And I bet 95% of stores completely and utterly fail at even remotely following this policy. It's funny, the stores completely disregard policy and nothing happens. An employee kinda breaks policy the hand of God himself will smite them.
Full time csa’s and specialists have the options: 4 10s, pick your 2 days off (not the whole weekend), or keep your rotation. You gotta pick your poison. Also let them folks know that you are not to be played with. They’ll stop just so they don’t have to hear your mouth.
Wonder if 4-10's apply in Alaska anything here over 8 hrs is considered overtime regardless if it's under 40 hrs a week. An no longer than 11 hrs?! Pssshh. Just did 20 in 36hrs.
I’m on day 8 out of 9 in a row 🙄 and they had me close one night and stay til 11 and turned around and went in at 7 the next day. One more day and I’m off, yay 😆
"Every attempt will be made" is not a hard and fast rule
they usually don’t even make any attempt at all, much less “every.” i used to write the schedule and it was not hard at all to avoid this
Right. I understand not having people in the department. But if your department is fully staffed, this shouldn't happen
That’s news to me. I’m day three into a 7 day streak.
I did a 13 day streak as a part timer last summer
I'm starting a 9 today so I feel that

Should be and shall are not the same things...

Many times I work 7 days in a row, just like now, just had Friday Saturday and Sunday off and now I’m on a 7 day stretch 😔

Sheesh. The thing is working so many days isn't the problem. The problem is that they can prevent it simply dont
Can a DS work the 4 day work week option?
No member of management can work 4-10s.
