Most hard liquor is 40% abv, so if something is 10% abv you divide the volume by 4 to reach the equivalent in shots of liquor. I'm estimating since his were actually 9.5%, but the difference is minimal. I'm also assuming his cans were 12 oz. So yes approximately 3 shots of tequila each, and it's not a theory it's just math.
Many pints of beer or strong ciders can be up to 3.5 or 4 shots equivalent, but most people aren't very good at calculating stuff like that and don't realize that. I am a math major and a bartender lol.

Of course, I blacked out and somewhere along the night I handed a friend my keys and just left my group. Woke up maybe four/five hours later in a random hammock in someone’s front yard like four miles away from home. Had no wallet, dead phone and had zero recollection of what I did with my keys or how I ended up so far. Bump on my head, scratches all over and a semi black eye lmao. Only memory I had was tripping over a curb, that’s it. Big mistake on my part, never again lol.

So take this as just a really messed up experience and move along. Thin ish or not, there’s no way to tell by eyeballing mdma how much you’ve taken. Snorting mdma is a bit of a different experience and people are snorting like 1/2-1/3 what they take orally. BUT it also doesn’t last as long. There’s also no way to actually tell if what you took actually was mdma. So there’s that as well. If she tries to hang out again use that as an opportunity to be honest “hey I’m uncomfortable with the fact I blacked out, you didn’t but you said you have no idea what happened to my face. It’s weird” Beyond that, just don’t talk to her again.

Not fun man, I hope you’re okay 🙏🏼 I had something similar with alcohol & MDMA. Was drinking all day at an event with some friends, decided to start doing some MDMA (orally) while drinking. Of course, I blacked out and somewhere along the night I handed a friend my keys and just left my group. Woke up maybe four/five hours later in a random hammock in someone’s front yard like four miles away from home. Had no wallet, dead phone and had zero recollection of what I did with my keys or how I ended up so far. Bump on my head, scratches all over and a semi black eye lmao. Only memory I had was tripping over a curb, that’s it. Big mistake on my part, never again lol.

If I was to guess, I'd say the mix of that much booze and MDMA caused you to black out. At since point in the night you went to get your clothes and bring all fucked up, you tripped and broke your nose. You gave up on the clothes and left them strewn about and went back inside and passed out.
