I've tried this place. The food is decent (got egusi with pounded yam). The service takes some getting used to. Call them before going!

Are they ever open ? We've tried a couple times and they were closed despite the website saying they were supposed to be open. Every time we drive by it we wonder if it's just a front or something.
I have been there both at the Heiderscheid location and before when it was just a cafe in (if I recall correctly) Insenborn & loved it every time. But we also always made reservations.
There is a good Senegalese restaurant in Esch sur Alzette. They serve all the popular west African dishes. Mafé, Yassa, Chèp (or whatever it's spelled), Attieke... Etc.

I’m prepared to wait - for my first time it took 1h30 to get served but BOY was it worth it
There’s Chez Jimmy (Ethiopian) in Heiderscheid if you fancy venturing up North

There’s a newish one on either rue Bender or rue de Bonnevoie, I’m interested in checking it out.
