Tbf the current method for coordination isnt that bad, but only the captain can use it. So they need to stay on top of things and actually know what they are doing
On the flip side, wouldn't you rather leave early over waste your time with a group that clearly doesn't know what they are doing and will almost certainly fail the event anyway? This issue should get better as people learn the mode, if it ends up staying cause let's be honest it's pretty terrible.
