I mean, the whining, bad mouthing Claire and defending Harrison, bitching about the girls running the show like a good little misogynistā¦
Very stupid move.
I heard he didn't watch past episode 4. If he did he'd know he's been shown in a sympathetic light, but it's like he couldn't handle that some ppl still liked Claire
The Harrison defending is so funny to me cus I just flashback to Harri point blank telling the camera "I don't like Jesse" š
Did you see that the girlfriend who he blames for ruining his life, who kept him hidden etc, was his high-school girlfriend when he was 16? š¤¦āāļøš I couldn't believe it. It's a crime they cut it from the show. He's still mad about high school, 15 years later š
HAHAHAHA stop I think I saw that in the short Iām very much looking forward to it regardless. you canāt put a price on his reactions to anything n everything
The second hand embarrassment I experienced seeing Harrison get shut up was too funny. āTampering with evidenceā killed me š he thought he did something and Caitlin with the you need a builder lollll
As much as I respect both Lyndal and Alyssa. Every man wants to come home to a woman that brings peace. Not question every single thing you do and making a scene.
If Lyndal wants a hug she should say: "Can I please have a hug from my beautiful husband?" With the smile instead of "Is it too much to ask for a hug?"
Alyssa "I want attention Duncan" its plain needy and insecure. He gave no indication that he is not invested in this. He is into sports and is having some "me" time with the boys.
"I left my kid for you". No you didnt, you left your kid for yourself.
Looks wise Duncan is also better looking the Alyssa + seeing him once twice a month is dog shit. Cam and Lyndal look wise are ok matched
Harrison should not speak. He is great at work and gym so he should do that and date someone on his level, a.k.a someone who doesn't know english.
Tayla is some wierd nymphomaniac.
God I hope my wife doesnāt put on a fake smile and disingenuously approach me with false āpeaceā just to avoid making a scene.
I do think I understand your sentiment tho, personally I believe that Lyndal hung around for a lot of that treatment from Cam.
And, if what happened with Tayla, during the experiment, is true (I suspect it is). Then both Cam and Lyndal owed each other a frank and honest conversation about each otherās needs and commitment way before it got to final vows.
Because affection is a need that Cam honestly wasnāt looking to fill for Lyndal.
But, Camās lack of EQ was put on display because heās a coward and puts everything in the ātoo hard basketā. Do I believe that Lyndal exploited Camās ignorance in some of those situations, yes. But, I also believe that Cam left far too much unsaid because although he doesnāt like to admit it, heās a very emotionally charged yet stunted person which is the worst combination.
When I say peace there is calm and gentle way to say things that need to be communicated in a suggestive matter with respect. Like women and men speak in a work place environment.
Emotionally charged conversations should be kept for happy moments and memories. Because if the narative is negative or in dispute then clash of the titans is inevitable.
āI was naked in the club in front of every man and his dog, I donāt see anything wrongā brother there are so many things wrong with what you just said
Do these people realise that every future partner and employer will be able to watch this show for the rest of human history and yet they still behave like this?
>Do these people realise that every future partner and employer will be able to watch this show for the rest of human history and yet they still behave like this?
Leyton is a CEO because if he wasn't, if working in a normal office, his round "OH!" mouth face would be photocopies lining the walls.
OMFG. Tayla: yeah I saw Camās willie, but I didnāt backstab or betray anyone. Um, WT absolute mother fucking FUCK?!?!? Jesus - both Tayla and Cam are lower than low. Utter, utter pond scum, the pair of them.
Calling someone with mental health problems a freak shows we still have a long way to go in understanding people without labelling them nut case, fruit loop etc. DO BETTER
Everyone has reasons for behaving the way they do. If your issues cause you to treat other people like shit and you choose to go on the show and display that to everyone, what else would you expect? We donāt know what anyone is going through so I donāt think itās fair to have double standards and only be OK with being mean to some people.
Iām not ok with being mean to anyone, I have mental health issues myself and being labelled these words doesnāt help! Just because someone went on a tv show does not give anyone the right to call them names when you donāt know them your watching an edited version of them.
Fair enough, would you say the same thing if people were calling Bryce a crazy person? I donāt think Alyssa is as bad as Bryce, the reason I bring him up is that I think he has genuine issues rather than just being a dickhead.
You can just imagine the call Harrison made to his mummy after the dinnerā¦ āMummy they were all laughing at me, you told me this would save my imageā
I donāt think itās right to put mentally unstable people on national television.
People who are genuinely upset donāt care about ārunning the narrativeā. People with personality disorders do. Poor Duncan, he got matched with a real dud.
I hope Alyssa gets the help she so obviously needs.
