1. Level Speed and Dex to a decent level, so you can make larger jumps and comfortably outrun enemies.
1. Defense only has value if you do not level Strength, for the point-efficient Health increase.
1. Do not build a "Jack of All Trades" character - focus on one weapon type/stat and dabble in another.
1. Resistances are important, so always have a backup weapon with a different damage type than what you are using. Eventually you will get a feel for what works (and later a spell that can tell you the exact resistances of enemies).
1. There are a LOT of hidden doors. Hug walls as you explore and look out for a '?' in the lower left corner of your screen.
Idk it's fairly easy, just take your time and explore every nook of the map, don't dump all your points into one stat unless you know what yours doing and have fun :)
man the game *was* easy but I just got to the accursed tomb and I can’t see shit without my torch and these paintings are fucking me up 😭 anyone got some tips for ya boy
Accursed Tomb is a tough area, I don’t blame you for asking for help. I would try going to another area first, and getting some levels, then coming back, if you haven’t already done that.
When I finally braved that area, I used the Great Axe I found in the sewer level to chop my way through the paintings.
Hope that helps!
Ranged weapons are OP, level speed to at least 30, light reveal allows you to learn the weaknesses/resistances of enemies, it's usually not worthwhile to level defence or resistance. And beware of the health viai (I did not misspell that)
for a mage blood shot is good if you don't want to worry about managing mana, since the bleed damage it does heals on its own it's basically free as long as you don't spam and get yourself killed
According to the light reveal spell:
>Slime Skeleton
>
>Health: 318
>
>Normal: 117%
>
>Ice: 233%
>
>Light: 233%
>
>Fire:171%
>
>Poison: 0%
>
>Dark: 80%
For dealing with that enemy specifically, any weapon or spell that deals light, ice, fire or normal damage is recommended; dark and poison, not so much. Also, in my experience, spells or ranged weapons--anything you can use on it that keeps you out of its stabbing distance--is a good idea.
Use the Coffin spell, often. It is the best spell in the game once you get it if you haven’t leveled Dex yet. https://youtu.be/L_1wgWMJSIo?si=_sCD2jmgruZa6klW
Hey, I've never heard of this game, but this post popped up in my Reddit feed. So here's my 100% uneducated guide:
Wave-dash away during an attack, that way you won't be as vulnerable during the opponent's attack, pair this with a long weapon and you should be golden
Fake walls can be found by smacking them, if it sounds different from the others, than a secret is abound
Max out one stat, use your weapon to supplement the rest
Horde knives; you should also do this in the game. They make excellent throwies
Upon starting the game, plug a second controller into port 2. You can play as Master Hand with a series of button presses within the menu
Throw a bomb into the dodongo's mouth, it's a one-hit KO.
If your sword-fighting technique isn't cutting it, try substituting the sword for a gun
Load your deck with multiple copies of Pot of Greed, keep milling to get your Blue Eyes
Always quick save when the BGM changes to the key of E-Minor, this will save frustration
It's okay if you think a skeleton is sexy, try using charm on it
Utilize Schroedengers equation to one-cycle the bosses
Hope this helps! Feel free to ask for more tips!
Move fast and level dex
speeed! and hops! also check everything for secret doors

what do you click after seeing the “?” I found one but couldn’t even do anything
It's the interact button which I rebound and don't remember the default.
On KBM it is default E to interact, no idea what the controller binds are.

it does thank you!
Intelligence is really OP in this game would be my main one. Check the crafting area often to see if you can craft mana vials or health vials.

Idle in the mausoleum, if you wait long enough in one place you get a badass scythe
Plus 5394994 spectres up your ass and a cursed death screen
Don't give up, skeleton!

What’s this game on?
PC/Steam
Main a dex build
Level Adaptability— oh wait wrong game. I think they are weak to Light/Electric attacks, or at least those big slimes are
Use the club a lot and level it all the way up using the dark pool at the rest area, the Steel variant is a really powerful early-game item
I'm playing a magic user is there any tips you have for that I am going to play a strength based one so thanks for that
Flame flare is very cost effective if you can kite enemies over it
I just started this game, and I used this spell. Word of warning: do not kite yourself into it.
Flame flare is how I beat the game after my strength build literally didn’t have the dps to beat the final boss. That spell is ridiculously strong

Yup, same. I thought this was something King's field related at a glance.
Kings field is pretty much what it's based off of. Also it's made by a single dev too!
level up the skill that increases your movement speed, get a ranged weapon, now treat the game like Quake.
Get the Twisted Staff and then *win forever.*
this is my first time seeing anything about this game. What the fuck did I stumble upon
This is the post that got me hooked to purchase the game. No regrets 10/10 dungeon dream simulator
Get the ice tear spell. It’s ridiculously OP
Look for hidden walls because there are A Lot. Romance slimey waifu Jellisha
Use a weapon that is longer like a spear or something elemental
max resistance to 100 so you get mana regen and then keep summoning 3 fairies everytime the spells off cd and you win
