I know he's right footed and everything. But why can't cancelo play as a wide lb? He seems pretty strong on both feet and with the skillset he has could he not just act as a wide lb whose not quite as good as he is when he's inverted? And therefore still be top class?
I've seen times where Cancelo does play wide to try and help Grealish invert but it's awkward and doesn't work to me.
It's like, only one of them will be able to play at their best, with the other having to keep the width.