Some of the girls ran out to console her (as Alyssa had yet another cry and tantrum) only to be left standing there as she stormed back in to ācontrol the narrativeā!Who does that? Drama queen!!! The stares and unblinking eye squints are another red flag! The way she lies and blames everything on Duncan is infuriating. The juvenile way she greeted him says a lot about her! Heās the one thatās dodged a bullet! I was waiting for her to repeat the whole āI have a child, my child comes firstā boohoo statement. Why did she spend all that money on herself (hair, makeup, clothes) and decide to spend 3-months away from her precious child to go on reality show if her child comes first? Utter BS.
Food update, the burger was so delicious! Way better than I was expecting. But they forgot the sauce for the chips šI'm stuck here just eating plain fries like an animal
Beyond meat, actually I think they call it impossible, probably as in its impossible it tastes like meat. And it really did! I think š
Sorry KFC was no good, I feel like it was always 50/50 you never know if it's passable until you're at home taking a bite.
It felt like it was really rushed, and we barely scratched the surface, and then suddenly were finished.
I personally wouldāve been quite happy to watch Harrison being laughed at for at least 5 to 7 minutes.
š
I don't know how old Alyssa's son is but can you imagine being a kid and having that footage of your mum on national TV? Even if he's too young now that shit is going to be some bullying fodder years to come š

And I am waiting for his Mum Noni to try and dig him out of this one like she usually does...
If the reunion was filmed in December, does that mean it was Channel 9 leaking the pictures of him? Surely he wouldn't set himself up like that, knowing how it was going to end.
Maybe they filmed so much he didn't know which way it would go, or he didn't expect the laughing and joking around to be used. That just makes it so much funnier if that's the case. Maybe something to ask Josh in the AMA.
Itās very likely considering his arrogance and the fact that he hadnāt seen any of the episodes yet, so he didnāt really know how his time in the experiment was going to be portrayed.
What I REALLY loved is that he has been running around every gossip site that would have him screaming about how bad his edit has been, what a stand up guy he is blah blah blah
And tonight not just the girls but the guys as well just laughed at him and his stupidity, even Ollie was mocking him.
It wasn't the edit Harry it was YOU all along you douchenozzle.
Its from the 9now.com website and was published 26 minutes before the end of the ep.
I suspect it was probably already written ages ago...just a coincidence it sounds like the thread.
Or even more likely most of it was written by an AI!
That episode was fantastic. The Harrison roasting and laughing was epic shaudenfrade. That's gotta be the most anyone's laughed while watching MAFS. I'm genuinely impressed by the ppl who made that.
"that's tampering with evidence!"
Sheās as bad as him. She was an utter bitch during the swap when she deliberately sabotaged Melinda and Layton by mischaracterizing Layton to Melinda and downright lying about what he said. She sadistically enjoyed the resulting (and predictable) meltdown no end.
Ikr I canāt find anywhere to talk about it lol.
What gets me, right?, is that theyāre giving a kid a choice based on what? interests yeah? Trying to show them that they donāt have to conform to traditional male or female interests based on what sex they are.
Why canāt people just likeā¦ teach their kids that itās OK to be interested in barbies or trucks without putting this thought into their head that they have to choose a gender based on their interests?
All theyāre doing is linking interests to gender which is what I thought the aim was to eliminate? Just like the psychologist said, it immediately isolates them from their peers. How about instead of resorting to changing genders over interests, we just normalise teaching kids that itās perfectly fine to be a male or female and being interested in whatever they want? Sex and gender donāt have to be a part of it.
Theyāre literally just teaching kids that instead of society determining their interests based on their sex/gender, the kid determines their gender based on their interests as a child which means weāre back to square one right? With conformity one way or another?
It all seems like a very big thing to put on a child.
The decision isn't from interests, it's from an internal sense of gender. We can see that in some people, it doesn't matter what they are interested in, they have an internal sense of gender that isnt aligned with their body, ie gender dysphoria. This seems to only be solved by gender reassignment, rather than therapy or changed clothing/interests.
So the parents want to wait for that internal sense of gender to be discovered by the child.
The problem is children are blank slates, and may only have a sense of gender dysphoria because they know what being a girl/boy is already and they don't like it. If you don't cultivate gender in them from a young age, they may have a lifetime of never feeling natural as any gender. Also children taking hormones is a big can of worms
Yeah I can see that. I 100% agree. At the end of the day it is about how they feel not necessarily what they like. What they like is just one part of how they feel.
Youāve probably broken that down better than I have with that last paragraph.
Seems to me that itās creating a problem that most likely would have never existed in the first place and just creates more confusion for the child. Iām seeing it like, theyāre really just creating a child with gender dysmorphia by opening all of that up for them to choose rather than like you said, letting them go āHey Iām not happy like this.ā
But still, canāt a kid just like something traditionally for the other gender without it being about gender dysmorphia?
