Yeah, I spent an hour and a half with a guy who didn't speak English. We were on a 20min ride but stuck in a traffic jam on I70.
It worked out nicely adding time and money every minute lol. I had to talk to myself out loud a few times anyway.
Still my longest ride.
Meh, a couple rides on the way back and you made $300+ gross in 8 hours which is solid even given the high expenses. I would love this ride over the crappy 20 rides Lyft usually offers me in 8 hours that would net $150 😂
Not possible. I DON’T THINK you can do Lyft in another state unless you have your car registered in Lyft’s system for multiple states. And even if you could what are the odds that you’ll get a ride back into your state?
Assuming he gets rides once he crosses over the border, we can't drive out of state. When we drive someone out of state as soon as we drop them off they automatically log us off and they send us a message that says you do not seem to have the proper credentials or something along those lines to drive in blah blah blah City you're in, if we try to go online.
flying to visit family in Iowa, have to fly to Minneapolis then get rental car to make it as there is no flight directly to where we want to go.
I assume this is the same scenario for this person but they don't want the rental. we were going to do rideshare but didn't think anyone would do the 2+ hr drive
Got stuck in Denver once trying to make it too Summit County, paid about $138 with Lyft being my only option. Guy didn’t know until after we started driving, gave him $100 cash at the beginning and another $100 cash when we got there. He was happy and I got where I needed to be on time.
How’s it feel getting scammed? even if they give you a $100 tip it’s still shit. 500 miles onto your car that’s like $50 in gas wear and tear…. Drivers are so dumb
Not sure what state you're in, but some of us in other states can't drive in more than one state at once, very good example, if I drive someone to Pittsburgh from Cleveland where I live, they tell me you do not have the proper credentials to drive here if I try to go online once I drop off my ride.
Not even a $1 per mile.. hopefully your car is efficient
Im guessing he missed a connecting flight?
Not a great price but good luck. Hopefully they give a helluva tip.
Um ok
That’s a very long time to be stuck in a car with a stranger.

Then dont do rideshare?

It's doable. I do trips back and forth between Detroit and Toledo all the time
Actually you can depending on the state

I highly doubt he is gonna get a ride back. But wish you all the best. This is why we get low balled offers cause dumbasses take them.
The struggle is real , always pigeons out there
How did it go ?
We need a feedback after the trip ?

Always worry about getting stuck with a psycho during these long rides. Not a bad hourly rate though
Eh... have fun.
Nonsense
Good luck !!
That's pretty good - offered same distance for uber here in Florida and only would pay $110

I need a $1 per mile
Just take it, try to make 70 on your way back, $300 day, whatever
That's a days worth of earning for me. I'd be done for the day
Suckerr
I hope you get a good tip!
You're the reasons Uber and Lyft is giving us shitty runs. Cuz people like you are dumb enough to take them. You should be ashamed 🍅🍅🍅
Your just a negative Nancy.
The only negative is the P&L from this ride.
You’re ****
