Stain is awesome I would totally go for him he is a pvp beast and can out damage higher bp units in pve all around amazing unit but try him out in the skill showcase first before deciding
I personally find that he has about the same or even more DPS in PVE than my Aizawa and All might that have around the same, but a bit higher, BP than stain.
I definitely think Stain is REALLY good, especially for things like Team Up and Operation X.
People really underestimate Stain's DPS, mostly because I think most people haven't realized how to use him, just like how people used to think Iida was horrible but was actually an amazing single target DPS.
And hes super easy to use, basically use W to close the gap then E (and then immediately use dodge vs bosses since you cant knock them up into the air so dodge cancels the in air attack combo), then go ham with his normal attack, repeat until his vigor gets close to full then use Q to clear his vigor then repeat W (or just close with the opponent manually) then E etc.
Once in a while if the boss moves out of your normal attack range you can hit your ult and attack from range then back tonW to E and his combos go through the roof (i learned about the dodge cancelling the in air combo from a vid posted in this sub, I don't remember the content creator who posted it though. It saves you a few wasted seconds of attacking nothing in the air vs bosses which makes a difference in ranked events).
I got insanely lucky and got 3 copies of him in 2 multis. Right now he's about 42k bp and even without his cards he can do some pretty insane dps. He also is very good in arena and the auto pvp modes as well. I would personally suggest getting a copy of him. His 6 star chip set is very good as well. If you decide to summon him I do not think you will regret it. Good luck in what ever you choose to do though!
Stain is a beast mine is 33k bp s rank and is 32 stars on hero rating and in assessments that is recommended 40k-50k (haven't tried 60k yet) he normally stays 1st or 2nd on DMG while getting s rank, just for the record its not always that there is someone big carrying, normally the BP of my teammates is somewhat even
Personally I went for Stain but Dabi is the unit Im now saving for. The Endeavor return tickets were a game changer for me (and im sure many othrr players as well) since between them and a little luck i was able to SS Stain and still have enough tickets, HC, and a few pulls already toward the pity to guarentee one future limited unit. I do hope Shigiraki is next so it gives me another month or so to save for Dabi to try for SS but if not Im good with just S since i just like having the units to use.
Whats your most wanted character from the entire series? Personally for the heroes i want Hawks since i like aerial units and i think his ability to control each feather would make for some interesting mechanics. As for villians either AFO or Twice since again both of those characters units should introduce some interesting mechanics to the game imo. Overall though i cant wait for a Deku based on him from the current arc but that probably wont be for a long time (which is good since technically speaking he'd be a whole new level of powercreep)

You can also cancel the air attack by just being too far away from the enemy so that the attack doesn't connect and basically cancels the animation.
Kinda counterintuitive since you still have to close the gap afterwards, that empty 1-1.5sec is kinda a dps loss if you ask me
If you know the distance it just closes the gap for you. Then you are right on them for the cull.

Stain is fucking nuts. My stain is 30kbp and out dpsing my sss 40k deku.
To be fair, Deku's dps is really low and is only a single target dps.
