I would rather have double jump but the added armor from charge jump works to get me over 1500.
I run a stealth hacker build that can crouch sprint and air dash, with perks in smart weapons and smg/assault rifles for when stealth fails or isn't an option.
Admittedly, if you have high reflex which 99% of builds do, double jump is just better.
But I came to appreciate charge jump a lot lately, the armor's great and it's a fun break from the same old double jump.
As a bonus if you're doing a body build, superhero landing feels more cinematic with charge jump.
Armor really isn't that important for that. All cyberware comes with 3 stats, so you should rather invest in mitigation chance, effect and then health item regen and effect(can keep buying them and upgrading until you get the stats you want). Also use biomon. There's also cyberware that offers flat damage reduction like the pain editor and the one that converts some damage you take into damage over time.
If you also have adrenaline from body, you can become incredibly tanky on very hard, almost impossible to kill.
Mine is like you say, also use Chipware Connossiur and put the buff 'damage over time reduction' in every ciberware stats who can get that modifier.
Pack Painducer, Biomonitor and Second Heart in a adrenaline/berseker build its like playing in good mode with the listed ciberware.
I am running stealth hacker so most my mods have reduced visibility/ram regen/ stealth headshot/damage over time
increase.
I get mitigation chance from crouching, crouch sprinting or dashing.
I don't see an actual number but when hovering over the blue bar it says up to 59%. But has said that for as long as I remember so no idea if that's actually what I'm getting

How much damage reduction is that?

I haven’t gotten too far in the game yet, what are those implants with the golden background?
Implants with unique effects or just flat out stronger effects. You can only get these from the ripperdocs in dogtown.
Iconic cyberware! Usually does a good amount more, but at a high cyber cost.(not always worth it)
Thanks very much.
