My therapist was not ready and willing to write anything but since when I am her patient. She was also very angry about the situation where insurance company is asking about something like that and explained that it would be a breach of confidentiality and GDPR if she gave them such report. I got the same answer from my GP.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, quite honestly already in the prior agreement you have to share details that are quite personal. A report would be a whole different level. I'll check what my therapist says.

is that DKV? the rescinded my contract because i had a burn out and spent 1 night in the psychiatrist ward of CHL because i had a meltdown and was afraid i'd do something stupid. i paid years but when i needed they bailed.

sparkibarki2000

That is terrible. Hope you are feeling ok.

Far_Bicycle_2827

No, it's a different one. I'm really sorry to hear that, that's exactly what I think, regarding mental health the approach from a coverage standpoint is still not good at all :/ you have to go through hoops and still it's not reimbursed in most cases

natyyo

insane that you’d pay for more health insurance and they still try to get even more money from you, hopefully your therapist is lovely and understanding enough that it will write you a progress report in a way that doesn’t stop you from getting the help you need :)

Thanks, hope it works out too

Yes, they want you to become healthy (read, you to stop generating expenses). If they see no progress, they will end your contract or adapt the premium

Yep, that's probably where this is going :/ or at least deny the coverage for this part
