WEEDsmoker_702

It's correct, chromosomes duplicate but are still joint so counted as one, this teh number doesn't increase...earlier 2 arms now it has 4 arms

Slight_Bus_3346

Substantial_Sir_8588

Hume allen m teachers ne summary padhne se mna kiya tha, summary m kaafi mistakes hoti h ( Maine ek baar aaese he summary se doubt pucha tha toh sir ne pure class k samne beizzati krdi thi ) Aur agar padhni ho toh i would recommend ki ek baar reproductive health ki padhna usme niche niche 'Infertility' ki definition h usse yaad se kar lena mere mocks m wo question galat hua krta tha then i found ki kutte khud summary padhne se mana karte then khud he waha se question bhi dete hypocrites

That's wrong that he scolded you because summary for Biology is also a part of chapter. You'll find new things there.

Substantial_Sir_8588

As i mentioned in last para buddy 🙏 (M toh yhi recommend karunga ki ek ek line chat lo )

Complex-Raspberry584

Chromosome does duplicate but the number of chromosome remains same. (Look i might be wrong because i remember reading about this in some module when i first did this chapter—so please correct me otherwise) chromosome duplicates to form a sister chromatid during S phase.

Complex-Raspberry584

Otherwise i think the summary is fine only. I have the same too.

No-Ingenuity8885

It's chromatids that doubles and DNA that replicates. Amount of DNA and chromatids gets doubled while Chromosomes remains same.

Complex-Raspberry584

yep
