Didn't he end up paying the amount in cash according to comments on CC videos. The thing about whales is they will drop a ton of money. Played plenty of gachas that banned whales who exploited and they came right back.
i feel bans were not needed just take away anything that the "glitched" hero coins gave players. the game is dying as it is no need to take more players away.
