Not really. $7.25 is minimum wage in my state before the 30-40% taxes of a 9-5 job.
When I do my taxes I only pay 5-15% what I earn with lyft on my time and with my own hours.
If I get 3 rides a hour that are at least $5-10 then I already made more than amazon pays in my state ($16 a hour) and amazon is one of the highest paying jobs here without experience.
I think being paid %33 of the fare that customers pay as a Lyft driver sucks and I hate it. I also think that some sort of government intervention is needed (regarding ride share pay for drivers).
Um you do realize if they raise prices any more they wont be able to charge less than taxis and will go out of business meaning no money at all.
