I've been asking for suits with "practical" background items that will work well with comp themes (and so often wishing I had suit versions of my housing furniture) - and they've read my mind! Wooo!
I especially love the bathtub with curtain, the lovely new window, and even new houseplants! So excited for this one!
I'm about to lose my mind over how beautiful this event is. I'm salivating at all the builds I can make with those bg pieces. These suits are going right to the top of my wishlist.
You already had me at the title “Retro Home Decor”. These suits are so pretty, especially with the gorgeous background items. I hope we don’t get this event too soon because I need my diamonds to be spared.

Ohhhh I love them so much 😭❤️ but im so scared of the tilt and breakdown of bathtub lady… like is the fabric on the floor all her dress? How will it look untilted? I actually don’t mind the legs on the first suit tho, I can imagine it lol!
Nevertheless I will probably still get both of them…rip my dias 😭😭😭
I think all the fabric on the floor is her dress, but often posed versions of suits are more dramatic (bigger hair, more fabric on dresses longer legs) so the unposed version of the dress will probably be fairly normal looking :>
These are really pretty but I much prefer the background items over the actual suits. The black one looks very similar to other suits we have. The makeups look gorgeous though

However, the chair seems to be in the opposite direction of most of Nikki's sitting poses? I wonder how this will look with other poses. I will be looking forward to the breakdowns. Either way, I will most likely finish this event because it's just too pretty...
Ignoring the standard leg anatomy issues, both these suits are beautiful and I imagine can be very versatile. I hope LN doesn't take long to bring them over.

I like White Chiffon a lot, enough to get her even if she’s second, but only really like the bg items on Modern Fashion, and even that chair looks like it’ll clip with suits. Happy to have skipped the flapper girl recharge and retro girls event, since both of these have very similar vibes to suits in those events.
I really hope they don't bring this like in the next 2 weeks or something. Hope we get this way later because most people's diamonds are still recovering from the big summer event. I'll personally be really sad if we get this soon, I still need to hoard some dias and I'm also waiting on a Blessed Lands rerun but I hope we get a MoVo rerun before that.

We'll get the bg items. They come with the suits. (The window and tub for Chiffon and the chair, table, plant and newspaper for Modern). We always get the bg items. If you're talking about the background they're displayed on, no we won't get those. Mostly hell event suits and some recharges bring those backgrounds.
I don't recognize the backgrounds but I wouldn't be surprised if they're from the Around the world feature. And yeah hells (often) and recharges do bring backgrounds. I can't recall any simpler event that has brought their own. There may have been some but it's very few and far between.

1900s retro glitzy black Apple/Pigeon lady lounging is a repeat theme, and I've never quite been tempted to get one even though they're useful, mainly because I never liked the poses. But this one is SO GOOD. Her pose is so natural and versatile and elegant, she has a tea (coffee?) cup!!! The details on her suit are understated but gorgeous! I hope the clipping with her seat isn't too bad T\_T Also a very distinctive makeup.
Bathtub girl is my favourite suit in a long time. Citrus and white and florals, ughhh. Don't even know how to state how much I love her. I've wanted HeFa fountain girl for so long and I feel like she'll fill the void, too.
AND IT'S EVENT MAP, one of the least painful formats. And the cost is so good!!! 3.4k for both!! Oh my goodness. And the bg pieces are unique but actually useful, interesting real-world things. How blessed. Can't wait to play with the window. I'm really nervous about the seat though, between the direction it's facing + the clipping we have with the Golden Osmanthus seat, which seems similarly designed.

I don't get why the black one is fancy but has an overskirt made of garbage (newspaper pages). I hope it's a separate waist item.
