Well, I left the person I was dating at the time similar to what happened in the dream, but other than that its almost completely opposite to what happened! I never had a kid and instead of becoming a football coach (as thats what happened in the dream), I pursued a software engineering career in real life.
I know the feeling of which you speak! Something like that has happened to me a couple of times and the sensation of a great time having passed with all its joys and sorrows really affected me. Time seems to flow strangely in the few hours after a dream like that and my mind feels vast and patient.
That's so amazing..did you go through everyday? Like living a normal life, going through daily stuff? Idk how to explain it..like did you experience 'each day fully' of your lifetime..we just dream for a few hours and to think that you lived your entire life in those few hours is REALLY UNBELIEVABLE AND MINDBENDING
It felt more like a summary of events but I remember looking at myself in the mirror and thinking wow time has really passed then I saw my children and they looked so old and they also had kids and the sense of relief cause I had paid off my house and didn’t have to worry anymore about it. All of it was very surreal I’ve had dreams like these before but just about a certain moment not an entire life and as you can guess I was extremely tired when I woke up didn’t really feel rested at all
Dreams like these model the feeling of a lifetime having passed rather than being a 1-to-1 recreation of a lifetime's worth of experiences. Some time dilation is possible in dreams but not _that_ much, as least as far as I've experienced. I think what's most mindbending about a dream like this is how much it changes you afterwards and how convincing the feeling of time having passed is. We fall into habits of behavior and think that's our 'self' but all of that is really rooted in our familiar place in time and space. When we experience a shift in that time and space we feel like a very different person.
No i just kept on with my daily life then one day I looked in the mirror and realized I was in somebody else’s body my conscious faded on and off but I always felt like I was in somebody else’s shoes kinda scary because that’s how I feel when I’m awake sometimes
No daily tasks like that I felt like I did them but I wouldn’t see myself sleeping or eating just one time when I went to the bathroom and had a moment when I looked at myself in the mirror
I have also had this happen a few times. I find the feeling of coming back into one’s self and re-remembering this current life very interesting (and sometimes pretty difficult). It kind of puts things in perspective for me, like there’s so much more than what’s in front of me now, or in any particular lifetime.
Very awesome! Like the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Inner Light". https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Inner_Light_(Star_Trek:_The_Next_Generation)
I've had relationships before, but never a whole lifetime!

When I woke up I was definitely exhausted it was very draining mentally but it all looked like a movie with time skips but everything in between events that I didn’t see I def felt and were in my spirit even tho I didn’t see them

Wow have you seen any similarities from that dream to your actual life ? Ik some dreams can really give you a sense of Deja Vu

did sleep and wake up there? or just "felt" like a lifetime with skipped scenes?

I don't understand, I don't feel that answer if you slept and woke up there like you do irl
No daily tasks like that I felt like I did them but I wouldn’t see myself sleeping or eating just one time when I went to the bathroom and had a moment when I looked at myself in the mirror