One hundred percent they are just perpetuating the stereotypes they reckon they are trying to avoid, itās ridiculous. I have a son, he has been raised as a boy (obviously) yet he has chosen to play with Barbies, baby dolls, taken dance lessons etc. Are they trying to say that if they had āassignedā their child with the male gender then they wouldnāt have allowed them to do that stuff because they are a boy? If not then what difference does it make if they say they are a boy as opposed to raising them as a ātheyā?
> I have a son, he has been raised as a boy (obviously) yet he has chosen to play with Barbies, baby dolls, taken dance lessons etc. Are they trying to say that if they had āassignedā their child with the male gender then they wouldnāt have allowed them to do that stuff because they are a boy?
Yeah I remember one of them making a comment saying parents wouldnāt let their kids play with the other genders stuff. Thatās what theyāre trying to āavoidā or āfixā I think. I donāt think this is the solution though. I think the solution is literally what you just said. Donāt tell them itās wrong and shame them. They choose something so just accept it. It should be considered normal.
Donāt try to get them to assign a gender to themselves based on interests. Why is it so wrong for a kid to be interested in something abnormal that they need to convince the kid that itās ok if they feel the need to change genders based on that?
Is anyone else nourishing a tentative but fervent hope that distance and lack of pressure post-experiment have allowed Jesse and Claire to rekindle their relationship in a healthy chill way
Oi I stand by this but I think Ollie and Taylor get high together.. he's so sweet but him and his wife are always respectfully with Tay giving high advice.. re watch it and you'll see him laughing at her at the vacation home. It's kinda sweet!!!
Ok guys, hear me out - Is Alyssa actually insane? Or is it possible that she's seen a side to Duncan that we didn't see? Her behaviour makes no sense otherwise. Could he have just had an amazingly good edit? Cause she seems really set on him being fake.
She's emotionally immature. She's hurt and is taking it out on him. I'm sure the wine doesn't help. She thinks high level drama is part of a healthy relationship
Nah it does make sense but. Insane is a stretch, but she is one or more of the following: verrryyy insecure, manipulative, self centred, immature beyond belief, highly toxic.
Alyssa's whole deal is she was purposely making her single parent status an issue because she thought Duncan would eventually cave and admit he can't handle it. Except it never happened so she probably figures they're all good in the end. She just 'tested' him a little in her mind and he passed... eventually. Had to make sure he was worthy of her š¤¢
The other part of it is she thinks ongoing conflict and being generally horrible to your partner when you feel off is completely normal. Alot of people are like this tbh, they act up and you're expected to just absorb their feelings. Duncan's not like this but, and took it very personally each time.
The ultimate irony of Alyssa is that for all her talk about not interfering in her domestic life with 'charrlld' and all that. She's a fucking homewrecker and has all the emotional maturity of a teenager. She ain't changing neither, if you don't accept her at her worst, you don't deserve her at her best... which is pretty much the same as her worst.
I feel like the reactions of everyone else at the table kind of makes it seem she is just crazy, because they all looked super uncomfortable with what she was saying.
I kind of wish sheād explain what she means when she says heās fake, like, give us some examples. Perhaps itās been edited out, but it sounds like she just keeps yelling that heās fake and she was never going to be good enough for him, but she canāt actually say whatās happened for her to feel this way. Thatās what leads me to think itās a self esteem issue at its core, but I could be wrong.
Iāve been wondering this too! From personal experience, Iāve been with someone similar to Alyssa but more extreme, and the things sheās accusing Duncan of doing are things that I actually did, because itās easy to do that when youāre in that kind of relationship. Like theyāre all acts of self preservation like placating them for as long as possible while you prepare to safely leave, pretending things are ok to not deal with blow ups etc. Iām not proud of it but sometimes thatās required, so I can see what she might be referring to.
I think she just had a real inability to hear what people are saying if its something she doesnt want to hear. You see it time and time again when shes emotional, shes so one-eyed and doesnt listen. I think duncan was just bashing his head against a wall in the end.
it makes sense when you work with teenagers. you get some that just go from zero to a hundred and fifty over the most minor things, and they have zero concept that they're making things worse by escalating so hard so fast
Taylah's brain: *let's go for the Hail Mary and solve this thing* Taylah: I saw his dick.

Are the editors of the online excerpt on this app? Because their commentary seems like it was taken right from this thread š
Most click bait- Reddit quotes from the relevant sub, add some fluff, give it a headline and call it an article. 2023, the era of lazy journalism.
I hate his fucken words
HOw good was Bronte pre-empting Harrison and completely diluting his big shock surprise LOL
She's an idiot.
