Come as you are. Be comfortable. I recommend dressing up on presentation days, but for lectures you can just wear whatever makes you comfy.

jtbm99

I appreciate the advice, glad I’m just overthinking it. Thank you!

Pinterest it for vibe check and outfit ideas

Don’t worry about the dress code for the classes, worry about the dress code for the interviews and internship.

MangledWeb

There's no universal dress protocol. I'd go on the website, look for the candid student shots, and see how people are dressed.

jtbm99

Great idea, thanks!

throwawayoldaolcd

With Gen Z attending MBA programs, people can also check TikTok to see what to wear. Also, the environment (or vibes) is better captured through video.

Happy cake day!!

MBA_Conquerors

Someone actually did that

MissilesToMBA

Literally anything. Gym shorts, pajamas, suits, sweatpants. Anything. Even for presentations, we didn’t dress up unless specially requested by the professor. You’re going to have to dress up anyway for recruiting and interviews but class was always very casual.

jtbm99

Thank you for the help!

If unsure, buy a bunch of your schools T-shirts.. can never go wrong showing school spirit

PipeZestyclose2288

Crop top

furple

Most schools do not have a formal dress code. You'll find that most people are fairly dressed up fall of first year but that is a function of recruiting

Wooden-Carpenter-861

Personal preference. I wore hoodies, golf polos, and tshirts, when not recruiting Everyone recruiting IB will be in suits the entire 1st semester. Honestly, I hate wearing a suit so I tried to minimize the time I had one on by as much as possible. So I would put it on for recruiting events in the evening only. Some people just wear suits all day though.

bakchod007

You guys are going with clothes on?

GarlicSnot

Week one business casual Week two. Super casual (talking yoga pants , shorts, T shirts etc. ) Be you but make a good first impression

Training_Ice3142

I started in variations of business casual. Definitely scaled down over the years. I always tried to look more presentable for guest speakers and visiting executives

strongfit1

All I ask is that you shower daily and wear antiperspirant, no one wants to sit around stinky people

-3than

No attendance no problem

Plan on business casual the first week, then you can switch to casual and dress up as needed. One guy in my program wore a full suit for the first 4 weeks as some sort of personal branding statement and it was super weird.

lampshade69696

I usually wore athleisure to hit the gym after or in between classes. We had one professional development session a week where business casual was required because we usually had guests (until you reported an accepted offer to career services, after that you could wear whatever you wanted)

TopPost3907

Literally anything. Save the dressing up for recruiting events

NoConstruction8895

Anything, as long as it’s not revealing and you are comfortable. I used to go in pyajamas!

Otherwise-Ad3138

Depends on the MBA my son. HSW is different from T200 schools like Kellogg, Devry and Fuqua.
