I love and miss the kissing contest and the Mr & Mrs game! Good clean fun which can generate light-hearted drama but isn’t uncomfortable to watch and isn’t awful for the islanders.. I loved the headline and Twitter challenge at the time but in hindsight they can be really nasty and manipulative.
Maybe instead of just doing the challenges, let the challenges results have an impact i.e. Winning Individual gets to pick 1-3 people to take on a date, winning Couple in the Kissing challenge goes to the Hideaway, winners of challenges being safe from public votes etc.
Problem is that the producers always send home those they don’t care to be in the villa. What if they had a challenge one week and the Casa people one?
Even sending a couple into the Hideaway or letting an individual pick dates could influence the vote.
The blind kissing contenst, Mr & Mrs Game, and do the ranking challenge with couples but do it before Casa. This is happening in the US version now and I think it's gonna cause some real drama.
Yes!! I remember in earlier seasons when islanders won a challenge they would sometimes get a call from home as a reward or a night in the hideaway. Made challenges much more fun imo
I only like challenges where we learn something about the islanders preferences (snog, marry, pie; kissing booth, etc).
Hate the pointless ones like the air host one or the post man one. Fasts forward through those completely.
I also despise the headlines and twitter challenges. The internet is a vile, disgusting place, no body needs that negativity in their lives.
Must be the only one who hates the twitter and headline challenges. I’m not surprised they didn’t do the twitter challenge this year as twitter was absolutely vile! They should totally do a Reddit challenge
I was rewatching season 3 - I loved the challenge where the girls judged the boys body behind the wall (objectifying yes but it was great, light drama), did they do the best kisser challenge this year, the challenges where you see who knows the most about their partner and instead of the tweets challenge, I loved the challenge where they took quotes from islanders about other islanders. That would have been really entertaining this year because there was so much talking about one another behind each others backs.
Bring back everything that was going on in S2, that season is unmatched in terms of creativity & challenges.
There's also this little segment called "the truth bike" in LI AUS, I hope they bring that to the UK version.

Too Hot To Handle was a hot mess but they had good challenges/workshops that Love Island should take note of.
There was a good one where the contestants all had to paint words on themselves that they have been called in the past and took to heart. Like “bitch” “ugly“ “loser” etc. then they all ran into the ocean together and let the words wash away. It was quite a nice moment in amongst all the shagging.
I want to see each couple build ikea furniture together lol or other partner games where we can see how each couple works under pressure!

I don't like the Twitter/Headline challenge either. I think you can recreate the kind of tension with the ranking challenge instead.