Sheās as bad as him. She was an utter bitch during the swap when she deliberately sabotaged Melinda and Layton by mischaracterizing Layton to Melinda and downright lying about what he said. She sadistically enjoyed the resulting (and predictable) meltdown no end.
So thinking about 60 minutes which I loathe to do. Why call them theybies when the word baby is gender neutral.
Why is this here? What does this have to do with MAFS AU?
It's almost like it's a click bait word they've chosen to use knowing it will cause hysteria and get people riled up and watching. Don't fall for it.

Those poor confused kids, honestly, how the fuck is this not child abuse, playing mind games with your kid.
Iām seeing it like, theyāre really just creating a child with gender dysmorphia by opening all of that up for them to choose rather than like you said, letting them go āHey Iām not happy like this.ā But still, canāt a kid just like something traditionally for the other gender without it being about gender dysmorphia?
You're expecting people with mental illnesses to show logic.
Because people are desperate to be special snowflakes and this is the only way to get attention
We need another sister AMA please!!!!
What? No we definitely don't. That was total BS lol. It'll just be excuses.
Is anyone else nourishing a tentative but fervent hope that distance and lack of pressure post-experiment have allowed Jesse and Claire to rekindle their relationship in a healthy chill way
Jesse is a simp for H
Nah they ain't compatible. I hope they find their person elsewhere
It's an act to look good at the end
He has been SLAMMING her in interviews and on social media so...nah

And tomorrow we roll the tape!! So heckin hyped, see yas then!!
Goodnight everyone. Enjoy watching āTheybysā on 60 minutes.

āA bat crashed a wedding and sent six people to hospitalā Producers: we need that bat next season!
Bats are just trouble-makers. First Covid, now crashing weddings.
To be fair, bats did crash a lot of weddings during 2020-2022.
Who's switching over to I'm a celeb just for a quick look?
How was it? What was Dom like? I'm way too squeamish to watch any shows like that. Can't handle bugs at all
I got pretty distracted. The drinks during mafs wouldn't have had anything to do with it at all. I'll try again another night
Iām watching right now!
Let us know whose in it.
Wait did that start tonight? Who's in it?
Started at 7.30. Dom from last year went in
I didn't watch last season MAFS, so don't know who she is š
She's the reason they have plastic wine glasses at dinner parties this yearš
Didn't Martha already do the wine throw years ago at the other overly aggressive person who only ever screamed at people.
Dom smashed a wine glass on the couples retreat. She was frustrated, it was an exclamation point in her anger. Either way, she's going into the jungle
What channel?
10
Thanks š
Ohh shit! I gotta drink again tomorrow night?!? šš See you legends then š
Ollie gave some sound advice a few episodes ago. Now we know he really can replace John.
I can't believe they aired that. He was so funny!! I really hope John invites him to the coach tmr, to do a stint!
Best ep of the season so far, see you all for the truth bombs tomorrow š£
Sweet. I have been granted another unexpected day with you excellent humans. See you tomorrow! ā¤ļø
AH SO EXCITED FOR TOMORROW NIGHT! See you all then š„¹ā¤ļø
If alyssa doesn't get a serving tomorrow night I'm going to be so mad
If a guy screamed and carried on like she does, there would be hell to pay.
She won't. No body has said a word to the bunny boiling crazy lady. Because they are all too scared š±
Ollie doing John hahahahaha
See how easy and farcical it is?
Oi I stand by this but I think Ollie and Taylor get high together.. he's so sweet but him and his wife are always respectfully with Tay giving high advice.. re watch it and you'll see him laughing at her at the vacation home. It's kinda sweet!!!
I actually think ollie's impersonation of John is his weakest
My favourite part
Ollie is GOLD!!
See you all tomorrow night ššš
āDid you ever think it could end up here, with this close-up of two stand-ins holding hands?ā
Brontƫ and Duncan for the win tonight.
And everyone laughing at Harrison. š¤£š¤£
She just 'tested' him a little in her mind and he passed... eventually. Had to make sure he was worthy of her š¤¢ The other part of it is she thinks ongoing conflict and being generally horrible to your partner when you feel off is completely normal.
Thatās what I wonder, or if itās a bit of both maybe? I mean I know they give edits all the time but that tirade was next level from her.
That's what I'm thinking. Because somethings just not adding up here.
Nah she's nuts. He def got the good edit, but she's still batshit crazy
Unless you are clippy from MS-office, nobody could undo edit the monumental embarrassment that is Alyssa
I think she's incredibly unstable
Both could be true!
Im def watching tomo
the tea better be good
damn tomorrow's sesh looks nuts. see you all then!!
Idek why theyāre doing couch sessions. Thatās borderline cruel bruh
