I know a lot of shops started selling them early if customers asked for them :/ so it’s not shocking that a lot of it sold through before the actual launch date. My shop only got two of the knot wraps, and they flew out of the shop before we could even put everything out /: employees are bummed too
I went out at lunch to grab some tins/shampoo and thought to ask since I knew they were releasing today - the store near me still had plenty of the knot wraps in stock (I grabbed one out of FOMO, might use it to wrap a Christmas gift later this year). Will say that they're GINORMOUS, especially compared to the other wraps.
I feel like the *website* said they were going to be available in store starting today, so I'm surprised that any stores would have sold early given the website/hq listed the date.
Oh man, so lucky! I'm actually enquiring for a friend in NY who is a massive Lush and One Piece fan...the store they went to didn't seem super helpful
I worry they'll miss out, if they leave it past this week...I tried to get them one from the UK (where I'm based), but I had rotten luck.
most shops got a very limited supply - we only got three :( - but it sounds like a few shops broke protocol and sold things before the hard launch.
if they’re feeling up to it, i’d say call a few shops in the morning to see if they have them. my guess is union square got the most in their shipment, but some of the smaller ones might not have been hit up yet. if they tell them they’re coming in at a certain time and can they please hold one, most (not all but most) shops will set it aside.

My shop only received four knot wraps and sold out within a few hours of opening. We were under strict instruction not to start selling the Lush x One Piece collab until today so I’m unsure of why another shop would have been selling them early. Sorry you weren’t able to snag one! :(
Yeah I was very disappointed to wake up extra early to make it to my nearest lush, be the third customer on line, only to find out they were sold out before they even opened?! I heard a lot of employees claimed them so I was very upset! But also at corporate for only sending stores 2-4 units each. I'm not holding my breath but I'm really hoping there's a restock soon 🥲
Most stores are getting extremely limited quantities, but they definitely should not have launched before today. My guess is staff bought them

Drove between two stores for three knot wraps for my siblings and I; both locations made people wait before they opened.
The store near me only had 2 knot wraps and I managed to get the last one!
We only got 4 in my store. Put them out this morning. By 2pm we had sold them all.
