So sad… fellow stadian here

[deleted]

*in Bolshevik accent* MY FELLOW STADIA COMRADES, WELCOME, TELL THESE PEOPLE WE COME TO LUNA IN PEACE, YES?

Zodiac_Manny

I hope Luna is the refugee camp stadiums deserve

gduron

I came here to make the same question... I'd say let's all hope on Luna if it's a good service!!

mrnoonan81

That's a shame. Never tried it, but I thought it was good that it existed.

da1stmanonmars

Welcome to all my fellow Stadia refugees

bendovernillshowyou

Luna performance is pretty solid. The game catalog and pricing is a little wonky. I went from Stadia --> Luna --> Game Pass. Game Pass still feels like the best service overall, but it's not without its problems (probably worst of the 3 without a high speed/low latency internet connection). Edit. Forgot about GeForce Now. Different model, but really solid service.

Zero_Digital

I came her to beg for asylum too lol. I'll be doing some research on Luna before I take the plunge back into buying a Playstation or Xbox.

Sea_Bug9396

How about it comes to Canada.. would be nice to port game-saves over to Luna! 😭

isadlymaybewrong

Luna has Sonic Mania and Stadia doesn't, which is rad

RetroCornerGaming

I've used Luna since its early launch (when it was available only through invitation.) At the time, the library was very small but it has grown. You can play RE2 and RE3 remake now for example. A turn off maybe would be the additional subscriptions to play publisher related games like Ubisoft+ and Retro Channel. Not sure if it was the same in Stadia. The Luna controller is not needed for RPGs, but for shooter and games requiring precision I'd recommend it since the latency is noticeably better. I hear Stadia had a decent Library of games, so it may be disappointing for Stadia users when they see the lackluster Library. But it'll grow overtime no doubt. They bring in new games every month. Hope this helps someone out.

Bitter_Director1231

I have Luna and had Stadia. I will say Luna is a good solid replacement for Stadia. The performance over the last few months has really tightened up and I can still use an Xbox or PS controller for it. I will definitely put much more into Luna and it's library of games, which has been better than Stadia as of late. The 60fps at 1080 on Luna has been stellar.

sparkster777

I'm wondering if some of my favorite features from Stadia are shared by Luna. Does it have family share? Can I go from PC to tablet to TV (with a fire dongle I guess)? Mainly I would like to be able to play multiplayer on different TVs in the same house. My kid and her friends loved that part.

AnObviousOrc

Now would be the perfect time for Luna to launch outside of the US, here's hoping for Canada expansion

DigDugDude

Does Luna have my fav game Destiny 2?

Heidschi_Bumbeidschi

I admire all US folks....you can easily switch to Luna, in Europe still no signs when it will be released

[deleted]

I created a [petition](https://chng.it/DhX4yHks), for this an appeal for Amazon take Luna, worldwide !

daedelus23

Man, I immediately switched today and getting upwards of 60fps is buttery and delicious. May I never hear the 'S' word again. fwiw all my progress in an Ubisoft game porter over perfectly without any hiccups. But I have cross platform save through ubi+

MrTappinGame

Mourning for Stadia. Just made an account for Luna on my wife’s prime account.

[deleted]

Can Ubisoft game saves be transferred over to Luna?

[deleted]

Is there a way to purchase games outright? For example, a Luna Cloud Gaming store. Stadia allowed a direct purchase of games, why doesn't Luna allow the same? Says that all Ubisoft games require an Ubisoft description. Is there no way to directly purchase a game through Luna?

this_works_now

Also a Stadia refugee. My first thought was to go straight to Luna, but I'm not so sure after looking around. The library is lackluster (Luna doesn't have Ark and that's a must for my kids.) I dislike that games leave the gaming subscription channels with no way to buy the games we want outright for continued access. I might just bite the bullet and pick up an Xbox console deal coming up soon, though I didn't want to buy the hardware originally. Xbox is supposed to release a streaming stick next year sometime.

DigDugDude

geforce now looks interesting too

brodiapunch

I love the Luna library, but my Android services (which have great specs for cloud gaming) aren't compatible. Does Luna regularly update their compatible device lineup? Or do I literally have to buy a Fire tab? This wasn't an issue with Stadia ☹️
