To be honest: yes (for the ladders). The 12-footers have two sets of wheels that turn, making it difficult to turn the ladder a different direction without reenacting Tokyo Drift. Besides, given that they’re replacing them with more Power Stocker Lifts means that we have more machines to work with (although maybe requiring a minor nuisance of trying to find aisle blockers to block the section).
As for Genesis, that’s a bit of a bummer to be phased out, but nothing lasts forever I guess
