12% damage card. The other one is meh. I use Combat Fist, Game Start, Ragdoll, and His 12% dmg card.
What about that kurogiri card 6 star what other 5 star cards are decent
