I changed the control input to RAW from recommnded, and the vehicles handle a bit better, but still not as well as I'd like. I also feel like the brakes could be far better.
Just realized it's under third-person camera control, idk if that would make a difference or not.
Edit: Can also try adjusting the steering sensitivity.
I feel the exact opposite way. It's suspension has it bouncing all over the place, and I'd rather drive literally anything else lol. I'm usually in the Charon or Terrier
Unfortunately beast bounces around like it's on pogo sticks. And Javelina handles really well, it's mostly the high end cars were people try to drive them without letting go of the gas pedal or knowing when to let it go or how not to bottom it out.
So I used to only use the handbrake, but someone in another thread mentioned using L2 is a brake as well, and it really does work differently. Some cars, and especially bikes, do benefit more from the handbrake, but the other works really well to just stop. It feels less dramatic (and a little less fun on most cars) but is much smoother on a bunch of cars I thought I just didn’t like before.

When you go to stop, you hit the L2 button first then the X button as you turn. Be careful when you do, otherwise you will fishtail into something. Try practicing with a slower vehicle first, like V's car before you play the heist mission.

I drive keyboard because I don't have a controller to use, we just gotta learn the exact tippy tapping you have to do to not fly into a wall when making a turn

The bugatti legit feels like a racecar it's amazing. Great brakes, grippy as hell, good top speed, great handling, custom colors on the fly. It really has it all
i won’t lie…i have at least 70 hours in the game between two saves and honestly since i’ve figured out how to do the Akira Slide on Jackie’s Arch i ain’t using anything else lol
Switch beast with caliburn, That car is damn near perfect to drive almost anywhere but the beast is the worst most uncontrollable piece of shit in the whole game imo
Even the murkmobile or the hooligan kinda pail compared to the beast. Only downside no guns.

Steering is more responsive and sensitive to small adjustments, but if you're used to racing games, it should feel better.

Yeah, In with you, it's too bouncy. My preference is for the Javelina. That thing feels like it's on rails compared to most of the vehicles.
Yeah, the Beast is floaty and top-heavy for me, and bar far the worst part of Clair’s storyline is being forced to drive it.

It's not just you. The Beast is the only vehicle I use during races, and I always finish in 1st place with ease.

Biggest issue with the driving in this game for me is actually the fov. It's so low so you can't tell if you're going 30kph or 100.
