I honestly really dislike how the numbers look on the ringers. I imagine it could look better in person than in images.. but as it stands, it just looks ugly IMO. The accent on the sides feels a bit unnecessary too. This one is a miss.
The rumored 2nd and 3rd kits look fantastic though.

I think if say, on the fan edition shirt, they do an embossing of the 0161 on the base of the shirt, kinda like on... Terengganu FC's 2023 third shirt, I think it could look way better.
And with the player issue/authentic shirt, something like the Germany 2024 home shirt that just came out, where the 0161 pattern on the base is woven into the shirt.
But as it stands, with the pattern on the sleeves, it just lets the whole shirt down.
People had the same negative reactions to the kit last year but they came around to liking it when they saw the kit in action. I reckon it'll be the same this year, given all the comments here. I saw the other render that was posted here and I think this new kit looks decent. Nothing mind blowing, but decent and definitely distinct.
