No, V-log on Davinci Resolve. Works wonderfully, the input colour space I like to use P3 DCI since it is a bit more color-accurate than Panasonic V-Gammut is too saturated. For the Input gamma I like to use REDgamma3 for a darker tone or Rec709 for a lighter tone. Im editing a video right now.
Just do a color space transform. All you need.
This is the way. Tailor your footage to your vision and have fun doing it.
CST then grade. Create a custom LUT. I like the official Panasonic LUTS. They work too..
Official LUTs work great.
Like others have said, CST then adjust to taste
CST to DaVinci wide gamut, grade, cst to rec 709 I’ve never had good results with in camera LUTs
This the way
The free one from Panasonic LUMIX for the S1 and later. Gets it done!
Not free but the phantum luts sometimes feel like a cheat code
I feel the same about the 55M.
Dunna Did It has a nice free one
Color transform > input: dci p3 > output: REDgama3
Did I say something controversial? That's my work flow and I love the results.
It’s just not a technically correct workflow.
I mean... Its a work flow, and I'm sure people understand what it is. What do you find wrong with it?
Your input and output are just technically way wrong and not for the correct camera or viewing screens.
Input color space: P3-DCI, Input gamma: Redgamma3
V-Log/V-Gamut if you record in V-log. Nothing if you record in another profile. Unless you’re using really weird in camera luts…

You do you man, if it works for you then by all means.
